About the equipment being clean and well maintainedâ€¦it was about as clean as usual. I've never rented a â€œcleanâ€ uhaul. They're always acceptable and get the job done, but clean? That's pretty vague. Maybe give me another option, like on a scale of 1-10, not just a yes or no.Dolly M.

Where the pickup location was great, this was the worst U-Haul experience we have ever had. First, where the trailer does say it's not water proof, but water resistant, the front of the trailer leaked water and boxes were extremely wet. There wasn't water by the back door, but the front leak a lot. My truck lid says the same thing but I had like 3 drops of water. Totally not expected. Second, and more importantly, you changed my drop off location. When I made the order, you accepted a location basically where I moved in Northern Idaho. Once I was on the road, your representative called and informed me I had to take the trailer to a different location in the state of Washington. I had to drive 60 miles past numerous U-Haul places that I was not allowed to drop it off at and if I did, I would get charged an improper drop off fee. Where I realize it helps your business to position equipment to fit your needs, forcing me to drive 60 miles to drop it off after you agreed to my requested drop off location is completely unacceptable. The principles the U-Haul were founded on are no longer present and I would recommend U-Haul only in a crisis and as a last resort. I used to think U-Haul was a great company, but unfortunately they are no longer that and quiet frankly needs a complete change in leadership.Leonard M.

It would be nice to make sure that the cashier is not on a personal call while trying to complete a customers order. It would have been nice if she maybe would have told the person on the other end of her personal cell phone to hold on or call back while she attendant to the customer standing in front of her. I'm not sure if the young lady at the next register was a manager or not but I'm hoping she was not because she did not correct her disrespect to the customer.TENESHIA J.
I was charged over 400.00 onto my card close to 450.00 because the personnel did not check in the truck correctly. I have gotten only 250.00 of that back at this time, and this is the second time that I have used this location, and the same thing happened with extra charges then.JAMES W.
The trailer came off while driving on the interstate at 0245 AM. Sparks were flying everywhere. It eas truly terrifying. Uhaul personnel did not attacked the hitch properly. The Uhaul personnel put the wrong size ball on the hitch/trailer. The Uhaul tightened The screw or bolt with His HANDS. I repeatedly asked him if he needed to get a tool to tighten the screw on the ball and he said â€œNo what if you need to unhook the hitch and you don't have any toolsâ€ I can't believe Uhaul is still in business. My Famil and I could have lost our lives had there been diesels or any other vehicles around us. Uhaul road side service could not help as it was too early in the morning and I had to purchase another ball despite purchasing one recommended by UHAUL personnel when I picked up the trailer from Uhaul I turned Uhaul trailer in on 01 June 2021 at 415 PM on Lorton, VA. I never received a receipt stating that it had been returned. I had to call U-Haul at 9 o'clock on June 2 to inquire about getting a receipt. The personnel I had to go outside to check to see if I had a really return the trailer. She apologize for the mail personnel that did not check the trailer and when it as turned in. Overall, this was the WORST experience ever. My Family and I are still in shock. Uhaul needs to train their personnel on how to pick the appropriate ball for trailers, how to hook trailers up properly with a tool and not their hand. The representative that I rented the truck from made a 100 mile mileage mistake on my contract after being told by myself and Traffic. Caused me issues at turn in. Did not come out to the truck, there was no dolly in truck and again caused check in issues do to there not being any cell phone signal at the Hollywood location. I was not able to do my check in!!! Pre trip. I do not move much so it caused a lot of confusion.JAMES M.
