There were several charges added to my bill that are unsubstantiated. I was charged $14.00 for SafeMove coverage and I was not asked if I wanted it or asked to authorize it. It was added without me knowing. I was charged $8.25 for gas even if I returned it at the same level of gas as when I took it out (I added $14.00 of gas). I was charged a $50.00 cleaning fee even if I returned the truck clean and in the same condition as which I took it out.Juan R.

The staff member who processed my rental was very friendly and helpful. For this reason, I'd recommend the location to a friend but with the caveat that I experienced a late opening (I had a 9:00 appt when the lot was to open and the staff was about 10 minutes late); and that when I arrived at 1:00pm to drop off the truck, the office was closed. I tried to follow the directions for dropping off the truck when office unattended, but the instructions asked that I drop the truck off on the lot. I couldn't because the gate was closed (and someone dropped their truck off but blocked the entrance to the lot). I waited for 45 minutes before the staff arrived, and a customer before me said he waited at least an hour and 45 minutes. The staff had a doctor's appointment over what I assume was his lunch hour, and the appt went longer than expected. One other comment - I called UHaul to inquire about what I do, and had the most painful experience being on hold for what I was first told would be 20 minutes, and after 25 min on hold, the staff member arrived so I hung up. What was painful was the message repeated every 15 seconds something about "if you're calling to pay an invoice, please go to your online account...." How is it possible that same message plays over and over for a caller who is on hold for 20 minutes?!! It was awful.NINA G.

This facility was in a not-so-great neighborhood, behind a gate. There was no one there when I arrived, and a crowd of us waiting outside until a guy drove up and opened the gate. Then I had to leave the UHaul on the street because they closed at 4 on a Friday.Brittany B.

Very upsetting that I dropped off the rental at 3pm and they were supposed to be open but they were locked up. Called U-Haul direct to report that I dropped off the rental. I was told but Crystal that shw would note that I returned the rental and that once the dealer opened I would get my receipt via email. Did not receive the email until 3:39pm and was surprised to find a cleaning fee of $25.00. There may have been some dust in the rear but I returned it cleaner than vans I've picked up prior to even using them. I tried calling customer service ar U-Haul but after waiting 40 minutes on hold I gave up. Will try again tomorrow.Steven W.
Be open @ the time of appointment. Be clear that the truck was empty of gas . Include cost of cleaning on blankets when returned. Out ur control the fact that ur website wasn't running properly @ any of the 3 sites i used. Dap Oakland, Alabama street, Redlands . The agent Pete @ Outer Highway 10 was surprised we were turning in a truck, as the email info was given. Nor did he give me a receipt . Sadly I've used UHaul for years w/ no problem.
