The trucks exterior was filthy. There were several other trucks that were not dirty at all. The inside had dirt on the floor and trash behind the seats. I requested a replacement vehicle from the location as directed by phone support. The attendant was not willing to switch vehicles. They did come out and remove some of the trash which they threw on the ground!Mathew B.
T he e customer service was great. However the van was damaged. I am not use to rented damaged goods from Uhaul. The vehicle was mark with the damage but these vehicle should be taken offline. During these times of COVID, perhaps the business could put something in the vehicle stating that they sanitized the inside of the vehicle after every use. I had to wipe the inside of the vehicle just so that I felt safe.George S.
I opened an online account; filled out the type of vehicle I wanted, filled out my personal and credit card information, and your website prompted for me to enter a Verification Code which was being sent to my email address. After five minutes I hit the button to send me another verification code. After receiving no code, I just logged out of my account. The rental at the location went smoothly. Just now logging in to my email account I see that two verification codes were sent to me via email ALMOST FOUR HOURS after your website system asked me to enter the verification code which was being sent to me. The trailer I was supposed to rent to pull my truck lacked the straps to tie down the front wheels. As they did not have replacement straps nor another carrier, I was told to call roadside assistance. Though the representative on the other end of the phone was helpful, she couldn't solve this problem and directed me to another U Haul store a few towns over and for this store to reverse the contract. Upon arrival at the U haul store in Glenn Bernie, I was pleased to find they had three trailers. Assessing the time I had lost, I still assessed I could on with my plans. Then the young lady lowered the boom and said she had made an error and that the trailers she did have were only for local hire, not one way. At this point I proclaimed three tours in Iraq were less stressful than this U-Haul experience. I sought out the manager and common sense prevailedâ€”he gave me the trailer and I was on my way, but had missed/lost an entire day of packing. Sorry, not a big fan right now. Doug FarrisDoug F.

I reserved a truck. Showed up and they didn't have it ready. I had to call uhaul because my reservation didn't exist... Even though it didRichard H.
Pickup was a little slow with the cashier assisting other customers at the same time he was trying to finalize paperwork for me to take the truck. Truck's air conditioning was non-functional, which was somewhat painful given the temperature that day, and the padlock on the back of the truck did not open. The key provided went into the lock and turned, but the lock wouldn't actually open, forcing me to use string to tie the latch shut on the cargo door to ensure it wouldn't open during transit.TIMOTHY B.
