Generally clean; however, when putting some things in storage, I found A LOT of rodent feces. When I alerted staff, they tried to say it was because I had furniture padding covering my furniture . . . Didn't find the rodents, but there were two poison traps in my unit, so I was surprised. Otherwise, as long as you pay on time and the correct amount, they really didn't interfere.

Both locations were fine. It's corporate that I have an issue with and is why I won't use u-haul again. I was charged 2 extra days for the truck. Christmas Day was the first day I was charged. That facility was closed, therefore I couldn't unload the truck into my unit that I rented there. I will be moving again and U-haul Will not get my business.

We are very very unsatisfied with the experience. For starters we paid Uhaul to load and secure our car on the tow dolly and they wouldn't do it so our car was damaged because of your staff not loading the car onto the dolly, And we were suppose to have the truck for 3 days and had to return it on the 2nd day we picked it up on Monday morning 12/11/17 and was told to return it by Wednesday 12/13/17 which it should have been returned on Thursday 12/14/17. We would like to know what is going to be done about the car cause we have been told by several people that it will be totaled cause of the damage to it. We sent a copy of the receipt to your claims department and have not heard back from anyone. We are looking for a lawyer, you all should be responsible cause we paid you all for a service that didn't get done till after the damage was done, that is so very wrong. We hope to NEVER have to use Uhaul again after this.

The van was muddy and smelled inside like a cover-up spray. The employees treated me as if I work for them. "you need to" was the key phrase for everything. I used the van a short time and when I turned it in, the attendant yelled at me "Hey" and pointed that I restart the van and pull forward one foot. I did all of the pre-application to avoid time once I arrived, but that did not seem to help the process.... for example I noted on the pre-application that I did not want extra insurance, but was asked two times about that....as well as other questions that I had already answered in the pre-application. My card number was in the system, but I had to dig the card out so that it could be scanned as well as other hoop-jumping processes....I was not treated with respect, but was told what to do and when !! "you need to go out and inspect the van and if you find anything, you need to find somebody out there to look at it and mark it on the form"....when I tried to get someone over to look at the van..she looked up at me and then went on about her what she had been doing as if I was not there....etc.

Everything at the Gastonia site was great. Very friendly people from desk to return, ALL thanked me for choosing UHaul and asked if all was as expected. CORPORATE BILLING ISSUE: For some reason I did not get my final Truck Rental Receipt. Took 3 phone calls (all agents were VERY polite ) You have some kind of issue with your billing system that reduced the overall experience for me.

I must you have some of the dumbest rules I have ever heard. I rented a small trailer. They informed me that we had to bring it back with the same vehicle we left with. That’s ridiculous! What difference does that make. And sometimes that’s not possible. Please think about this and how aggravating it is to your customers!

I've been renting a storage unit for several months while finding a new home. I pay extra for 24hr acces. Because of downsizing from a lg home to a smaller one, I rented another 10 by 10 unit because of different closing dates. I acquired 3 men to pack up the lg sized truck, of course it takes time. When we got back to unit it denied me access to get inside. We called the after hours #, no answer. I then called Uhaul Cust svc # to be left on hold 3x for 45 min, late nite in freezing weather! She gave me a code # that did NOT work! We had to come back the next day after I talk to them to be told they don't know what happened, just a 'glitz in their system?! It worked the next hour then disallowed me again on the next visit! They were very non shalant & unprofessional! It toook us 3 days to finally finish moving & I spent a fortune paying Uhaul & those men!
