Extremely Disappointing Experience – Safety Concerns and Unfair Charges I had a very frustrating and concerning experience with this U-Haul location on Rochester Road in Cranberry Township. From the moment I walked into the store, the customer service was disappointing. The employee was eating, barely acknowledged me, and showed little interest in assisting me. Her attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfortunately, the experience got much worse after I picked up the truck at approximately 5:51 PM. As soon as I got inside, I noticed the check engine light was on, along with several other service warnings on the dashboard. Despite these warning signs, the vehicle was rented to me. After driving for only about two minutes, I noticed the fuel gauge dropping unusually fast. When I stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods, I opened the back of the truck and discovered a gas container inside. This raised serious questions about whether the location was already aware of a fuel-related issue. Even after stopping to put gas in the truck, the fuel gauge continued dropping significantly. This all happened over a distance of approximately 12 miles. What makes this situation especially concerning is that I had my brother with me. We were trusting U-Haul to provide a safe, properly inspected vehicle. Instead, we were put in a situation where the vehicle had multiple dashboard warnings and what appeared to be a serious fuel-related problem. To make matters worse, I was charged approximately $42 in additional fees, including a charge for 2 gallons of gas and an additional service fee. I find it completely unreasonable to charge a customer extra money when the vehicle itself appears to have a fuel-related problem. I contacted U-Haul customer service and filed a complaint that same evening. I also returned to the location the following morning to try to address the situation. This experience was unacceptable from beginning to end: poor customer service, questionable vehicle safety, and unexpected additional charges. My biggest concern is not even the money; it is why a vehicle with multiple warning lights and an apparent mechanical or fuel-related issue was rented to a customer in the first place. I would strongly encourage management to investigate this location's vehicle inspection procedures and customer service standards. Customers pay U-Haul expecting safe and reliable vehicles, and that is exactly what they should receive. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and refunds the additional charges.

Michael RThe lady we dealt with to get the truck had no clue what was going on. We could not get the size truck we requested, even though there were several on the lot. We settled for a smaller truck. She could not print a copy of the contract, and she was back & forth about the cost. Do we pay for mileage or is it unlimited mileage? She told us both. The inside of the cab of the truck had a nasty odor. When we returned the truck, the gentleman would not tell us what our final cost was. You'll get an email. What an awful experience.
Robert DIt was close to home with pleasant employees. But the bed of the truck was dusty and we were not provided with a dolly that was on the final receipt.
zoe sLocation not very inviting but all went well. Was able to do most online so minimal interaction in the place was needed.
