Good afternoon. On May 22, 2022 I reserved a 17 foot Uhaul from your location on Rochester rd in Cranberry township PA. Below is a screenshot of my reservation. I chose this location specifically because it showed that they were able to rent the 17 foot truck I needed for the amount we are moving into my son's apartment. Reservation made, and confirmation of the reservation also made yesterday 6-19-22 prompted by your email. Today, when my son went to pick up the truck I reserved AND confirmed...he was told they had no 17 foot truck...only a 10 foot or 26 foot truck. NEITHER of which were appropriate for this move. He asked the attendant to find him a 17 foot truck at a neighboring Uhaul...but was told non were available. Since the 26 foot was outrageously large and would not fit where we were going, we had to take the 10 foot truck and will now need to make 2 trips...load, unload, drive back to the house, reload, and unload.. wasting TIME, energy, and manpower that should be helping move and assembling everything. Respectfully, I DID plan, I did reserve, and I did confirm. The only explanation he was given at the Uhaul location was "it happens all the time when you reserve online" - which I do not feel is an acceptable response at all. I am asking for nothing...I just want you to know that this experience has started off me moving my son out of my house (a difficult time for me as it is) into a stressful, disorganized and very unsatisfying experience. Please understand, I am just so disappointed in thisMatt P.

I use this location as it is close proximity to my needs. They don't focus solely on UHaul, so mixed experience. If you aren't patient, don't go there. Also just had experience yesterday where I took out a truck full of gas, drove it a total of 8 miles and they recorded gas as empty when I returned at a cost of ~$180 that I'm working to resolve. I understand mistakes can be made, but when a significant billing issue arises, I'd like location to be able to address than to refer to customer service where I had to wait over 30 minutes to talk to someone. I'm sure I'll continue to use UHaul, but again - sometimes a bit more clumsy a process than some may accept.Steven P.
Only truck was ready. I had to go back into the store to get the other moving equipment on the order/contract. However, there was no box dolly and only 8 of the 12 furniture pads/blankets ordered. I had to call U-Haul to adjust my contract to remove the box dolly and quantity for the furniture pads. Even though I checked in online already & uploaded the driver's DL information, it took well over an hour at the store.TIMOTHY S.
I drove the truck 7 miles. I got the truck with 3/4 of a tank of gas. I put three gallons of gas in it and returned it with slightly more than 3/4 of a tank and you still charged me for 2 gallons at $5 something per gallon. I feel like I was ripped off.Gerald M.

The owner was very rude an refused to give us a receipt after returning the truck. He then threw the keys at us telling us to go somewhere else. The truck had no gas in it when we picked it up. We still have yet to receive the receipt. I am very disappointed with the service through this location an i will make it known the way i was treated.Stephanie C.
Upfront warning that somebody will need to be contacted in order to verify identity. What is the point of the online check in if I'm going to have to go in the store then wait in a line for my keys.Sunket H.
The worker seems very confused how the computer even worked. He actually had me type my name into places. Getting through the initial work on the computer took multiple attempts. By the time we finally got our keys, we went to the back of the building to the trucks and the entire back parking lot was ice. It did not look like any attempt was made to salt. There was 1 truck that looked ready to go, but that was NOT the truck we were given. We were given a truck covered in snow. It took us 45 minutes to get the snow and ice off. I was shocked that Uhaul did not have the truck ready for us to drive away. So basically I was being charged to clean the snow off the truck I rented as I was being charged by the hour. And there was old drinks in the front seat. A very frustrating experience to say the least.Patrick W.

The location requires you to go into a convenience store that smells like a chain smoker resides in it...because they illegally allow smoking inside the building. I had issues with my reservation which required me to be in that space for much too long. The vehicle smelled like someone smoked in it too. Fine if you don't care about awful smells but definitely needed to wash my clothes and shower after I returned the truck.HOPE A.

Your trucks are all covered in 8 inches of snow and thick ice and we spent more than 30 minutes trying to clear just to be able to drive the truck. Once we got inside and turned it on it had absolutely no gas. All these issues were reported to the manager inside and he just shrugged. Just gave us a very late start for our move and added a lot of stress.J Michael W.

Remove the franchise from this location. Truck inside cab and inside box area was filthy. Checking out the vehicle we discovered information put into system on line before picking up was missing; had to enter in store. Second rental from this store where mileage out, then in was verified by me but inaccurate on final bill which over charged my credit card. Asked for additional day twice. Once before renting when someone called and asked if I wanted a trailer as well. I said no to the trailer, but I needed to turn the truck in on a Tuesday and the lady said she would extend with no additional fee. I got to the place to pick up the truck and the guy did not show that I needed to turn in on Tuesday. So he added the day and charged me for it. I got a call this morning asking why I was late with the truck. I showed up with the truck this evening and was told I owed $178 more for the extra day. I also had to return the truck full when it was given to me at 3/4 full. I was totally ripped off by Uhaul and will never recommend you to anyone. Completely lost my business forever.DANIEL Y.

Truck looked like it was used to haul topsoil in it and not cleaned very well. I had to sweep and then washed done with a rag the cargo floor and then put tarps done so my stuff wouldn't get dirty. Also roof leaked in numerous place on right side of cargo bay. Luckily it stopped raining in late morning before I fully loaded truck. Was only going to use one side until rain stopped. Also truck cab smelled of cigarettes from previous renter.Scott K.

The app for returning the equipment would not cooperate on my new android phone. It kept stating to upload a photo of the odometer and fuel, but when I would snap the photo with the app and hit next, it would perpetually ask for the photo and never actually submit it. I instead went inside the store to the clerk who said he would help with the return, but the fuel was reported as less than what it was when I returned it to the store, resulting in a $65 charge. U-Haul support refunded this amount but not without a little hassle. I believe it was a genuine mistake by the clerk as there is another indicator on the truck that could reasonably have been confused for fuel, but this could have been avoided altogether of the mobile app worked correctly.ROBERT K.

No smoking in the store. Could have been better organized. Is not a dedicated uhaul outlet and it seemed the uhaul part of the business was just an afterthought. That being said, the truck was clean, newer and ran better than any uhaul I've rented in a long time.andree L.

The crew was rude and impatient. I rented a smallest truck. They.called me in the morning and said it was available. When I arrived, they said they don't have it. They gave me a bigger truck I don't need. They also charged me $14 for safe move that I don't need. They never told me when they gave me the vehicle. My only gripe is with the fuel gauge. I ended up spending over $30 more than necessary because the gauge does not register the amount of gas to being put in. Possible solution - tell Customer how many Gallons rhe tank holds and then we can guesstimate the number of gallons usedThomas N.

I was there almost an hour. The person working there said my reservation was for Monday. I explained to him it was not and showed him my reservation. He them said I needed to return the truck there. I again showed him the reservation. He did call the Uhaul number for me. And things got worked out. It seemed to me on Friday everything was ready to go. I don't think the dealer turned his computer on since Friday. Wasted an hour of my time. Not sure why I was charged a two day rental. Actually time used was maybe 5-6 hours.BRIAN M.

The owner of the store has no idea how to work the reservation system. I had to enter everything in the computer for him. I had checked in and registered, and the owner took away the keys as I was about to leave. Even though uhaul system processed my payment. I'll never rent from that location again.Anthony G.
