They put a drop hitch on my small car which made the trailer bar on the ground and not driveable. Luckily it was an easy fix of flipping the ball which raised it up but they didn’t do it for me. A friend had to do it for me. They let me pull out of the parking lot in a very dangerous situation with the drop hitch.

HAVE STAFF THOROUGHLY EXPLAIN CHARGES BEFORE YOU'RE BILLED AND DO AN ACCURATE CHECK OF MILEAGE BEFORE A CUSTOMER LEAVES AFTER RETURNING EQUIPMENT. MY MILEAGE WAS NOT ACCURATELY DOCUMENTED. I ASKED FOR CONFIRMATION THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE WHEN I DROPPED OFF AND WAS JUST SENT OUT THE DOOR BEING TOLD I WAS GOOD TO GO. I WAS CHARGED FOR OVER 100 MILES FOR A LOCAL TRIP THAT WAS UNDER 40 MILES ROUND TRIP, THEN TWO DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A BILL FOR ALMOST 200, FOR WHAT SHOULD HAVE COST BETWEEN 30 AND 40.00.

Hello. I did not agree to the safe move for $28. I agreed to the $14 safe move. I also have a complaint into your customer service due to the fact that your office did not have the 17ft Uhaul that I reserved causing me to make 3x the trips and 3x the mileage AND did not have the original location I committed to pick up at. Due to Uhauls error I had to pay movers 2x the amount I agreed to, incured 3x the mileage I should have, and triple the time it should have taken me. To make matters worse, I have now been charged for 2 days rental and to days for the safe move rental. My contract clearly says the Uhaul is due back at 1am. You can see by the pictures and the timestamp on the pictures that I clearly returned the Uhaul on time. I want the $50 credit I have already been promised for my inconvenience, a credit for the extra day charged for the Uhaul and safe move, and I want all mileage credited in excess of the 30 miles of usage that it should have been. If this does not happen I will file a formal complaint with Better Business Bureau, Uhaul Corporate, and whatever legal measures necessary to recroup my money. I STILL have not received a return call from a supervisor like I was promised last night. This is the second time in 2 weeks that I have rented a Uhaul and this is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had renting from Uhaul. The truck we rented had a leak in the ceiling. When we moved, it rained the whole time and water leaked into the truck damaging several of the boxes along with some of the contents of the boxes. also a new dinette table got wet and was warped. though we bought insurance for the move, I am told that our insurance does not cover damage due to water. this is extremely disappointing and Uhaul should be responsible to ensure that the trucks they rent do not leak!

This comment is not directly related to this specific location. This is a comment directed at Uhaul specifically. I made a reservation on 12/18/17 and my move date was 1/13/18 which I then changed to 1/14/18 around a week in advance due to bad weather. Days before my move I received a call that my truck was not going to be available. Long story short I ended up traveling much further than needed to get a truck and at some point during the phone calls, emails and text messages my reservation got changed from an in town to a one way. I was never aware there was a difference in reservations but now I am aware. Overall my experience was not good and I have complained about this and did receive what I thought was fair compensation. I wanted this documented as I think it was unfair to me when I did my due diligence as a customer and made my reservation weeks in advance and made sure it was most convenient and cost effective to me.
