This was the second location I had to go to that morning. I never received notification that my location changed. They gave me a truck with a really bad tire. Didn't catch it until I was on the road. The brakes needed to be replaced also.Sarah G.

I rented a truck knowing I would need every inch of it. The stupid dolly tied to the inside wall of the truck lost usable space and caused more work and mileage as we had to make multiple trips. It's a horrible promotional gimmick and I didn't get the truck space I paid for. Additionally, I used a quarter of a tank and was charged $25 dollars. I could not find a gas station where the truck would clear the roof. The service was fine but to incur the additional costs I did on a 24-hr rental was a racket.BOBRA C.

The representative that I worked with did not have good customer service skills. After doing business with her, she didn't even say thank you. I believe she needs to go to customer service 101, you always think your customers they are the ones that putting food on your table. I asked her how long she's been with Uhaul and she said five years, she was very unfriendly. The vehicle I rented was a brand new vehicleAnd was excellent. We had rented U-Haul trucks from this particular store a couple of times and had great customer service, never a problem or issue. Our most recent experience was the complete opposite and I truly hope that it was not due to racial profiling that made this last recent rental a nightmare. I had originally set up pick up at Scottsdale on Hayden. I ended up having to drive out to Chandler. When I got there the trailer had a bad tire on one side: a bald spot and a one inch cut in a different location. I asked the manager if he would drive a long distance on that tire and he said no. But he said he was not authorized to replace it, nor did he have a tire to replace it with. I asked if there were any other trailers in the system to use instead and he said no. I had three people lined up to help me load it and had to postpone them. I ended up having to take the trailer anyway and call your roadside service to get the tire replaced that afternoon at my home. That was three hours later but they did put a good tire on it which I appreciated. I set up this reservation a month in advance to avoid this situation but it did not seem to matter. Also frustrating was the cost of the trailer: I had rented one like it numerous times in the previous three years and this time the cost more than tripled from the most recent time. I understand costs go up after six months or a year but to have it tripled left a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately.CHUCK R.

We will NEVER use uhaul again after the experience that we had with this move. STILL waiting for a supervisors call back and the $50 rebate and reduced price per mile we were promised because YOU screwed our reservation up on the day we needed to move. Also, the fuel gage was broken so we had to completely fill the tank regardless of the fact it stayed on 3/4 full no matter how much we drove it. HAVE A SUPERVISE CALL US ASAP. I will be happily sharing our experience with our multiple friends, family and coworkers.Thomas O.
I had a very big problem with the 1-800 number and trying to reach a human to let them know I was keeping my truck for an additional day. I was not able to speak to a live person at either end. Not at the store and not on the 1-800 number, the store number feeds to the 1-800 number, and your put on an endless loop waiting to get someone to listen to your problem. I had to forgo any communication at all, for this, I give Uhaul an F-. Absolutely unacceptable. In the store, they are very specific in how they want to be contacted in an emergency or otherwise. Well if you follow those directions you are done for, your ability to communicate with your customer is in need of an extreme upgrade, and that's being nice!!!ROBERT H.

All was very good. Service team unhitched the trailer within 2 minutes of our arrival. They also returned $10 back to us, because we did receive blankets that were scheduled to be in our order from the beginning, but that was due to the U-Haul computer system issues when we initial got the trailer. The young man that took the u-haul back in explained everything to me and explained about the payment and all and I was gone in less than ten minutes. I made a reservation for a 5'x 8' trailer two days before pickup and when I showed up at my reservation time only to find that the trailer was not there.
