The representative needs to correct updates asap and not ignore it. Ex: the gas from uhaul was not correct and representative was informed about it and chosed not to fix paper work and when we returned uhaul they tried charging me to put gas the way it was listed on the paperwork when the worker varified the day before that it was incorrect. Not happy about it

We were given an updated quote of between 110 and 120 when we went to return the truck they said it was 170 and now they're saying it's 195 I am only going to pay what the quote was that they gave me not all those additional charges

cold water dispenser broken clerk only handled transaction questions, not knowledgeable about uhaul products and services we were rung up for two days instead of 1 when we turned in truck in less than 21 hours for a 24 hr reservation even if a lesser time was noted in a customer reservation, the rate is $29.95 per day and uhaul should automatically only charge for one day when returned back before 24 hrs elapses. always do the right thing even if customer is not aware

Not crazy about the whole $0.xx per mile plus whatever fuel we used. It should be one or the other, not both. At the very least, you should grant 10 miles to accommodate the drive from the location to the home and back.

I had a reservation for a 15ft truck at 10am. The previous renter had not returned the truck and was told I could wait for a phone call when it returned. There was 6 other 15ft trucks at the location. I was given a 20ft instead and in return was suppose to be given a discount. I was charged the regular price for a 20ft. I was not happy about my reservation not being honored and was basically penalized for someone else's late return! I could not wait as I had a crew lined up to help w my move. On another note, the staff member who helped was very pleasant to deal with and she was apologetic about my reservation not being met.

Service was slow, waited in line just to pick uhaul up for over 55 minutes. This location cannot handle more than one customer at a time. Front desk was very nice and apologetic but if your pressed for time it was not a good experience.

We reserved a 26’ van and when we arrived to pick it up, it was rented out and we were out of luck. Dean, the manager (I think) was extremely helpful, he tried finding us another 26’ down to 20’ all over stanislaus county but none were available. We ended up with a 15’ truck to move a 4 bedroom house. We had to make several trips to accomplish this because one way was a two hour trip. Then the unloading had to happen, return to our home (2 hour return) load up and make another 2 hour trip. What should have taken one day to move 100 miles took us 3 days. The customer service at 1-800-uhaul was less than satisfactory. I’m waiting to hear if they will reimburse us for the labor hours we paid our movers, which cost us over $1,000! I will never use uhaul again because their “guarantee” for the truck you reserve isn’t really a guarantee.
