Very disappointed in the renting experience. I have rented a uhual multiple times and have never had this poor of an experience. Rented a vehicle for noon and on day of was told I could not pick up the vehicle until 3:30. After waiting 3 and a half hours was given a horrible vehicle with a jammed brake, a dashboard lit up with error messages, and broken nobs inside.Gregory C.

This was confusing. I received a text from U-Haul to drop the truck off at this location which was different from the contract. I did. I did not receive credit for two extra days I paid for but did not use. Key to the padlock I used was attached with the ignition key and I left it behind. Seems like it would have been courteous to let me know by phone or email. Person accepting truck punted on my getting back the $80 for the two used days and said he didn't know and that U-Haul would decide. If it was clear in the contract you would think he would know. I ddin't hear anything from corporate. I expect better service these days and not to have to demand fair treatment. Everyone was nice and friendly and I am sorry that I seem to be dumping on the drop off location when I guess it was not their responsibility to see that I was treated fairly.David M.

I didn't have much of a reaction to the pick up location. I was extremely impressed with the woman who made my reservation. She was prompt. Concise and kind. She spoke clearly and obviously entered information quickly. I thought she was terrific.Kip S.
The mobile check in/pickup system was atrocious. Took so much longer to get my vehicle than at any time before using the mobile system. Why do I need to provide 3 phonen numbers and wait for an 800 number to call the 3rd number to verify that I'm a real person?! I pre-registered to avoid verifications, only to have some chat bot call all of the number except the primary (my number ) number to verify with my wife that I in fact am the one picking up the truck? The person that chatted and called my wife referred to her as a male multiple times during the call and chat that shouldn't have had to happen in the first place. I waited 15 minutes once I was at the pickup location for you to "verify" and "approve" my reservation, which made me, my wife, and a third person involved late to our appointments that day. Why provide my number, and secondary number, and a third number (I tried to have them call myself or my wife and they mobile system said I couldn't provide these numbers more than once and needed an alternative; what if I was on my own and had no other person to call on or vouch for me?!) If you're going to call the 3rd number and not the other two first? The photos of the truck that I had to verify before driving were not even at the same location/parking space, which is pretty nerve-wracking when threatened with the $45,000 price tag on the vehicle. I was prompted that I had uploaded too many photos of the vehicle when I disputed the photos that were supplied to me for my approval and was only trying to create a valid and thoughogh record before I drove the vehicle. Also, I was running behind on my pickup time and once I was less than 2 minutes from the pickup location I was contacted via phone and I was told I could no longer pick up at that location, and had to argue that I was in fact arriving there at the moment that I was on the phone with your agent. She said I could no longer pick up the and then immediately recersed and said it was all OK. I'm very dissatisfied with your service. Please do something about this. Can I have a refund of some sort? Don't insult my family with a future "credit" or anything similar, we don't make a regular thing out of renting 26 foot trucks on our free time.jeremy N.

I would like to single out an employee named Cameron at your location, I used the app for two rentals, but had to ask a few questions and Cameron was great! Very friendly and helpful. I also was waiting for my wife to pick me up and watched him interact with 3 more customers. He was just as helpful to all of them. I manage student workers, and in my experience, these skills seem to be declining a little every year. Just wanted to make sure his helpfulness and friendliness in the middle of a very stressful moving week for me did not go unnoticed. Thanks!ALLEN M.
