Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I returned the van and when the GM, Rana Strivelli, did the equipment check she noticed a dent and asked me when it happened. I stated it was there when I picked it up and that I had disputed every single pick up photo as none of them showed any of the existing dents and dings (some with the x stickers and some without). The van was covered with stickers and dings yet the pre rental photos showed none, only a pristine van. When I asked to see my upload photos on which she claimed she couldn't see the existing dent she showed me her phone, which with its dirty, cracked screen and in the bright sun, did make it very difficult to see anything. This is where I admit my fault because I touched the phone to turn the screen in hopes of getting rid of the glare. At this point she acted shocked and asked me "What are you doing touching my phone? That is extremely rude". I apologized and asked to see a better picture. At this point she said she couldn't go back to that screen any more. I asked to see the pre pick up photos because I was suggesting that since they showed none of the pre existing damage including any of the x stickers, maybe she had missed that ding since it was located up high. We then went inside to a computer terminal and she pulled up the photos of a completely different van to prove to me that the stickers had been in the photos. I pointed out that those stickers were in completely different locations and asked to walk out to the van again to compare. She then admitted that it was the wrong van and pulled up another van which had no stickers on it. I tried to explain my theory again that since there were no stickers in that photo perhaps she had indeed missed that ding. She said it didn't matter because she checked the condition and marked the vehicles every time at check in. At this point I was pretty sure I was going to be denied any decent customer service so I went out for a breather since this entire rental revolves around moving my ailing mother to live with me and I was stressed out. When I went back in and requested that she show me my pre rental dispute photos on the computer screen since it would have much better resolution than a dirty, cracked cell phone screen out in the bright sun she said "I've closed you out sir, here is your contract, I don't have time for you any more. You can contact customer service if you have a problem." Contact customer service seemed to have been her favorite phrase even while we were out at the van doing the walk around. Her refrain then was "Contact customer service at 1800 blah blah blah if you have a problem". I though the location agents were also there to listen to the customer. Anyway. I went home and sat on hold for 20+ minutes waiting for customer service. I spoke with a very nice agent named Ashley and explained the situation to her and asked if she could send me my uploaded dispute photos. She walked me through the creating an account process, but there were still no photos so she pulled them up and emailed them to me. I could see the dent in them and asked if she could as well. She said she could, but couldn't speak to what the agent on sight might have been able to see. When I asked Ashley what to do she said she could open a complaint right then or I could try the location again. I figured I would get a refund quicker if I returned to the location so I did. Once there Rana wan't around so Latasha helped me and after looking at the photos Ashley emailed me and the van she refunded the $150. Now I wake up this morning to an email from Rana stating those aren't the right photos. If she wouldn't take the time to show me the photos at the store why should I even deal with this person any more. I've rented many vehicles and tons of construction equipment through my business for 25+ years and never had an experience as bad as this one. I'm not saying everyone is perfect and Rana was pleasant overall, but once she had decided I was at fault it was like she wouldn't even acknowledge what I was trying to say.Kevin B.
Latasha was professional and thorough. She made the process smooth, yet she was the only one to assist at the counter while also helping out in the yard. It was quite a wait. As a suggestion, place a counter device to alert the staff in the yard a customer is waiting.KARINE F.

I was told when I made the agreement I was purchasing the blankets but when I returned them I was told I am renting blankets and pads. I left the blankets at the location I was storing furniture and forced to purchase the blankets. There were never any pads. U Haul appears to be a dishonest companyWalter W.

The truck was just OK. It ran great and didn't give me any mechanical problems. Ice cold A/C, comfortable seats (for a big box truck), easy and accessible controls, and good responsiveness. The reason it was just "OK" is because the driver door was warped so you really had to slam it shut hard to get it to properly close - the passenger side wasn't as bad, but still bad. The steering was VERY loose and going over potholes or bumps in the road was a bit sketchy since the truck would veer left or right. Also, the alignment was off. The steering wheel was turned to about the 1:30 position and the truck was driving straight. It was an older truck though with 110k on the clock.David C.

I am VERY dissatisfied with the final charges levied after the truck was returned. First off, when you rent the truck the fuel is not full, but noted the gas gauge is at some level and the renter is expected to return it at the same level. I filled the truck to the level l saw when l took possession. My card was debited for more fuel which was NOT where the level was when l initially took possession. Secondly, my account was debited a â€œlate feeâ€ because l returned the truck some hour or so after the facility closed. My rental fees were not expired until approximately 16 hours after l returned the truck, yet l am charged a late fee because your facility was closed when l did return the truck. Talk about having your cake and eating it too! Never again with these chargesbutch O.
