Charging mileage AND requiring a full gas tank upon return seems like double dipping. I only went 15 miles, the gas tank needle didn't even move, and the clerk was still adamant that it had to be topped off.

I made a reservation in michigan from Michigan 2 days before pickup and traveled to their main store at 1463 rio rancho blvd store which is close to my storage area in south Rio Rancho. When I got there they had my supplies(hitch& mattress covers) but made me go to a little gas station on paradise Blvd. in Albuquerque to get the trailer. This was a hassle and a waste of my time to deal with two different uhaul places. They had 2 days to have my trailer ready but sent me 10 miles in the wrong direction. I will never use uhaul again and will discourage anyone who plans on using them. They are unorganized and totally messed up my schedule.

1. Neither of the U-haul reps. were wearing the masks that are mandated in our state. 2. When one of the service reps hooked up electrical cord between the trailer and vehicle she failed to ensure that it was attached properly so that it wouldn't drag on the ground. When I made my first gas stop (in Raton, NM) I discovered the at the trailer section of the cord and my vehicle section of the cord were both shredded and therefore not providing me with the ability to have turn signals, brake lights, or emergency flashers indicate on the trailer. I called U-haul service line and was able to locate the next nearest U-haul dealer in Pueblo, CO (105 miles away) where I was able to stop and get it repaired. Fortunately it was during daylight hours.

My personal phone was unable to upload my license and staff at this location was able to assist and complete my transaction. Staff walked me out to the vehicle and personally made sure I was comfortable with its operation. I got the "royal treatment"!
