Terrible customer service. Our order was not ready and incorrect. Had to lose a day of pay and reschedule for another day. Everything still was not ready and manager not willing to help solve the issue when needed because him leaving for the beach was more important.

Advise them to tell the person renting at the time of the reservation that U-Haul has no trucks with Diesel engines. The Ford F-650 that I rented only averaged just over 6 mpg! I have a truck reserved with Penske one way later this month, picking it up at The Home Depot in Brandon, MS and dropping it off at The Home Depot in Gonzales, LA which is very well lit and they have a drop box to leave the key. The last Diesel the same size that I rented the last time I moved got way better mileage and cost around 1/3 less. I intend to continue renting trailers from U-Haul but never another truck.

Gave us a truck that wasn't checked from last time it was rented. The people were rude and didn't want to wait on us to the point that we had to sit in my car for and hour with a baby inside. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

We were told that the location opened at 8am. We arrived at 8:30 to drop off the truck. No one was there and it was locked. The door said it opened at 9am. We waited outside until 9:30am, when we called the manager, who was in disbelief that no one was there. 6-7 other customers had arrived and were also waiting outside. Sick of waiting, we placed the keys in the drop-off box and left.

I had an issue with booking my rental. A lady from the GA office took good care of me and helped me through the entire process. She was so calm and patient. I wish I had gotten her name. She was one reason I would use U-haul and recommend the company to my family and friends.

More signs on the outside of parking lot showing where to drop off vehicle. I was unsure when entering where to go to drop off vehicle. I entered from the opposite side and went all the way around before being told where to park. I know now, though.

Use metal or aluminum seals on the dolly and bag that is positioned in the truck so that when the customers moving and this equipment is not being used it will not break or rip off when the truck is being loaded or unloaded

Make the truck retrieval process quicker. Would have been faster to go inside and get employee to check me in as opposed to using app. App is great for taking photos of damage and mileage but the initial pick up of truck is somewhat of a hassle

I rented a truck weeks in advance and specifically wanted the one I reserved because the truck measurements worked with what I needed. When I got there the truck wasn’t there and was given a smaller one. Since it was smaller I had to make two trips instead of one for moving furniture which added extra miles driven and gas to be put in the truck. So I had to spend more money than planned and wasn’t given any discount for that.

The first pick up of the 6x12 trailer on 5/7/19, the server had a bad order about her, she spoke very low and mumbled her words, I really felt that she could care less if I rented or not, and the trailer was dirty when I took it out. The next pick up of the 26' truck was better, however, I reserved another 6x12 trailer for that afternoon, I was told there was no trailer available. Fortunately, I was able to make it work, no thanks to Uhaul. I was quiet disappointed, and don't feel that I could ever recommend this store, much less use them again.

The staff was not knowledgeable of their rental trucks or the equipment for moving they had in store. I was sent to another location for a dolly after I was told that it would be on the truck. I was also misinformed about the truck having a ramp; it did not. I was contacted after turning the truck in because I was changed for an additional day when I did not request it and was told by the manager in training that it would be removed. It was not! After turning the truck in and contacting the main headquarters I was told that the stores manager that I rented from would contact me. I was contacted and the issue was not resolved after she stated that she would review the recorded conversation and call me back. I haven’t heard from anyone since. I would not recommend this location or Uhaul to anyone and I will not be using them in the future. Their services are unprofessional, their employees lack fundamental knowledge of their equipment, how to handle customer service and deal with issues in a timely manner.

The entire time we stored our things there, the air/heat wasn’t working. It’s suppose to be climate controlled. It wasn’t . They had called to get it fixed, but apparently nobody wanted to come fix it

The store at 2203 Hey 80 E Pearl, MS was great! The store at 4494 US-80 E Pearl l, MS is a different story. Went in on Sunday 4/7/19 to check price on a car dolly. The lady, although she couldn't be bothered to end her personal call on her cell phone, was helpful. Came back Tuesday 4/9/19 to rent a car dolly, the store was supposed to be open at 7:00 a.m., I arrived at exactly 7:00 a.m. to a closed store and left at 7:30 a.m. because no employee ever showed up to open.

I never had a problem with using uhaul until yesterday. I will not turn a truck in after hours only turn Iwhen someone is there or take pictures. I was very upset disappointed and dissatisfied with my overall experience when returning the truck. I was charged for gas and extra mileage never had this problem before. When I called to check on pricing of storage I was told there was not any specials I get to the store and it is.

I was 30 minutes late picking up the truck but had to wait for it to be prepared. The dollies and pads I ordered were not in the truck. Plus, I tried to use the online express pickup with my phone and the app but ended up having to go inside the store to complete the process.

They rented out my reserved vehicle. I had a reason for reserving the specific truck and not the 6 wheel larger vehicle. My insurance would have covered the 4 wheeled truck I reserved, but not the 6 wheel they dumped on me. I was forced to spend $14. for your insurance. It was nice that I was charged the same $19.95 as the one I needed and wanted, The vehicle I received got less than 10 miles to the gallon. I put almost 4.4 gallons in for 31.9 miles. The vehicle was, also, too even more too large for someone under 5' to be driving. Not a great experience. Might look for someone else for my next rental.

I was not told that you were not refunded on gas. The lady that I spoke with was a real smart ass about it. Quarter take of gas in the truck when we got it so I filled it up cost $60 to do that then we landed up only Using quarter of a tank I honestly expected they’d knock some off the bill. Really annoying and then the ladies attitude on top of it just made it worse. Most likely will never use this company again.

The truck I used was a poorly maintained and truly unsafe unit. The alignment was pulling to the right with what felt like a loose steering wheel. The hazard lights did not work nor did the instrument cluster light (so I could not see my speed at night). I brought up the concerns to the staff and they chuckled with the quip response of “that’s why it’s an in-town only truck” I was surprised how laze fair they were on a 26’ truck with safety concerns. The cargo area was clean, and it was really useful to have all that hauling capacity. It was easy to use, just drive at your own peril.

I had many issues with the now GM, Casey. She d handles herself in a unprofessional manner with customers, my storage had rat droppings, etc. UHAUL will just say she's new and let her continue as so.

On the paperwork, it indicated the fuel tank was full. Upon exiting the facility, I saw the fuel tank was almost down to 3/4 of a tank. It was apparent that the vehicle checks are not done correctly.

I was told that I was being charged 5.25 foe gas that wasn't in the truck...Ok I am fine with that...but the charge on my card was 20.16... I don't pay 20.16 for a 1.5 gallon of gas...highway robbery...
