Start with being honest. There was an issue about prior damage. I did fail to note it but this was clearly something that was paid for at least once. I wasn't notified of the damage until several hours later, and after they took the money out of my checking account. For some reason they didn't bring up the issue when I checked the truck in. I never was shown a repair estimate, and they took more out of my checking account then they quoted the damage to be. So I do not recommend this U-Haul dealer to anyone due to their dishonest business practices. Steer clear of this one.

JASON B.When asked how many miles I would be using for a local rental, I said I was not sure, and was calculating what I think I would be using and she said I will just put in 30 miles. I was also not told that if I go over that 30 miles, that is when I would be charged for each additional mile. Had I been told, I would have told her to put more miles. As it was I paid $132 for using a truck for 4 hours. I will never use this location again, and am seriously considering never using a Uhaul again. I was not heard, and they did not care at all

When our issue/situation was brought to the attention of the General Manager, he seemed uninterested, dismissive and more concerned about how a discount would reflect on his business. In the last year, we have spent several hundred dollars with that location for rental of trucks & supplies. We were very disappointed with the overall experience with them and just the unfriendly attitudes.
ANDREW JAMES T.This location is the worst I have encountered when getting a UHaul rental. As an acutal UHaul location, I would have expected more. They did not have enough people to handle the customer load, I could not pick up my rental at the time on the reservation because after waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I had to leave for an appointment across town. When I returned, I had to wait another 20 minutes before I got to the counter and was able to get my rental 90 minutes late. When I returned it, again, there was a long wait time, I was told to take the trailer around back, after backing it into a position I was told I had to move it (I don't know why I had to move it) and I did. Then the worker out there left after dropping another customers trailer so I dropped mine and went out front. I told the worker I dropped the trailer, they asked if the other worker checked it out, I told them no that they left so I dropped it, then the worker had to do it afterwards. I will not go through this location again and I will not recommend this location to anyone else.

He was impatient and made me feel like I was wasting his time. I'm not usually one to complain but this experience was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. When we checked in the truck online when we had to compare it to the truck we received was totally different, the truck in the picture was almost brand new and the truck we received was all dinged up. Was in horrible condition and when I tried to upload the pictures the system stopped working. I took pictures of the truck just so I can have proof how messed up it was. We will never go with this uhaul again, even though it's the closes I rather go to a different one. Also it wouldn't allow us to check in online cause the truck wasn't ready, we reserved it a week ago and made a miner change the day before. Horrible experience, we wouldn't recommend this uhaul store to anyone.

GREGG RUSSELL M.My experience with uhaul on this moving was not good. It started with a change in location. I reserved a truck at a Richland, Wa location only to arrive there and find my reservation had been changed to another town. I rushed over there to ensure I didn't not lose the truck due to being late only to find a filthy and dirty truck. Upon returning the vehicle, I accrued an additional 22 miles of use due to the unforeseen change in location. This amounted to an additional $40 dollars. When I questioned the extra mileage cost caused by the change uhaul made to my requested location, the uhaul employee replied, “we don't guarantee locations. This truck could have been in Herminston, and if you didn't want it, you could have not taken it!†This was insulting as well as disappointing. It by far has been the worst experience I have had with uhaul!

The truck drove an angle the entire time and I had to have the steering wheel turned about 45 degrees to the right just to be able to drive straight. I hope that gets fixed before it is rented to someone else.

I'm sorry if he was having a bad day, but I was having an excellent day until he was a jerk. He had no customer service skills, he probably shouldn't be face to face with your customers.

I told him I took a video of the fuel gauge before I left and showed it to him and he agreed that it wasn't full and said that he would remove the charge. However since I said that I didn't need a paper copy of the receipt and just email it to me, he applied the charge and I didn't see it until I was back home and didn't feel like going back down to argue with him. And in regards to the truck I told him that the check engine light came on and also that the drivers door doesn't shut very well and he should get it adjusted so that the battery doesn't drain. I guess I shouldn't have helped you guys since you have no problems lying to me!

I had to go 60miles out of my way to get a trailor for my car. This involved un planned time. It may have been in writing by u-haul but was not communicated by the manager. It was difficult to get a hold of the manager there. She was not present or reacheable by her staff when I had a few issues to take care of. I will say Olympia has an excellent mechanic staff who stepped in to fix my trailor that was broken and figure out the problem so I did not lose my car on the way to Richland. A major part the winch to hold the car was put on backwards. You might want to see how long this part was upside down which could have had devastastng results. The manager was not at the store and I am not sure what they would have done for me if this could not be remedied. The manager and independant operator in Yelm helped me with the trailor and helped me as well to smooth out my overall experience with U-haul in Olympia. Overall my experience was even pretty good at both stores, but overall Yvette was excellent, perhaps she should be promote to a regional manager position. Thank you. The truck was in great mechanical shape and everthing was as smooth as could be when I arrived in Richland. Thank you. By the way the reason I dropped off in Pasco, was the store was open on Sunday and had storage available. I do want to emphasize that Olympia was good but Pasco wins the Gold.
