Mathew B.The U-Haul mobile app sucks...it wouldn't allow me to upload photos when checking the equipment back in. When I called the 800 number, as it was just after closing for the location itself, I was informed of a 50 min wait time...luckily after struggling for 15+ mins while on hold, I was able to check in with my mobile browser. Location staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient...will definitely be back...although maybe not relying on the app to return the equipment...appears the website is more reliable.
Patrick C.If you charge a dollar and change per mile, and I drive 39 miles how does that come to almost a 100 dollars, they where rud on my returned, and my gas gauge was less then what the paper said.

I was told 7 pm, Not once did anyone say " our computer shuts down at 6:50 so get here before then if you want us to check it in other wise YOU will have to have your phone with your to check it in yourself other wise you will be charge $20.00 for the staff to do it the next day. I argued the point that I was their before 7 pm and they should do their job and how stupid it is that their computer would shut down before close of business. The rude ignorant untrained get in your face punk Somoan kid had the STUPIDITY to call me a Karen. What a worthless individual taking up dead space.

Nicole M.Sprague location was fine - but dispatcher (?) young lady wanted me to divert pickup to Liberty Lake, further away from my move, because Sprague "didn't have the truck". That would've added mileage on the day. I called again, and she looked on the computer, and said "Oh, wait, there is a 26ft at Sprague location after all". Other folks might have done what she suggested, and gotten screwed over. I was also taking a bus to get to U-Haul, so Liberty Lake would've entailed a long walk in addition.

Then we were scheduled for pickup at 4 the next day, but they called at 3 to say they couldn't pick up pods until 3 days later. Now the 4 pods are taking up parking at the apartment taking up prime parking places. I-Haul needs to stick to their scheduled times!! Caused too mischief stress!!

The truck did the job and I got a clear breakdown of what the final costs were when I returned it, which did match up with the estimate I got ahead of time. There was a sign at the return area saying to wait with the vehicle, but we had to go in and let them know we arrived because they couldn't see us from the counter. That doesn't affect my rating, but it is something that could be improved.

Also due to homeless people coming into the facility they had to lock the doors at 7 pm we arrived at 6:45 thinking we had till 10 pm… if I did not have a garage I would have had an issue

Customer service was always great; when we rented, when I couldn't remember which unit, when I needed help "checking-in" and the loan of a broom and dustpan while checking out. I didn't stop the "auto-pay" promptly enough and it appears that they'll soon have my refund on it's way! Sorry to cause extra work. ¡Gracias!

This being stated, I would like to question why I got a Delinquent Fee notice for $24.99 on 11/14/2021 at 10:53 AM and then a payment reminder on the same day, 11/14/2021 at 12:49 AM; less than two hours later? After calling and waiting for what seemed a half hour, I was connected to what I assume was a call center because the phone number for my local U-Haul Storage dealer in Spokane Valley, Washington (Unit #1096) seems to be a main number and not specifically tied to my local one. I was told by the first lady I spoke to, that my Visa Card expired in October of 2019 and that was why I received the delinquent fee notice, whereupon I stated that I would like to dispute the late payment penalty. I was then transferred without notice of to whom or to what department I was transferred to and spoke with a gentleman with whom I updated my bankcard information. He told me there was nothing he could do because it was my responsibility to update my charge card information. Up until this November payment, my account has been debited every month since November of 2019 and I have received texts including autopayment notices and a rate increase but no notice that my card had expired two years earlier. I used to receive rent reminders on the first of every month up until November of 2018, when I received autopayment notices only. It is a bit disconcerting when I am given no notice that my scheduled payment has not been received and then given less than two hours to remedy the situation. Should whomever reads this have an inclination to do so, I would appreciate this text being forwarded to your Customer Relations department. I would like to dispute this charge but cannot locate the right channel(s) to do so. Gracias por considerarnos. Sincerely Yours, Wes Binkley

And didn't provide any explanation. Got a late charge even though I had auto pay turned on. Overall, I was less than pleased with the staff here. The facilities were fine.

In person, the processes are ineffective and confusing, and interactions take upwards of 20 minutes for operations that are streamlined and efficient at other businesses.

I want to talk to the manager to resolve the over charges. I have called several times to resolve this issue and can't seem to reach the manager. I'm very disappointed with the customer service.
