The front office/desk staff was efficient and friendly, but the trailer was filthy inside. The inside of the door was covered in a black and oily substance (most likely accumulated dirt and oil between the panels in the door). I rented the 6x12 trailer to protect a couch from the road grit in the back of my truck; unfortunately, I only made things more complicated for myself, as instead of just wrapping it up in the back of my truck, I had to line the inside of the trailer with cardboard and wrap the couch anyway. Very unhappy with being charged $15 for cleaning when it was dirty when I got it… and the automated return system (after answering that it needed cleaning) funnelled me to having to pay for it. I indicated that it was dirty on my pre-departure inspection, too, so will be contacting you guys for a refund on the cleaning!

The reservation people on the phone did not explain fully that when I asked for two movers they were not reserving them I had to go on line & do that myself. But they took the payment for the movers. When the movers cancelled out because there was no elevator in the building U haul did not take care of the refund. I had to call an 800 number to get my refund. I held for over 10 minutes but finally did get through & they said they would refund my money. I don't have it yet but they claim that is the credit card company's fault.

Have been using this location for years. Only gets better with time. Staff are friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. Never had a problem here and they were able to fill a request another site failed to fill on short notice. Well runðŸ'ðŸ'

On-line check in is great but it efficiency is lost when you have to wait in line at the pick-up location for 45 minutes. If you wish to have people use on-line check in then make it worth their while when they attend the pick-up location.

Several customers left unhappy the day I picked up the van. Huge lineup, Equipment missing, location switches and in my case the vehicle was boxed in by another 26' van. I had to wait again just to ask them to get it out for me. Took me 45 min to leave the store.

USB plugs for cellphones would be handy. The interior cup holders in the dash where dirty with split beverages in them. They could be cleaned out way better. The air bag on the passenger side above the glove box had a split in the dash and nothing was mentioned about it. I took pictures of it right after I noticed it, before I left your parking lot. Other than that, everyone staff member that i came in contact with was very professional and polite.

Better communication from staff and quicker service in general. The person that assisted me tried to charge me twice for something that was already paid for, was unable to answer any of the questions I had for them, and moved at a frustratingly slow pace. On top of that, they didn't properly direct me to the vehicle I was meant to pick up, which caused me to wander around the lot for several minutes just to figure out which was mine.

Last ride renters left a bit of a mess in the trailer but Uhaul was good to me and also allowed me to extend for only the cost of the extra rental (no other fees) when I got delayed by a day!

The first trailer I was issued had broken lights, they caught that right away and swapped the trailer, unfortunately the person attaching the trailer was more focused on the lights working then properly securing the new trailer because it was not tightened onto the ball joint at all. When attempting to load the trailer the second I stepped on it the weight shifted, ball joint went up and I fell off the trailer.

This is the worst U-Haul experience ever First off when I got there I don't know her name I think she's Jamaican or African no mask and then she finally put on her mask she had to look for my reservation when I gave her my name and number and then I had to scan my ID and my drivers I told her it doesn't work she made me do it two more times before she realized it doesn't work I've rented U-Haul‘s before max 20 minutes in and out this took an hour and when I was done she told me the Truck was parked in front and then she comes out goes it's across the street and I Astor I'm renting a truck not a U-Haul van and then she had to get another person to help and then they told me it was behind the building I only needed the truck For two hours when I came back I gave her the keys she's like go outside and they'll deal with you and she had no mask on when I dropped off the car for the front they tried to rip me off $20 for gas saying I didn't refill good thing I have a habit of recording speedometers and all damage to the rentals I showed it to him and he says oh you have a video so that makes me believe they've been trying to rip off people even more I will not recommend this place and I will put up more reviews about this location

It took 1.5 hrs to sign up and get the truck, the information about gas and mileage in the sheet was wring, dirty truck !! The staff tried to help, but the uhaul system is soo crappy.

The manager and staff at 111th Ave were very efficient and helpful. The storage facility was immaculate and secure. I was treated well and the process of renting and returning vehicles was fast and simple. I'll definitely be recommending u-haul from now on. Great job!!!

I attempted to pick up my truck as scheduled at 9pm. I followed the check out steps and when I unlocked my key box, the keys were not there. I spent 45 minutes on hold with the 24 hour customer service line only to be told I would have to wait till the next morning to get my truck. When I made my second trip to the location the customer service agents tried to tell me that they had placed the keys in the key box even though they were on the peg board behind them. Instead of apologizing for the error, they tried to make it seem like I was at fault. They did say the rental was extended for the time that was missed but I'm not sure if it was ever inputted.

I felt empathy for the counter staff having to work with an antiquated system. Your IT technicians really need to work out the problems with respect to your online exlresd sign in and the time it takes while a customer is waiting fir the email or text to complete transactions.

The front desk line ups are very very slow. Only one counter person on the front desk. I rated you low because of this. The counter person on both my resent rentals where very good. It is amazing they are still with you given the number of people in the line plus fielding phone calls on top. The drivers license photo system was slower than The counter person taking a scan. Not at all impressed by the time lost trying to figure this system out. Not customer friendly. Why make customer do this every time they rent? Like is said I have rented a few times lately so why do the drivers license step over and over. This should be saved for a year. 6-mtgs for sure. I really appreciate that your companies services. the employee who hooked up my Uhaul trailer did so in a dangerous manner. after leaving the Uhaul location with trailer I was on my way to my destination and I was waved down on the highaway and thank god someone did because the chains were hooked up incorrectly and were dragging creating sparks that could have lit up our vehicle and trailer we could have died!!!!! we are so lucky! you should really discipline and retrain this associate because this is not acceptable if we weren't so lucky we would probably not be here

The guy who gave me my truck wrote the truck had 1/2 tank of gas, but it was almost on empty when I got in. I had to take it straight to the gas station. Lucky I took a picture of the dash before I left, because they tried to charge me for the fuel level he wrote.

A pipe in the ceiling leaked all over our patio cushions and stained them. One of the staff here (short, long brown hair, worked in the evening on October 21) was very rude. She did not have a good customer service attitude, we felt that when we went to the counter we were an annoyance or inconvenience to her. She did not explain things clearly.

Well for starters make sure the units are in working order before there picked up and when you claim by going online to get the reservation underway and save time by going in store that this actually happens!! It took me over 45 min to get out the door with my trailer.. Was not impressed!!

I don't expect all experiences to be bad, but it was not good. They couldn't find my reservation so we had to do a new one. They were going to give me a smaller unit than I wanted. I was told before I got there that the 2nd floor was drive up and it was not. And it took about 45 minutes in the office to set this all up. And they made me buy a circular lock even though I had just bought a U-Haul key lock.

I've used u-haul a few times in the last few years, and the service and facility is clean and the customer service is friendly and helpful. What is needed are more carts, especially on busy days like the weekends, first and last days of the month.

Unit was not ready and there was no lock in the unit as I was told there would be for check in. I spent an hour trying to find someone to aid me when finally the yard guy, Perry, was kind enough to grab a lock for me and get me set up after hours. However this should not have been the case. The building is full of broken glass and garbage everywhere. Not well maintained.
