The women who checked us in was very rude and aggressive. She had dealt with someone earlier Whom she deemed rude (I didn’t think the customer was being rude). When we approached the counter she threw her phone and was angry towards her coworker talking about the interaction. I found it highly unprofessional and even though it is a stressful time and she felt the customer before us was being rude, she didn’t have to treat us that way.

Took 30 minutes to finally get the truck that had been reserved. Apparently two people working the front, although only one was around for 20 minutes, and there were zero people at the front for 10 minutes. Will definitely try mobile pickup next time.

When dropping off we had to wait quite a while and I would not have minded that but the lady that was “helping” unhook wanted the trailer backed into a a location that was impossible with a pickup. She then wanted to try and get it backed into another tight location and I almost hit my truck on the post. I had enough and put a halt to this gong show. And said I will drop it here and help with the cart to push it back. She got ignorant and said if I do that she would void the contract and accuse me of abandoning the trailer. I said go ahead as not sure I am abandoning it on their yard. Thank goodness a young man had some common sense and helped me drop it in an acceptable location. With the ladies attitude and rudeness I will never recommend or use that location

As a property manager, we use UHaul regularly to move furniture between sites. Recently, some of the more convenient locations have been removed (e.g., 11905 111ave) so we used the 11120 154st location. Nicole was incredibly helpful, in person, by phone, and via email as we needed to extend our rental (several times). She was helpful, responsive, and made our experience as a customer feel easy and welcoming. Thank you very much, Nicole! UHaul is an excellent and affordable service.

I did the booking online in another location but unfortunately when I went to pick up the truck, I have been told that it is not available and transfer me to another location and different time, I was very disappointed. I think I should get a refund

Make sure you are not charging people extra. That's what happened to me. Wasting time to get money back for what I was not charged for. The morning clerk was very rude as well. Not going to this location ever again.

The place for dropping off keys after hours is very poorly marked and difficult to find. The icon on the app shows an orange mailbox, meanwhile the destination for dropping off keys here is a slot in the door (resembles nothing of the icon). This is extremely Hard to find at night and after a heavy snow fall, especially with other cars parked out front obscuring the small sign on the door. Had to go around the building 2-3 times before spotting the sign, even then by pure fluke. The car also was not initially equipped with dolly or blankets as i had requested and paid for, so I needed to go back after picking up the truck to retrieved these items form the front desk.

UHaul Corporation is too greedy for the people it claims to serve. I live in my van and I had to spend $188 per month to store items in a 10x10 unit. There was never any night time security, no special janitorial cleaning and the whole building was designed for a desert like country. There is no toilet in the second building so one has to close up their unit and head over to the first building to toilet. We have snow, sleet, rain, heavy snow and freezing rain that falls in our lands. Your buildings have no protective overhang roofing to shield one from those weather elements and especially overhanging and dangerous roof icicles which can kill a person if the ice falls on them. You have no protective shielding for the computer card entry units from those same elements. Your company continuously increases rental charges for long term tenants and fail to reward the same with lower rates. You are in fact a company that lives to profit from poor service, poor design and greedy rates for storage rentals. You ought to experience what I and others have experienced.

The exterior of the trailer was dirty and there was a burned out light on the top of the trailer. It was during a time when the roads were very dirty so that is acceptable, but all lights should be in working order

-always had trouble with the monthly payments, was locked out of storage locker monthly which was very inconvenient. Every error was on the side of uhaul -the area where the unloading zone for the storage lockers were was always totally covered in ice. Looks like it was barely salted or cared for -when I urgently needed access to my storage locker and was locked out, the following day I tried to call to sort it out at around 6pm, still an hour left of operating. Called the store the entire hour and NO ONE could answer. Just want to the call centre -seems like no one cares about their work here, unmotivated, not caring? Not sure but it was never a super pleasant experience.

The location staff were great, however, there was confusion regarding our drop-off location, which caused us to have to drive back and forth quite a bit. Though U-haul said we would receive compensation, we still have not been contacted regarding this.

As a long time customer your standing policy has always been bring the truck back full of gas. The truck i rented yesterday had just over half a tank of gas and i ended up putting $20 more fuel than i should have. Go back to your old policy it erases any doubt and eliminates any issues.

Front desk attendant was not friendly. She was abrupt and her mannerism to the lot attendant was not good in front of a customer. If you don’t like your job, then quit...or maybe that’s just the way all U-Haul employees are and are trained because I have yet to come across a friendly one. Equipment was not cleaned. I know I rented an open trailer in winter but at least sweeper shovel out the snow and ice.

Well for starters my storage locker has been mismanaged from the day I rented one. Every month my PAD wouldn’t work and I’d be locked out because of no fault of my own. This experience with renting the truck was fine but everything else associated with the location has been very subpar.

Thoroughly check your trailers, especially the electrical, prior to renting them out. I started at the 50th Street location (bad electrical connection in the only unit that U-Haul had there, was sent to the West End location where I experienced exactly the same thing! Next, I was referred to the Winterburn location; a place I chose not to go to given that my needs were in Sherwood Park. However, the people were friendly.

Also, being a regular renter of your cargo vans I find it a waste, a true waste of my time to have them call someone I know for what, verification that I’m standing in front of them.
