Tim D.I had 3 kids in the car. Pregnant tired from moving. I asked the workers to please let me throw away 1 large box with trash that was left from my long move. none of the associates would help. The lady cleaning the uhaul was rude. I was asked to pay to throw away the trash. it was 1 box from a customer who just used you guys??? I'm exhausted from moving and was now helped. I dropped the box and food got all over me. again no help I had to put the trash in my car with the kids in the back seat. that to me seems unacceptable. horrible customer care. will never use uhaul again

WALTER C.My storage unit was locked in the middle of my move and the city I came from didn't have any uhaul stores open on weekends so I didn't realize the storage facility was open Saturday or Sunday. so i didn't get to move everything out of my unit and will have to throw away whatever is too large to fit in my car, like my bed couch. And naturally I got charged for the weekend so i ended up paying $500 instead of 200. The extra 300 was for and supplies for the new house, that's not happeninggroceries anymore Maybe next month I will be able to buy food, toilet paper and what not. Deciding that killing myself wasn't a good idea was probably the wrong choice

I decided to move out all my stuff and leave as a customer because since management changed a few months ago the service went out the door. From threatening to remove my "Privileges" for a rock that was holding up a door to smoking right in front of office door while her kids play in areas trafficked by movers and moving vehicles. I will not be using uhaul for storage ever again due to these experiences nor will I recommend this location.

THOMAS L.The staff at the West Chandler location was really great but that was where the great experience ended. After that, it was nothing short of a frustrating, disappointing and unprofessional process. Better communication and training for the call center customer service staff, beyond standard answers, when a U-Box is late on a guaranteed delivery date. Everyone was nice but each person had a different answer and I made more calls and sent more emails for information than I should have. In the end, I tracked the U-Box through the shippers website myself...and knew it had finally arrived at the final destination before I received the confirmation email from U-Haul. Not sure that I would ever use this service again, it was that bad. The whole process should be re-evaluated and fixed.

David H.The check in staff is more interested in having conversations with each other than the customers. Basic customer service dictates that you acknowledge the customer first rather then making them wait for an employee's personal conversation to end. Vehicle return staff were more interested in their personal phones than the customer who needed direction, which caused wasted time and effort on our part to move the vehicle. When asked about this, the employee was disrespectful and dismissive.

Marla P.i received a text saying the pick up location was down town mesa. I also checked the night before confirming that location. After a 30 min. drive I arrived at the Downtown Mesa Az location and was told the truck i reserved was not there. I was told to drive another 30 min. to a u haul that was 10 minutes from my starting point .So after wasting 1.5 hours pf loading time I finally had the truck. The move was uneventful and the 20 ft truck performed well. The people at the 6190 location told me to drop the truck off in Sierra Vista AZ when done. The tech gave me two locations to drop the truck but when I arrived at the 3637 location the attendant would not take the truck. I m 73 and had been moving the household goods for two days and was beat.....I did not like being told by the tech at 3637 hwy 92, that he had no room ( this was a medium sized uhaul so i doubted his story. I was told by the tech to take it down the road and drop off at a Auto Shop that does uhaul on contract. That auto shop was not either of of the two locations to drop that I was given at the 6190 store in Chandler. The mix up on trucks to begin with plus the changing story at drop off really irritated me after two days of loading and unloading. I have used Uhaul exclusively the last few years and have never had such time sucking issues with you guys.. Would you try and not have this happen with your trusted customers? s0
AUGUST N.The original U-Haul location for pick-up was at Priest and Elliot in Tempe. Unfortunately, when I arrived, they said they didn't have the trailer I reserved. I don't understand why that happened. Thankfully, the Chandler location had what I reserved and the drive there to get it was not too far.
BART B.I was charged for 2 days and I was only a couple hours late for the return. We have had crazy rain here in AZ and this caused the delay since we had an open trailer. All your other stores have worked with me and have been understanding. I will never rent from this location again. I will say the lady that checked us out on the first day was very friendly and great customer service.
KAREN P.We were charged $8 for fuel. We literally went 4 miles and you said we used 2 gallons of gas. Doesn't seem right. All else was good.

So, we left to get the traler and being under the stress of moving. We went to unload. Well holly cahoes. Gate wouldn't work when we applieed our number even with the help of a employee. Then after driving around gor 20 minutes decided there was no such unnit. The the employee took us back to the office to find out those hadnt been set up yet. So the lady so upset I didnt get her name. Said she could set us up on a inside unit. So, she did well it increased my rental cost So. I.m not a happy camper at all. But last minute need I had to go with it. I think yoy need Train your employees

I vacated my storage unit on the 22nd. I asked what more do I need to do as my unit was cleared out. The staff said to leave the door up/open, and they'll take care of it. Following the Christmas holiday I received an email notifying me of a late fee. I wasn't pleased with this, but having called corporate and then speaking with the manager, the matter was resolved. I was set to leave another five star review; but then Sunday I received a message from my brother who was concerned about a late fee and monthly rental charge. This upset me greatly as now my Emergency contact was sent a bill. An Emergency contact is not someone who's a co-sign to a rental agreement. It's someone who's to be notified if something should happen to me... injury, or death. Really?! You've sent my brother a bill? Any idea of what harassment is? I really should stick you with a one star rating, but unlike U-Haul sending my brother a bill, I'm a touch more considerate, understanding, and forgiving. It would be wise that a handwritten apology be sent to my brother. Is that asking too much for someone to do as an adult, and kind human being? Beware all others now when filling out that section of a rental agreement. Guard your contacts from any nuisance correspondence that will result in unnecessary drama, and stress.
