Communication was completely off had removed half of olthe truck to later find out that the storage was up 4 doors and someone had to come and unlock the elevator for me and my movers so we had to reload that truck and move to another arra on the busy street. They couldn't find my reservation so that was time consuming and with the storage closing at 7pm it was already going on 2pm and had some more items to load on the truck. The employees really need to communicate with customers a whole lot better than they did with me. I am not... an impatient person just like things to be on a time basis.trena d. | First Impressions

Saw a roach as soon as I entered to facility . Wasn't notified the unit was very high up. How is one supposed to move furnishings and appliances 10 feet above them, on the 2nd floor with no lift in sight. So we did get it changed fairly easily so I'll give you that , but to all the way across the street , where most of the lifts were out of order, so we had to wait on a group with a whole house full to move. Handle billing errors quickly, and professionally. Train your employees better, so that billing errors don't occur on the fist place. I was charged over 7 times my quoted reservation, and am still waiting on a correction and apology. This error has made my moving experience more unpleasant than it needed to be. I reserved a truck online and it was almost given away to another girl because she was there first. She'd forgotten her ID and we were at the counter at the same time and there was definite tension between the two employees about which one of us should get the truck. It was uncomfortable for me, but I was also stressed about possibly NOT getting the truck that I reserved online. I live closer to other U-Haul locations, but drove to this one to get the specific truck I wanted. What's the point of reserving equipment if you aren't guaranteed to get it? It's not the employees fault, they seemed to encounter this all the time and it's incredibly frustrating for everyone involved.Jillian F.

Had several issues moving in and out. When we arrived one of our promised units was locked (joint units). Apparently a maintenance man left his stuff in there and they had no way to open it for us. After moving all of our stuff into one of the units they suggested we moved our things to 2 separate units down the hall. Luckily we were able to get that resolved and keep one of our current units but we had to talk to several people before we were able to. On one of our last trips moving in the elevator broke down between floors. No one from Uhaul was available so we had to call 911. The fire department had to pry open the doors and carry us and our stuff out. From there we had to carry all of our things up the stairs because we had no where to put them. When moving out, someone parallel parked a 26' truck in front of all 3 garage access doors. Their unit was apparently locked, but they wouldn't move or take any of their things out of the elevator which was just sitting still for over an hour. After asking them politely to move they yelled at us. Luckily a Uhaul employee made them leave, but it took us 2+ extra hours to move our stuff out. Our truck rental was fine, but the storage unit experience was terrible.Danielle S. | Overall Experience
The drop off area is pretty tight and congested. I had a very large truck and felt extremely uncomfortable parking it where they wanted me to in the return lane. Employee kind of acted annoyed that i wasnt a professional driver with such a large vehicleScott Q.

My father is up in age and has a hard time walking and up and down with steps. So the African American young lady didn't know where to send up to see the United that we had just rented out. Then she had us go across the street and look for it without actually finding out for us. My father was out of breath and was bending over trying to walk to see the freaking unit!!!!!! only to find out it was next door to where she was. Then we got stuck in the elevator for 15mins. All in all not the best rental experience. We booked at one location and were notified that we would need to pick up in a different location. When we went to pick it up there was a lot of damage on the vehicle that was unmarked and we did not want to take it as it was. We were then moved to the Gilbert location and for drop off they also changed our location and we had to call and get that changed back. All in all it was not a very well coordinated effort by U-Haul.Tim F.

This U-Haul is run like a dream. We had a reservation and there was a long line but we were in and out in a truck in about 10 minutes! returning is was a breeze too (luckily they reminded me to fill up the tank). I would recommend this location to everyone in the greater Cincinnati area. I'm paying for service and I should be able to access my belongings whenever necessary and that isn't possible. I work as well and being that you have cameras every where it's as if I can't be trusted. Yet I can trust you to hold my stuff. Staff dealt as fast as they could with a long, long line of renters. The latch on the back left door of my van was broken and that nearly got the door stuck in a wide open position. With some effort, we were able to get it unstuck and close the door. I reported the issue over chat and am glad I didn't have to wait for a repair truck to come by. The manager was very helpful and personable, but that's all I can say positively about this place. I had an issue every time I went due to the elevator construction. Because of the construction, you could only access storage during office hours, it took an extremely long time to get loads up and down because I had to use the manual elevator. They are understaffed. The staff was friendly, but the facility is essentially a construction zone. DO NOT STORE HERE UNTIL THE NEW ELEVATOR IS INSTALLED.Ellen D. | Overall Experience
There has been a problem every time I visit this location. They also charged me $150 for â€œdamagesâ€ because I forgot to fill out the text link they send when you rent a vehicle. Something I thought was going to cost around $40 ended up being $250. This place is a joke. They have awful customer service and when it's busy it can take forty five minutes in line before you talk to anyone. Would never recommend this place. One elevator was difficult w all the people moving and since the 15 ft truck I scheduled wasn't there I had to use a 10 ft which resulted in more trips and more mileage. Then a longer time waiting to get the items to the 4th floor. I also had to buy two locks because I didn't know I was getting two storage rentals. I thought it would be one big area. Not as advertised- the photos led me believe I could back the truck right up to an outside storage unit. Instead I had to unload my stuff in the street and then take them through a maze of a warehouse, up an elevator to a storage unit that, while the spatial dimensions were correct, had too small of a door to get things in. An hour later they found a unit with the kind of door advertised and on the first floor, but which still required the maze to get to. This is after a 7 hour haul, tired, expecting drive up storage. I was thrilled will my UHAUL experience. The unit was 100 feet from the loading dock which made it so convenient. The cost was lower than expected and the first month free was a total surprise.
