The fuel charge was a shock when I returned the van as I was assessed a fee of over $40 for using the van for less than 5 hrs. and driving less than 75 miles. Outrageous charge...classic buyer beware.

Service was extremely rude and kept talking over us as we tried to ask questions. The truck cabin was a mess and had someone's ash tray remains all over the seats. Had to deep clean it ourselves prior to hitting the road. Take your business elsewhere.

I reserved a 4'X8' LOW Utility Trailer and had to take a 5'X8' TALL Trailer, I didn't have to pay for an “UPGRADE” which really wasn't what I reserved Months before. The 5'X8' TALL Trailer was to big and somewhat of an inconvenience. I have two more reservations for the rest of the summer and HOPE to receive what I reserved.

The receipt provided should include the rental total, not just zeroes for what I wasn't charged. I have no idea what rental actually was. I was quoted one price, when i.picked up the equipment t I was charged a different price (less) but the credit was dropped so it looks like I was charged the original quoted price even though I have a receipt that says I was charged the lesser price. The receipt on turn in just says 0's for everything.

The 26ft gmc box truck I rented in need of repair. The check engine light is on and the steering wheel is way off center , under load the front of the truck starts bouncing around 45mph at times. Also when applying the braked there is a noticeable air leak or vacuum leak. I am a experienced driver so I was able to operate it but I strongly suggest the truck to be put into service for repair

The original 20' truck was not available and so they wanted me to use 26' which would it fit in my neighborhood They did find me a smaller truck, but after hauling 1 load 9 miles the door stuck and there was no other truck available I spent $60 for using the truck 9 miles, made my move quite hard that day Not sure you should offer reservations if you don't have the trucks that were reserved I've been a long time customer but this has me thinking about trying someone else next time I need a truck

Let the person know it has to be refilled with gas. I was given the truck with it under a quarter of a tank… I traveled 22 miles total and I was charged $30 for you to refill the tank. Just think that's a little stupid.

I opened the door to my unit and it was covered in mouse feces and dead bugs. A mouse trap is in the corner. It is incredibly disgusting. There was a hole in wall at base board level that probably lets the vermin and insects in.

Everything with the truck was fine. However the lock that was on it was so stiff and rested I could not get it to open. It took me 45 minutes of making sure it was a light right and pushing and pulling and tugging on that lock handle before I got it open. I called customer service and was left on hold for 15 minutes before anyone answered. And when the young man did answer he hung up on me. The next lady talked me through getting a lock open it still didn't go through took an additional 10 minutes of manipulating the lot to get it open that was such a big inconvenience for me I lost an hour of my time and I feel I should be compensated or somehow granted a discount for the inconvenience

I did not receive any of my equipment in the uhaul. I had requested two dollys and moving blankets and did not receive any. I was still charged for use of 1 dolly that I did not receive. I was also charged a credit card fee, despite me using a debit card.

Deplorable customer service; I made my reservation online, and just so happen, I noticed that website stated if your vehicle is not there and ready for you, Uhaul would give you $50. I made my reservation and the Vernon Odom location in Akron, I get there on time to secure the vehicle, but after 20-min of waiting, I'm informed they can not locate the keys for the vehicle. At that point, I brought up the fact that they did have the vehicle available as promised and that I expect them to honor what was the state with my reservation. The so-called assistant manager stated the vehicle is available and began to debate that I don't qualify for the $50. Stating I could go to another location and get the vehicle I reserved with them. She (Tierra) rudely blurted out an address and just walked out the door. I ask for contact info for a manager. It was given by Tasha as well as writing the address out. I informed (Tierra?) that Uhaul is a large national company, and I was surprised at the displayed deplorable customer service. I was be sharing this poor experience with others.

For the safety of your employees as well as taking care of customers, enough staff on site. Clean the trucks before giving them out-both the cab & the truck box were filthy and had odors.

The rear door of the truck would not open . After going back to the UHaul office and the guy there did get it opened but it wasn't an all so easy pull. Plus we used Moving Help Labor Services at accellone@ gmail . com. The first set of guys were involved in an auto accident. The manager/ owner called and said there would be two other guys coming at 1:00. First of all that put us behind about 3 hrs. Next thing I get a phone call from one of the movers and he said he was at 12181 Bk Massillon Rd Orrville Ohio 44667 . That is the address where the storage unit is that they were moving their stuff into. The Owner called me and said that was the only address he had. I told him more than once 300 E Exchange St Apt 3 Akron Ohio 44304 AND They lived above the store called Starz and right beside Akron U, AND take Kling St to the back of the building where they stairs are. I also told him that there is a FedEx right across from the parking lot where the UHaul will be parked. He claims he never heard that from me. He said he would send me a copy of what he had written down He asked for both addresses even though the guys weren't helping to unload the truck. JUST 2 hrs of helping to load. From the time the guys got there they kept asking for the paper. They were only there 1 HOUR not 2. So since everything was 3 hrs late and with 2 loads from Akron to Orrville and unloading after dark was something that should've had to happen . The Owner said he doesn't get any info accept name, email and phone # . He sent me a picture of the paper he used to jot down the info. He has the storage for address with apt 3 and second floor. I told him to look at the order from UHaul and he said they NEVER get that information from UHaul. Maybe you need to send that to your customer's. It says LOCATION-AKRON NOT ORRVILLE. I request a refund , that was the day from Hexx.

At first, my uhaul experience was a nightmare.. I was sent to the pickup location 199 Massillon rd in Akron OH and THEY WERE CLOSED, there was a car in the parking lot so we knocked on the glass door, and an employee came to the door only to say they aren't open..we explained that we had a pickup for 7am and she said “no we don't do uhaul” we pointed to the uhaul signs all over the building and she said she wasn't going to help us. Luckily we called another location who was kind enough to call around and see if any else had an Large/Xlarge uhaul we could pickup same day and we were sent to the location 237 Fountain street also in Akron OH , the young lady was helpful and the building was clean and well equipped. I recommend this location for anyone in the Akron area.

It was not wiped down, and prior client trash was still in the truck. My biggest issue is that I had selected another location to pick up the truck that was much closer and it kept reverting it back the Fountain Street location. When I called the 800 number, I was on hold for 20 minutes only to be told I would have to call another number. The online feature did not give an explanation as to why I could not pick up at the 2000 Block of S Main street 44319. I could have possibly made time or truck adjustments. Everyone I talked to were very polite and respectful.

Two people working but only one providing customer service. The other employee was more interested in cleaning Ad distracting the employee who had a line of customers waiting to pick up their vehicle to accomplish their task. We were on a schedule and because of delays we were put behind. Customer service is not what to be. Pay prompt attention to your customers.

On the phone the day I made my reservation I was told insurance was $10.00 and the rental was $19.00 plus mileage. I was charged nearly $60.00 and only drove the cargo van approximately 15 miles. I don't understand the additional charges.

The staff is just plain not very friendly. There's just no way around it. From set up with the storage unit, stopping in to be by boxes and other supplies, to finally closing out the unit when I was done. They're just not the slightest bit friendly. Not greeted when I walk up, no "thank you", and simply nothing but the bare minimum in any interaction. It fascinated me every time just how unfriendly they were. I've used other facilities in the area and did not have the same experience, so it's definitely unique to this one.

I waited for 20 minutes to drop of the truck. Only one person was working. I also bought propane from there and I had three 20 lbs thanks I wanted filled. I only got 9.80 gallons all together of propane for all 3 tanks. They were not filled all the way up.

Workers were rude and didn't even walk out with me to the truck to verify witch truck or to check if it was in good condition. Truck did not shift to next gear properly. It was very hard to drive on highway bc it took way to long for it to get up to 55 mpr. Then worker didn't put my information right on my order and my account said I didn't have any equipment rented online. Then I called and was hold for 25 minutes. A worker answered but never said his name and was slurring his words and he then put me back on hold after I told him I was trying to return the truck. I couldn't get any help after that. This had to be the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I will never use uhaul ever again.

The 6x12 trailer is not 6x12. I arrived to pick up my item, and found that the opening was only 57 inches!!! That's not even 5 feet!!! The trailer was unusable. I returned it to the nearest location. They told me I had to take it back to the place I got it from or pay double. I didn't get it from that place because it was close, I got it from the only uhaul that had a 6x12 trailer in the area! That is absolutely insane. I want a refund, frankly, just to compensate me for having to run around with a useless trailer that is advertised as something else. What a scam.

I wrote a pretty scathing google review of this place recently. I'll defer to that. Staff that won't greet customers. I went in there yesterday and the office was empty of employees for ten whole minutes. Probably the worst customer service I've ever had. Was told like a week ago that mold on my stuff I'd had in storage for a year was my problem. Offered no assistance. Told me to call RepWest and the employee didn't even know what it was. Completely inarticulate when it came to specifics of their job.
