Horrible communication and did not have proper location after guaranteed. The customer service rep did not state that picking up at a different location would also mean dropping off at the same location, this should have been communicated. Calling 2 hours before the expected pick-up time for a move is inexcusable, especially going out of the way, which made me take time off work to get to the location. The manager did reduce the mileage charge to .69 a mile, however, doing the math it actually cost more to travel with mileage and gas, along with hours of time wasted. I will not use this service again and calling the corporate office to see if we can reduce the cost of this hectic ordeal.Chris H.

I originally reserved a truck from 9am to the same day 3pm. We realized we needed more time so I got ahold of uhaul through online chat and asked if it was possible to extend my reservation a couple kore hours. The agent said no problem you now can drop it off next day by 8:45am. Didn't mention there would be an additional fee and I assumed there wasn't going to be because it's still within a 24 hour period for the rental. I went on with our moving then dropped off the truck clean and with gas where it was supposed to be then they told me I'm charged for another day and said I was late when I returned the truck by 8:30am. The worker looked confused when I told him I had gotten approval to extend the rental and couldn't figure out why I was charged an entire extra day. For that I could've kept the truck a few more hours and completed a lot more moving. Not great business at all. Very pissed about the extra day charge when I dropped it off first thing in the morning with approval. Never again.Christopher R.

The wait time was long as there was only one person inside, Julia, as the other person, a gentleman, was trying to handle both outside and inside support. However, Julia was so nice and welcoming and I could tell she was trying to help all of us as fast as she could. The gentleman checking me in at the end, was also friendly and helpful. Like most places, that need employees, that was the only thing that I found could be improved. Possibly signage and street correction on where to enter and exit too...you can only go right or left, but you have to enter going straight for drop off. Not sure if this could be fixed, but I could see this improving efficiency and safety of this location. Thank you for allowing this feedback.Julie B.
Your service was great. However the recommended loader service, Nick's , was less than stellar. The lead for Nick's was very rude . Did not introduce himself, just started to be critical to what we had already done. He said we would make to Washington without the load being a mess. He was wrong about that. When picking up equipment such as a trailer on the back of the property, have employees there to hook you up! We waited over 20 min. for someone. The entire back lot was deserted. We had to go back around the front and inside to find out what was going on. Then when we returned to the back, your employee came out and helped someone that had just pulled up to pick up their trailer, so we waited AGAIN. When a person has helpers waiting at home. this was frustrating. More organization and better customer service would have improved our experience. Would I recommend this location? Horrible experience. I was VERY unimpressed by your employee, Matthew the manager. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't friendly either, and I got the impression he could care less about helping me get into my unit, because I came in 10 minutes prior to closing. I didn't have anyone from the office to help me figure out the two terminals needed to get into the storage facility. When I finally got to my unit on the third floor, there was somebody else's lock on it! Went to office, and it was closed up tight. One of the people coming out of the storage facility who rents there, said I should have had someone show me how to get into my unit! They sent me off with a tank almost on empty just to find that after I completely load the truck and fill it with gas, to find that there's a hole in the tank and all the gas I put in it went right out onto the gas station lot. Honestly, I always have a horrible experience with U-Haul. Not one person apologized for the huge inconvenience and I had to drive the truck with gas leaking and the smell in the cab. Uhaul's concept that pickup locations are interchangeable is very frustrating. The last two times I've "reserved" a Uhaul, I have weeks later been sent to a different location (45 minutes away). The two people in line in front of me were experiencing the same thing and were very frustrated as well. Customers should be able to plan ahead, without someone assuming that an alternate pickup location works just fine for them. A call/text IS made to the customer, but you can basically take it or leave it at that point - your original "reservation" was not actually a reservation.Brian S.

Trailer had some significant damage and taillight out. Could have gotten me a citation. Location had the slowest counter of all uHaul locations I've visited. Took about 45-1 he to rent the trailer and it was reserved. One counter person up front and a line of about 10 people to serve. Camden and Orlando assisted me and they were both friendly and very professional. The only thing I noticed, because I recently had total hip replacement surgery, is the fact that there is no handicap parking in front of the building or close to the building and no handicap ramp. There should definitely be those two items I mentioned there. I had a little difficulty getting up on the curb. My only negative comment is regarding renting a vehicle to move out. Even though I made reservations weeks in advance UHAUL could not guarantee a truck would be available Bell/Grand so I might have to go to another facility to get a truck which would be extra time and cost. That helped in my decision to hire outside movers to empty my unit. This survey was in spanish. I can find no way to change language even if there were I couldn't read it. Thats exactly how U-Haul has done business with me in 2021. I have used U-Haul since 2017. Even though they do not have competitive rates. This rental experience has been a complete NIGHTMARE. While in the hospital for a serious illness. I cancelled my rental and sent my children to remove items from storage. I called spoke to customer BAD service cancelled the rental and thought how easy. I was promised a call to confirm. Still in the hospital I lost track of time... NO call was ever received, or message left to confirm. 3 calls later when I finally reached the facility I again explained that I had canceled storage and had not received a confirmation call. Then I was told I could only cancel in person. I was never told this initially but again I explained that I was hospitalized and COULD NOT appear in person and that the storage was emptied well within the billing period, I was then told to hold and that this would be confirmed. I waited on hold more than 30 minutes in silence. No ONE CAME BACK TO THE PHONE. i hung and called again. I am so angry at this time nurses are asking me to calm down. I am irate but I explain again to the CSR and she takes my message and promises I woul get a phone call from the manager. I waited 2 DAYS AGAIN no call. In the mean time I receive a bill with a late charge for the same storage room I had been trying to CANCEL FOR A WEEK OR MORE. This entire experience has been deplorable. Finally I call customer service one more time and I was advised there was no record of an account. I still don't believe them. I'd rather THROW ITEMS AWAY than to deal with U-Haul ever again. I would like to rate the negative 10 if I could, particularly on the way they treat customers. And they increased there charges for awful customer service. The staff was nice, courteous, and helpful. They helped me with renting my storage unit and changes I needed to make. However, getting my Uboxes brought up to the storage unit was a nightmare. I had to reschedule after the first attempt because they weren't brought up. The 2nd time we had to wait over an hour before the first of three boxes were brought up. After we unloaded the box I had to call the manager to find out where the other two were. He handled it and the other two boxes came up without incident.Michele S. | First Impressions

The door to the unit was stuck for awhile. The helper finally got it open. I came back with boxes later and sprayed some lubricant so it works ok now.Bill l. | First Impressions

It was the WORST experience ever. From getting locked out of my unit for non-payment when I was enrolled in auto pay, to getting my email wrong twice, to the complete and utter failure of getting lights on in my hallway after repeatedly asking for it to be fixed. I went into the office no less than five times over about a two month period. Each time I was told it would be taken care of and it never was. This facility is the WORST and I will be sure to advise anyone of this if they are considering renting a unit. Just awful.Karen L. | Overall Experience
