It was my first time moving into self storage, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised at this location. Purchasing, check in, and access was simple and secure both for pedestrian and cars (you can pull right into a covered loading dock for self storage). I purchased a climate controlled locker and was surprised how clean and well lit the facility was. Although my unit was on the 2nd floor, the elevator worked smoothly and there were wheeled carts available to borrow. I was impressed to find a poison control box in my storage unit too. I enjoyed how the entrance to self storage is located close to the front, rather than the back of other self storage facilities I've seen. The only small inconvenience were the steps / ledge at the loading dock for smaller/van-sized vehicles. There was not a lot of room to move large furniture and it required lifting from the van to the ledge at chest level. More room and a ramp would have been ideal, but with 2 or more people it is not a problem. Although there was a bit of a wait (Sunday) the day I moved in, all representatives were very pleasant and helpful, and the general manager was accommodating when I requested a unit on a lower floor. They were also helpful when I was unsure about what size storage locker to purchase. All in all, I had a very positive experience and an optimistic about leaving my personal belongings at this facility.

Please rent the vehicles full of gas, so they can be returned full. Asking a customer to return a vehicle with a 7/16 full gas tank is rediculous.

booked for 830, confirmed for 830, was told to wait until 9 when we got there, didnt get the van out until 940, and then they didnt have the equipment we rented, had to carry some furniture by hand without the dolly. super messy parking, no organization. Someone blocked my car, and they told me to go find the owner myself, 15 min after them telling me they would take care of it.

The service was very bad. It took 1 hr to get my rental even though it was reserved online because of multiple errors from the staff (first giving a truck that was behind other trucks, then the door being locked and then being stuck behind a pickup from a trailer). The inside was very dirty in the cabin and the rental did not drive well at all and did not feel safe.

Your computer systems are terrible and I waited for over an hour to get my deposit back because there was an issue with the computer system. Your policy regarding no deposit needed if using visa debit is not applicable in Canada.. you should state that on website/app. At least you have friendly staff.. I feel bad they are sitting under terrible florescent lights all day with no music. That's borderline torture.

Had to wait everytime I wanted to speak to the staff. No sense of urgency. The disc lock sold by uhaul broke with the key on falling to the ground, was not compensated for the same. While checking out, had to wait for almost 25 minutes to get the representative to give me the clearance. I was emailed asking to pay for the next month even after checking out. All in all, bad experience.

Truckshare 24/7 doesn't work, and you're forced to pay the convenience fee of $20 to drop off your truck after hours. I was not able to upload any photos, and it was a huge hassle to pick up the truck. We were lucky that the in-person office was open, but do not count on the app working for you.

The girl at the front desk was really pleasant and went out of her way to help us. The lady with braided her was rude, obnoxious and very unprofessional. When I asked her for help, her response was just go inside, and when I asked for where the truck was parked she just said “ you gotta go get the truck yourself towards the back and wouldn't give me directions. If I was the owner of that location I would promote the lady at the front desk and fire the other one. I like the U haul contact less experience and would definitely recommend it to a friend. I do want to know if any action has been taken asagist the employee with braided hair. If no action is taken then I will file an official complaint with the better business bureau.

In the reservation I did a week in advance through the mobile app I ordered a Dolly but when we reached the front desk the lady said there was none available. Also we couldn't use the mobile app in our Android phone to retrieve the truck. We got stuck when trying to take picture of driver so we had to go to the front desk. At the front desk everything was quick and the truck was ready to drive it. Very clean. Drop off was also easy.

Arrived in morning to pick up the trucks down asked for advice she just walked away. Maybe not her job but could have given some direction. Checked in online. Finally found the truck which was still all blocked in. She said she would unblocked the truck but never let us know it was done. Poor communication. Arrived at 8 am and never left til 9 am. So much for quick online check in.

When booking the rental from your website I requested a dolly. When I arrived at the location, they informed me that they had no dollies, and that despite my booking one on the website, they don't guarantee a dolly. I had to go purchase a dolly from Home Depot because I needed one to move a piece of 300lb furniture.

Terrible customer service experience from start to finish. To begin, your booking system is extremely difficult to navigate. On the day of my pickup i realized the location of my rental changed without my consent, requiring me to take a 45 minute journey across the city to retrieve my vehicle. Once I arrived at the pickup location I attempted to use the mobile check-in, where I was told to search for 3 different vehicles that I could not find. Once I was able to find the vehicle an error appeared and I was told to check-in with the attendant after-all. Once checking-in with the attendant I had made note that the location was changed which was an inconvenience and the app check-in system does not seem to be working well. This feedback was barely met with an acknowledgement let alone an apology. We were presented with a detail of charges double what was originally quoted on my confirmation, the attendant was not able to appropriately explain why this had happened. Further, the payment system was not working properly which resulted in further delays. The pick-up process took 40 minutes, combined with a 45 minute drive through traffic to get to the new location. This was a major inconvenience. We returned the vehicle after hours and attempted to use the mobile system to return. The system again was not working. This came as no surprise to the lot attendant who immediately told me just to call the customer service line so I don't get an additional charge. I waited on hold to speak to someone at customer service for 15 minutes before giving up. I received my final invoice through email with an after-hours drop off fee as well as a cleaning fee which were never quoted to me on pick-up. I left no mess in the vehicle warranting any additional charges. As a final note, throughout the rental facility there was no hand sanitizer present, nor was there any indication of additional measures taken to mitigate risk of Covid-19 both in the facility, or in the vehicle. While I am not at high risk, it is shocking that such a large corporation does not mandate such procedures to keep their customers informed and at ease. The physical product of the vehicle was fine, but the experience overall was completely inacceptable. It is clear that U-Haul has made every attempt to increase profits by reducing staffing levels at the expense of the customer experience. I have rented the same cargo van from Enterprise in the past and the booking, billing, check-in/out and customer service was straightforward and reassuring for a fraction of the price. I have no faith that someone will read or take action to this feedback however would be remiss if I did not express my dissatisfaction. In future I will never use U-Haul again and will actively dissuade anyone from using your service.

We arrived at our scheduled pick up location and were told to go to another location, 35 minutes away. Our truck was not available for several hours after we arrived at the second location. We left and then had to call to see if someone could help us and when we were almost home we were told a truck had just arrived so we had to turn around and go all the way back. Several hours and km's wasted before we could actually start. We were supposed to begin at 11am and didn't finish until almost 11pm due to the delays.

Please make sure the van is properly mopped. The van I received had mud smeared with a mop, it was dark early in the morning when I picked up the van and I slipped on said mud smeared with mop. I had to re-mopped the van to remove the smeared mud before using it. I always return the vans I rent from U-haul cleaner than I usually receive them as a common courtesy to the next client and U-haul associates. Please remind U-haul associates to pay attention when it comes to "cleaning" vans before handing it to customers. My experience could have been worse (like falling off the van and hitting the steel step bumper).

I rented an appliance dolly with my trailer to move a fridge and stove. When I arrived they told me that appliance dolly's are first come first serve. Not having a dolly meant I could only move the appliances but couldn't get them into my house. What is uhaul doing to fix this?

The uhaul truck share pickup directions weren't particularly smooth / easy to deal with. The van location wasn't described particularly well as it was like a second lot of vehicles behind the building. After tracking it down, I then had to go back to the front of the building to go inside and get keys from an employee. It was just much more time consuming than I had expected based on the marketing videos. The drop off was a much smoother process though so that was a nice benefit.

Staff was rude and very lazy, I used the app for touch less pick up and I had to go inside and stand in line for 45 mins to get a key !! Horrible customer service. Especially when there is 3 staff at the counter and only one is taking customers with 10 people in line. Returning was even worst when the staff member told me I had to stand on line again after using the app and the staff requested me not to use the drop box as the app requested. The app is a total waste of time, very poor experience!!!

This location was severely understaffed for a fully booked Sunday. The only reason I rated this location average was because the staff were as fast as they could be and as friendly as they could be given how understaffed they were. I waited nearly an hour to pick up my truck, and when I returned to get my storage locker, it took nearly an hour and a half. There were problems with my code which was extremely frustrating after waiting over an hour. Many customers who were trying to check out their vehicle online had problems and had to come into the store anyway which increased wait time. I haven't had good experiences checking out online either. Honestly I wasted 2.5 hours just waiting at u-haul on Sunday and I can't see myself trying this location again.

Worse experience I've ever had with U-Haul. I book the rental of a appliance dolly and when I got there I was told in the most indifferent way ever that it was on a first come first serves basis and they did not have anything available. I WAS NOT ABLE TO COMPLETE MY MOVE DO THIS!!!!!!! please someone let the customer know that they may not have the equipment need it for their move even when you book it on your rental. The best that happened there was one of the fleet attendants who's name is Sunny as he was the only one helpful at all. Here is my U-Haul Contract 29599658 please make this right.

The dates to deliver the U-boxes changed two times without informing. That caused a lot pf troubles and last minute changes that made me spend more money. Thats why I had to rent a car to bring the boxes by myself. I never received responses to my complains.

If you are offering service to hook up trailer, then provide it. I hooked up checked lights and safety chains. No one showed up. At drop off someone was outside and asked the question "are you dropping off and I said yes, they went inside and I proceeded to un hook. went online and completed the drop off procedure with pictures. If you have my credit card and my license on file why do I need to check in, considering that all the counter person does is take my signature and recopies my driver info again.

I have not left, just changed to a larger storage unit 3 floors up. I am very happy with the service. Staff are always friendly and helpful, facilities are always clean and well lit. I am 6' 1" and because of a structural column, the entrance to our compartment is about 5" on a higher level, so I climb the steps, and smashed my head against the door. There should be a warning on the door, watch your head, especially because the compartments on either side have normal height doors. I went home with my face covered in blood. I am not the suing type, but I think this really needs your attention.

How do you have employees smoking weed on the property during business hours? Is this what kind of environment you call professional? And your other employee told me that COVID-19 is over, because she’s a medical doctor. I hope they close this location or fire all the staff. I would like to compliment Sonny (Sunny? Suni?), one of the employees at your location, for his effort. Every time we went to your location he was working extremely hard and seemed to be working 2 or 3 jobs at the same time. I think you should have more people to help manage the parking lot, cleaning vehicles, driving vehicles, etc. Sonny was always working very very hard and needs more help.

You charge 10 dollars for after hours entry , the elevators where extremly small and the loading docks are to low or to high for pick ups . It was a total waste of my time , energy and gas . The only positive thing was when I asked for a refund it was given back every penny You over charge as i found another storage place that was 85 dollars cheaper for the same 10 by 10 with 24 access at no extra charges

We were a long term rental (16 month) and we enquirer about long term rates - asked to speak with manager who was hard to get a hold of. Finally manager approved a 1 mnth rebate - but only if I was to call back before the next processing month. This was never processed after 2 attempts In addition I left only 1 week into my last month of rental and there was no discussion about the possibility of prorating some of the month. The unit can be clearly rented again. This was very unfortunate customer service.

I just forgot her name but the lady that processed my storage rent.. she was kind, friendly and very helpful.... I first reserved a small storage but upon when I saw it.. I needed to switch to much more larger storage where she sorted it out and found a solution immediately... I needed a storage solution temporarily since I was kicked out of the house (room) I’m currently renting... and I needed a storage space to leave my stuff before I can move in to a new room I rented... hopefully everything should went well

Though trollies were readily available. Most definitely non acceptable customer service experience. UHaul representative was unable to provide sufficient service knowing system was down. Alternative support was poorly handled, when had access in hand to provide the help needed. In future, would never recommend working with this storage facility, though was dismayed having trusted uhaul MANY times in the past! First time storage user, this too, having declared not an avid online user, were treated as deeming an inconvenience having to aid in the first place. If system is down, and too much to handle, perhaps it’s best to take some time off until easier. Actually put in an effort to place feedback, as I never.

Positives: The storage unit met its purpose for us, the staff was friendly anytime time we interacted with them. Negatives: The access hours are inconvenient, you can’t always predict how long a move will take. I’ve written about this before to U-Haul and did not get any response. When we moved into the unit I had booked online previous but was made to go through the entire process again. I am not sure how it was possible but it too 40+ minutes, not including the time I waited in line. This cost us an extra 200+ dollars from our movers because we had to book them longer.

Asked another person & they said no need to wait in line, but the procedure to enter your pass code & get on with the move is not as described in the instructions (e-mail). I made an online reservation so I am not sure why it took an hour to set me up with my storage unit.
