Manny and Edgar were simply the best. I've never had such good customer service. I dropped my car off to get a hitch at 8AM. Easy process. I got a call at 11 saying that the hitch they had order was faulty, bummer. Manny said he had already called around and no one in the area had one. I get a text at 12 saying he's going to overnight one so he can try to have it get done by tomorrow. I get another text at 2 saying he drove 40 minutes to get a hitch and it will be installed today (Monday). I had already told him that I didn't need it until Thursday and yet he went above and beyond anyway. I then get a picture of the car, with the hitch installed. Amazing. I go to pick it up at 6 that same Monday and Edgar is as cheery as can be, gives me some extra wiring (he said that can be an issue) and some tips around the hitch (aka take the ball off so it doesn't get stolen, pro tip). Manny not only was incredibly communicative but friendly and helpful. Both he and Edgar deserve raises. I've already told about 15 people about how good the experience was.

It was my first time using Uhaul. I’m really satisfied with the customer service and their knowledge of the business.

Dropped off van early and waited to checkout. Was told I was good to go and you would email me the receipt. Despite driving only 8 miles, you charged me $8.50 for 2 gallons of gas. Not a lot, but if you do that to everyone you have a large class action lawsuit on your hands (unless your vans actually get 4 miles per gallon).

Excellent service. Appt. was performed right I. Time. Person took his time and made sure done right. I had a hitch but on my Lexus RX350 and they did a great job. All staff very friendly and professional

The paperwork listed the vehicle's mileage as 389 miles to start, but it was actually 441. I didn't catch it until I got back to the store and was their charged for those miles. Very irritating.

Everything went smoothly. We were given a truck with only 1,000 miles on it. The truck was comfortable and reliable and perfect for our needs.

There were numerous miscommunications regarding my UBox order. I was unable to get an authorization letter from the Uhaul company that would be accepted by Boston City Hall, they kept sending letters that didn't include the necessary information. While working with uhaul to secure my parking permit, I was told that the Ubox would be delivered on a specific date. The day before, when I called to confirm, they had no record of my delivery. Finally, after I returned the Ubox and cancelled my order, I was charged for the next month storage fees. It took two different calls to get the incorrect charge removed. I would not recommend UBox to a future customer, especially for a cross-country move.

The truck I was given is not the same as the one specified in the contract. I have photos of the number plate to prove it. This results in the wrong starting milage, with a discrepancy of about 10000 miles between the two trucks. I took a picture of the milage at the beginning of the journey and at the end, resulting in a total of about 4 miles. If you have any quwstions call me and I can send you all the proof. I did call immediately as soon as I realized that there was a mistake and the employee told me to come at 7am to sort this out but I’m working at that time.

U-Haul never delivered our UBox. We called to schedule a drop off 4 times, and were promised it had been scheduled. However, it was never updated in their system. This is after we received an email that U-Haul would email us to set up a time for drop of. We finally decided to go to the storage facility to pick up our box ourselves, and had to transfer all our belongings to a different truck and transport it to our address ourselves. Moreover, when we opened our box, several items had been damaged, even though we carefully wrapped the items in packing blankets. It’s no wonder, because in the short amount of time we saw them handling our box, we witnessed them slamming it into another box at high speed around a turn. The side of the box was literally coming apart. And finally when we tried to check out, the system encountered an error that took the customer service team over a week to resolve. All in all we were extremely disappointed by U-Haul.

For this facility, parking of owner vehicle during rental is difficult if over two hours, unfortunately I was towed and this soured the experience. Perhaps hourly parking spaces for as many vehicles as are rented out from the facility would have improved the experience. For all other aspects of the transaction, 4 stars. Staff is attentive and fair. Very busy site on College Move In Day!

My experience with UHaul UBox was HORRIBLE! Not was the recommended number of boxes incorrect, the boxes I did order were not ready at one time, so the moving company had to make 3 trips to get my boxes and pack them. In addition the uboxes were not of the same size 2 were significantly smaller. As a result i had to call a second moving company and missed the deadline for my belongings to be out of my apartment. I will never use uhaul again and will definitely warn everyone I know about using the company. A very unhappy customer.

Though our unit was free w/truck rental, there was no word about rolling stair access, an unpleasant surprise. Also, the facility has stairs so you can't roll the dolly from truck to unit.

What makes this facility excellent is the staff, who go above and beyond. The operations are excellent. The facility itself needs updates and refreshing & does not inspire confidence.

When I originally made the reservation, there was no indication that there was stair access only, which made the whole storage process more complex. Plus, there was no elevator AND extra stairs.

While Personnel at Main St. And Linwood St were both helpful, my reserved unit was given to someone else. I will not recommend u-haul storage since no guaranteed reservation, which wasn’t disclosed.

Uhaul in Boston is always ridiculously disorganized. You have to press and press the staff to get anything done and even then it's a struggle

After driving 9 hrs, I got there and the unit I’d reserved was unavailable, despite the fact that I’d confirmed it the day before. Uhaul’s software shouldn’t let you reserve a unit that’s not open!

The staff is exceptional and so is the facility, EXCEPT that the back of my rental unit was brick and leaked. 2 courses of boxes damaged by water, damp interiors and black mold. Fails with leak!
