While waiting for over a half hour for someone to help me, I went online and completed everything to rent a 4x7 trailer, including paying with a debit card. When an employee finally helped me, he couldn't find the reservation and I had to give him all the info and pay again. After getting home, the trailer wasn't wide enough. It is advertised as a 4x7, but interior is only 3'3", which is deceptive advertising. It is closer to 3x7 than 4x7. Couldn't even use trailer and immediately returned it. I would like my money back and you need to change advertising size. Not happy and complete waste of my time.

Ensure the vehicle is clean when I get it. Old fries were all over the cab of the truck and make sure the vehicle is full of gas. Also accurately record the mileage to the tenth of a mile not just rounding to whole numbers. Because of the truck not being filled and mileage not accurately recorded I spent more on gas than I needed to and was charged for additional mileage because I stopped to get gas. The truck ended up with a half tank more than I received it with and no refund is given and could not waive the 2 miles I was charged. I will never use uhaul again and will recommend to everyone never use your services again.

The online 24/7 share thing is horrible! Had to go in and start all over with the representative at the store... (Not good for a service that is supposed to be convenient) also when I dropped off the vehicle I followed the instructions from my email and completed all the steps and I was STILL CHARGED the $20 dollar after hours service charge. I followed all of the steps and this is rediculous. I only used this VAN for 2hours (As I had only a couple important things to move to my new place right away and the rest over the next few weeks and I can't imagine I'll be renting a uhaul) around 16 miles, and I paid over $55. I've used uhal before with no problems 1. If I would have kept the for an additional 20 some hours and returned it when the business was open I would have saved $20. 2. I still followed all of the instructions to satisfy the return and still got charged for it. Nickel and dime nickel and dime. Penske might have just earned my business when I complete my move.

Person who helped me originally was not very knowledgable. He was asking questions alot while getting the trailer lined up for me. Also the driver side front tire of the trailer i had was out of balanced. i communicated this to the rep who i returned the trailer with. He said he would check it out.

My entire experience was excellent. Every person I spoke to on the phone or face to face were knowledgeable and professional. I needed extra says one a one way rental due to o weather conditions. This was granted at no extra charge. I am definitely a fan of any business that treats people well. Moving isn't easy but uhaul took a lot if the stress out by having good people and an easy process

I got to my destination and paid for an appliance cart and no appliance cart in the truck called the place was on hold for 15 minutes had to go back to get appliance cart both trips 20 minutes each way and all I got offered was to be reimbursed for 10 miles it was very a very big inconvenience

I asked about dropping off the truck after hours and was never informed about the extra $20 fee. Didn't catch the small print until after I received the bill.

No so much a complaint.. My card was charged $52.36. I drove 10 miles. When I arrived back to the store to drop off the Uhaul truck, I was supposed to be charged $36 and some change. Not sure when the $16. It was said that my card wouldn't be charged till I brought back the truck. Again no complaint here.. Was Just saying. I love the company. Thank U have a good day

Location is closed on Christmas when I drop the trailer off I didn't get a picture sent for about a half hour after check in and was charged for an extra day but I called into customer service and they are supposed to reverse the charge

I love the after hours drop off option. Once I'm done with the trailer, I need it gone. The online return was a bit confusing....never really let me know if I had successfully completed the steps. ....but, I am not much of an online person....so....maybe it was just me. Thanks.

This was by far the best U-Haul rental experience I have had. The online check-in process was not smooth but this location did not blink an eye and quickly had me on my way. They even started the truck so it could warm up for me!

I utilize U-haul equipment (vans/trailers) approximately 6-8 times per year. Multiple times I've had equipment I want not be available at a location near me. This last time, I went to a location that was further away to get the equipment I wanted. However, I was given a trailer bigger than I ordered AND charged for the bigger trailer. This is extremely frustrating!

Took my Drivers license and never returned it. Was pulled over by the police (something was hanging and they let me know.) I carry a weapon and by law must inform Law enforcement. Oops, no DL... uncomfortable at best. All I got was a, "Ummmm... they blend in on the counter sometimes...

I had rented a uhaul to move lastnight and they told me i had to return it by 930 but then when i picked it up they guy i was checking out said i could keep in for 24 hrs so i said ok cool i took a little more time then the 4 hours suppose to be return a 930pm i returned it and 10pm and i was charged an extra 20 dollars for a convenience fee when the guy who checked me out stated that i could keep it till the next day with no charge because the rate was for a full 24hrs so that was kind of upsetting then when i tried to call the store i could not get thru to talk someone about it and i could not make it to the store

There is always a long line at the customer service counter and the wait to check in or check out is always very, very long. They need more employees to help. Every time I rent something it is always the same. The people there are very good there is just not enough.

Came for our reservation at 12 20 minutes early and waited in a 5 person line for almost 2 hours. Very slow service will for sure choose a new location next time.

Have the ability to call in more help on Sundays... when I arrived at 10:00 a.m there were 2 moving vans blocking the return equipment lane and a line of customers... over 9 people for 1 employee... I ended up doing my return online after waiting 15 minutes... all I needed was someone to tell me where to park the trailer... maybe have one line for returns and one for renting...

Customer service representatives need to be trained or reminded what customer service is. Interactions were cold, minimal, and borderline hostile. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

Top notch!. I am glad I dealt with this site directly. The Uhaul customer service center lady told me no one had the trailer I was looking for including Sioux Falls. However, when I called them direct they were more than helpful. The lesson learned is dal with a site directly. Avoid the call center as they really do not know what is going on.

I had to wait for WAY too long when I came in to reserve a truck and when I came to pick it up. Customer service is seriously lacking. The first time I came in, BOTH guys were sitting at the counter and didn't even look up when I walked over. Even when I said "Hi, how are you guys tonight?", I just got blank stares until FINALLY one of them asked how they could help. The second time, there was one lady ahead of me in line, but it took so long that my husband came inside wondering what the hold up was. I'm also frustrated that I got charged $10 for 2 gallons of gas. Every time I rent a UHaul, it doesn't seem to matter if I fill up the tank correctly or not, I ALWAYS get charged something. Finally, I mentioned to one of the guys, that when we moved about 3 months ago, we hired Moving Help because it is recommended by UHaul. Moving Help damaged some of our property, promised to reimburse us and then stopped returning calls/emails. The UHaul employee suggested I just leave them a review without showing any kind of concern that their recommended moving service had really messed up. The facility is nice-- it is just unfortunate that the service doesn't live up to its appearance.
