Can't rate the dealer at this time. They haven't done the install yet. Your u-haul web site is terrible. So is your 800 number for support. I was on phone for over a hour. The trailer had a broken light, which I pointed out to the attendant. He did give me the option of another trailer but pushed the light back into place and insisted it would hold. It was out again after my 2 mile drive home. I had to call for roadside assistance.JASON W.

The truck looked like all the other trucks I've rented before, but it drove pretty rough. The alignment is very off, almost to a dangerous level when driving through tight streets. I usually feel pretty safe in uhaul trucks but this one felt a like the wheels would pop off if I wasn't extremely careful and gentle. I got two blocks away and pulled over and signed up for uhaul insurance coverage on my phone, as I wasn't going to be blamed if something did happen, to no fault of my own. Got the job done, this one ride likely won't cancel out all the great ones I've had before, so just use it as an FYI.John M.
the person that helped me appeared high on something and had no sense of urgency! my online reservation was lost. i was moving due to a physical toxic environment and this interaction just drug the process on more than it needed to! he also did not go over the contract with me or explain anything about fuel, eitherWhitney B.

I believe my sales rep was named Larry. Very nice guy. Handled everything quickly and efficiently. I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. Very clean store and lot. Upon returning the next day another salesman asked if an email receipt was ok? I said yes, he said I was good to go. Within 10 minutes I had my receipt. I love uhaul. This was one of the easiest and fastest pickup and dropoff for a truck rental. The guys were very sweet and I was in and out.Ivelise D.
Made reservations for pick up truck and it was not back from previous renter on time. We had scheduled that time and had someone waiting on us to assist in a move. Employee disappeared from front desk and I ended up locating employee in garage area of store and asked if we could get an enclosed truck which was same price as pick up. Small truck was available, we completed transaction and left. I don't appreciate my time being wasted like this and I had to initiate the solution to the problem. There is no customer service anymore. Employees were pleasant but the customer should not have to resolve a problem like this.Anthony V.

The location of my pick up was changed without notifying me. My email verified had the location I chose but when I went to pick up the van they did not have the reservation. The new location was 8 miles farther and 10 miles farther from where I needed to go causing me to pay more mileage. There should be better communication.Rebecca G.

Send contact ahead of time because who has time to read the fine print while trying to leave to go print. Remind the customer about the gas policy when picking up the truck. We barely used any gas and was charged a ridiculous amount because we didn't fill back up to 1/4 tank. It wasn't even at 1/4 tank when we picked up the truck. I rented a trailer and the right light wouldn't work. So they wouldn't let me leave the lot with the trailer. The dude told me I didn't have to go in to get the refund he would tell them. I still got charged $37 so I had to wait 45 minutes on customer service line to receive a refund.ANDREW E.

The Linden Ave store was very polite and helpful considering my usual experience. I rented a trailer at a location near my home. During the online check-in I noticed my pickup location had changed. This is an hour before I need to pickup the trailer. I called the new location, Miamisburg store, to verify the new pickup, they stated this was correct. I arrived at the Miamisburg location to find out the trailer I rented was unavailable and the location had no other trailers in the size I rented/needed. I was told to go to the Linden Ave store to get the trailer I needed and I would receive a $50 credit. I arrive to the Linden Ave store to find out my trailer reservations were changed, by the Miamisburg store to the Middletown store (50 minutes away). The Linden Ave store took great care of me! I have not yet received my $50 refund from the Miamisburg store. I had not rented from Uhaul in over 25 years due to a bad experience when I was in the military, well 25 years later Uhaul didn't disappoint meâ€¦â€¦another painful experience!Todd M.

I rented a trailer last minute to help make deliveries for a school fund raiser. I was impressed with the equipment but mostly the customer service. They did everything. I was shown how to hook up the trailer, given a loaner adapter and checked all the lights. The whole process was thorough and appreciated.John S.

The actual facility was great and very helpful. The call center was okay but they waited until the last minute to send me my confirmation number and didn't even have anything in the computer until the very last minute. But the man at the facilitywent ahead and rented to me anyway. So All and all I would say facility excellent, call center sucks.Michael G.

Not sure who is to blame, but the guy highlighted the drop off location on my contract, which apparently was not the one I selected online and it was wrong. I went to the location that was on the contract and then got on the online link for equipment return and that said a different location. It was all messed up and took me an extra hour plus extra miles to get this figured out. Not a pleasant return experience.Param P.

You charged me for fuel. The same amount as I left picked it up was the same as I returned it. If this is the way you do business, Then I will not do business with you again. I even had to go an extra 7 miles each way to get my Uhaul truck because someone didn't turn in their truck like they should have. Not good!Ronald M.

I was suppose to pick up a truck for a one way rental after hours. I showed up to pick up the truck and was not able to get access to the truck with the app, online, or with a customer service agent over the phone. Even though I had scheduled a truck share 24/7 pickup, I had no other option but to do a "hand delivery" and wait until 7a.m. the following morning to go pick up the truck that I had already prepaid for. I lost an entire moving day because of this, and was only issued a $50 refund on an $800+ rental. Not satisfied in the slightest with U-Haul.Timothy R.

Horrible experience when I returned the van. The van itself was good but I was overcharged and had to make not one but two calls to uhaul customer service to get the charges corrected. Also, when I checked the van out, the customer service rep marked full gas tank on the rental form, when the tank was only 3/4 full. Very disappointed with the whole experience. The van was great, though, and I'd the company hadn't tried to overcharge me, had gotten the fuel tank level correct, and had resolved the incorrect bill promptly, I would have been satisfied. As it is, I'm going to be moving soon and am hoping to find a different company to use because my experience with this uhaul location was so bad.Jason C.
I have been charged for two extra days of use. How does that happen? How did I return it on a Monday and they check it in on a Wed. I am waiting for it to be corrected but how long should you wait for that, I would think that is a fix immediately situation.Toby K.
The first location I went to that I had my reservation at tried to tell me that I only had a 5500 hitch. And denied me the rental when I told him it was bull he began to throw me out of a store and threaten to call the cops on me. Second location I went to which is on this list the guy was very helpful he immediately noticed that it was a 7500 pound hitch and proceeded to rent me a trailer. If you look up your records you'll find the first place I went they tried to claim at safety reasons. I'd like the guy fired because he does not know what he's doing and he was rude so with the lady. It almost made me never use U-Haul again please call me back at 678-770-8438 so I can logic complaint I've already tried to lodge a complaint about the guy. And I feel like I've just been blown off by U-HaulJustin W.

Go over the condition of the vehicle with the customer before they leave with the rental, and check that the mileage is actually what is stated on the contract, as I was already into the $.99/mile before I left. The truck they gave me only had 1/4 of a tank of gas for an 80-mile trip, and I was on a tight deadline, so an almost immediate fill-up was not expected. It had mud on it, and what looked like a spilled cup of coffee down the front of the cupholder cover near the floor. The steering was sloppy causing me to be all over the road on the highway.Sandra L.

The restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper and paper towels. I had two units and one of my units didn't have a payment method attached, so I got charged a late fee. In the beginning we were extremely happy with the facility. We had no problem when our rate was raised from 54.99 to 59.99. We were annoyed at the immediate almost unstable $5 increase to 64.99. We were there on Thursday July 2 to check and see about placing a few of our boxes.. We were "yelled" at since it was already after 6 pm and we had not done "all the paperwork" yet. The store was open until 7. We had reserved the unit for Thursday, July 2. Since the unit had also "not been cleaned," we agreed to come back on Friday July 3. When we arrived the next morning, the unit had STILL not been swept and mopped. So the unit was WET when it was turned over to us. Cardboard and wet floors do not make a good mix. Our time was wasted waiting for the unit to be cleaned and the floor to dry so we could place our boxes in the unit. The unit should have been cleaned in a timely manner, maybe Wednesday?
