I was told to fill the tank. I traveled 30 miles and put 5.6 gallons in the vehicle. If it was really full when I picked it up that means it got about 5.76 miles per gallon. Not good.Robert L.

I wish the representative had told me there was an app I need to use when I first got in the truck. The representative told me the truck was filed up with gas when I got into the truck it was not full of gas. I drove the truck 9 miles and had to put more than $12.00 of gas in the truck when I brought it back. I could have put it in the app before I left the lot if I had known about the app.Cheryl S.

Staff was excellent. Only complaint is that it's hard to see which entrance to come into from the street and where to park if leaving your car on the property. Now that I know the layout, I'd definitely use them againMICHAEL K.
Maybe if communication was better. We asked if we could change the drop off time and was told yes anytime before close was fine . we said so is it extra hourly and was told....prerry much. Call 2 days later to let them know we decided to keep it an extra day ,they said that was fine. We asked if it needed to be returned by a certain time , was told before close. We asked if holiday affected their hours any way since it was gonna be Columbus day. We were told nope were open every day but Christmas. When we return the guy outside said the people inside never communicate with each other and didn't tell him we were keeping it an extra day. Then was charged not 1 extra day but 2 WHOLE days because we brought it back a little after 3 . we later are told at pay counter we are being charged for another full day because it was a few minutes after 3. We were never told that . just before close so aggravated . if we would have known we would have made sure that it was!!!Drew P.

I requested to rent a 20' truck from the Beavercreek location and was sent to this location instead because of lack of availability. I then was given a 26' truck which was more space than we needed, but if they sent me to a different location anyway why didn't they send me to one with a 20' truck? Navigating the 26' truck to the location we were moving to (very narrow streets) was challenging. I also requested an appliance dolly because we need to move a washer and dryer. Upon arrival Saturday morning, I was told they didn't have one available and a pretty much â€œsorry about your luckâ€ from the manager. They claimed someone had taken the appliance dolly without permission. Not sure how that happens. Also, does this location really only have one appliance dolly? At this point I was expecting a simple dolly to be on the truck to use, but there was nothing at all, so we had to go find one from a friend last minute. Very frustrating. Also upon returning the truck, I accidentally pulled into the overhang backwards (signage wasn't exactly clear on which direction the truck needed to face, due to the layout of the lot). The owner came out and told me I had to move it the correct way. Okay, this is fine. But he was getting in it right after anyway to return it to its parked location so I'm not sure why he couldn't have just moved it himself, but neither here nor there. The checkout process was a bit frustrating as well, as the owner instructed us to go inside to check out and the man at the desk was on his cell phone and seemingly had no idea what to do to check us out, then left to go outside and didn't return. The lady who had checked us in that morning ended up checking us out. The owner even mentioned the gas tank which was BARELY below full, but then passive aggressively said he â€œwould let it slideâ€ because they didn't have the appliance dolly. Overall I was very unsatisfied with the lack of empathy on behalf of the owner, poor organization and seemingly poor management practices. Will not be returning to this location. The owner specifically was very rude. I believe his name was Evan Good. Thanks.Brittany B.

The standard of charging a customer for 4 days when they only keep the equipment for 1 day is a rather obnoxious (especially considering you can re-rent the equipment out and effectively double dip). I asked because the only way I could get a quote eas for it to get include 4 days of use.Kevin M.

My account was hacked. The check engine light was on. The ventilation system blew nothing but hot air...hot, hot air, no air-conditioning. After returning i called to complian, waited 30 minutes for a person, then she put me on hold to check something and waited for to return for another 30 minutes. Total call 1 hour 9 minutes and 24 seconds before hanging up.....she never called me back, though she had my number.Richard J.

Picked trailer up wood and glass was in the back my 16 yr almost got hurt because of this she slipped and almost hit her head ......waiting on my refund to be credited to my account because of this issue...lady tht spayed the trailer out just left it on the ground where a car could have ran over it and gotten a flat this is the laziest person there I've seen the guy tht checked us out was speedy and polite as he could b being super busy after we came in ...Kenneth T.

Uhaul Riverside on Linden Ave in Dayton, OH is a solid well run business. The owner helped me with my rental and it was a really organized operation. Both pickup and drop off were super easy. Truck was clean and ran great and the employees were friendly.ERIC R.

I reserved a uhaul for 2 days online. There was a mess up in ther system/with the first location that rented out the uhaul to me and I was only allotted one day. They double booked the uhaul, and blamed me for it and charged me an extra day and a missed reservation fee. The manager told me it was not possible to reserve a uhaul for two days online (which is untrue) and refused to listen to me even though I had documentation that I actually turned the uhaul in early. Corporate confirmed this with me, stating I should not have been charged any extra charges, because my account reservation stated I reserved the uhaul for two days. Corporate ended up refunding me the extra charges, because I should not have been charged in the first place. However, it seems the manager took out his frustration with the situation on me, instead of taking the proper steps to figure out what went from and fixing the problem that turned out to be an internal issue within the company. There was no effort on their part to look up my information and see what was going on, and I was expected to pay for the company's mistake.BENJAMIN P.

The restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper and paper towels. I had two units and one of my units didn't have a payment method attached, so I got charged a late fee. I've been calling the 800 number and local for 2 weeks now trying to connect my linden ave rental to my online account. The lady on the 800 # didn't know how and no one answers the phone at the store.. so how am I supposed to pay my bill ??? This is ridiculousKristina V. | Online Move In
We were there on Thursday July 2 to check and see about placing a few of our boxes.. We were "yelled" at since it was already after 6 pm and we had not done "all the paperwork" yet. The store was open until 7. We had reserved the unit for Thursday, July 2. Since the unit had also "not been cleaned," we agreed to come back on Friday July 3. When we arrived the next morning, the unit had STILL not been swept and mopped. So the unit was WET when it was turned over to us. Cardboard and wet floors do not make a good mix. Our time was wasted waiting for the unit to be cleaned and the floor to dry so we could place our boxes in the unit. The unit should have been cleaned in a timely manner, maybe Wednesday?
