Hidden fees every step of the way, $20 a day is wildly false advertising. My truck had a dangerously broken right side rear-view mirror. It flung around while I drove so that I couldn't see the right lane. I tried to tighten it but the screw was stripped. I had to hold it in place by tying a ripped plastic bag around it and closing the other end in the door, which still only gave me partial visibility. When I returned the truck and I tried to contest my charges and get a discount for this negligence. I was told I would be contacted by a customer rep, and instead they charged my card anyway. Will be avoiding uhaul and renting small business in the future.

I'm certain that there's equal quality equipment and personnel for cheaper. Not worth the price I paid, I still had to hunt for someone to help me check in after the online check in process failed. And when I found them, I had to wait a while for them to finish a side conversation before I was even acknowledged. I really don't like paying so much for rudeness.

When returning the truck, the staff was more concerned with their breaks and food orders than actually conducting business. I don’t care who has 10 minutes before their 30 min break or who is leaving soon, I want to return the truck and leave.

Self-serve “automated checkin” was horrible! It’s physically impossible to find a randomly numbered truck on a big uhaul lot. I had to ask for more employee assistance using “automated” than if I’d just walked up to the counter & asked for my reserved truck. Plus the lot was crowded and I had to wait for customers & employees to shuffle trucks around so I could get out. I’ve never had so much trouble or wasted so much time trying to pick up and return a vehicle. And the website freezes up and errors out constantly during the process. Why don’t y’all have an app that is optimized for mobile? And make the vehicle numbers BIGGER and MORE OBVIOUS so customers can actually spot their reserved vehicle. I wasted a lot of time using “ automated”. There was nothing easy or automated about it. At least the employees were VERY nice and polite and seemed to appreciate how truly awful the self-serve system is. Moving is stressful enough already....

I just wanted to say how helpful and fun your crew was in helping me on my truck rental. Trey was very friendly and courteous. I do want to extend a special thanks to Brandon because I had noticed a damaged item on the rear of the truck but I had not taken a picture of it. I was looking dents and dings only. Upon return, Trey had said he’d have to report it and I was disappointed because I knew that damage was present on pick up. Brandon had overheard our conversation and stepped in saying that it was damaged by another individual the day before. Once again, I want to extend a thanks to everyone’s sincerity, honesty, and politeness to your crew. Clearly you had hired a crew that had nice family atmosphere around them and maybe that comes from management .

Safety chains were missing and I wasn’t able to tow my car back home from the engine shop, California Highway patrol would give me a $490-590 ticket for unsafe traveling with trailer not worth the risk. Will not rent from here any more

The front desk seemed short-staffed, but the employee was very friendly once I got up to the front. Also, it was very inconvenient when my reservation was changed to another location, the additional item (plastic wrap) that I bought for pick-up was still being held at the initial location instead of being transferred to the new location, as well.

Make dropoff location crystal clear when booking a truck online and checking in online. Not deep in an email or contract, but in big bold text on a screen people will guaranteed be looking at before driving away.

I rented this van at 7:45 PM after normal working hours during the evening so I had to do the self check out. The van worked well for my needs and I returned it around 1:30 AM. I was SHOCKED to see a charge for 2 dents/scratches. I am a very honest person and take responsibility if I (or another driver) hit the van, BUT this didn't happen. I didn't hit a single thing while having this van. I called in the morning once I saw the charges and had to make a complaint to corporate since James (the manager) never called me back (even after corporate's prompts). I went in myself in the afternoon and spoke to James who said he was too busy to call me. They checked the records and this van hadn't been used since last Sunday and he said there wasn't anything he could do (which was a lie). He does have the power to revoke fraudulent claims of damages (or ones that I didn't do). I will wait the 72 hours for the corporate claim, but if not, I will leave such a scathing review with suggestions/contacts for your competitors so that no one else gets railroaded like this. As well as, file a charge back with my credit card for the portion of the bill that includes the damages. Like I said, I'm honest, so I'll pay for the gas and the rental. I do not want to go this route, but I will NOT pay for damages that I'm not responsible for.

Vehicle was very dirty and empty of gas. I shouldn’t have to fill up first thing in the morning I am short on time and very busy. The vehicle should be ready and full of gas for me to use.

Your customer service at this location sucks. Both times while renting and returning were very very disturbing. The employee are very very rude. Specially while returning. I unloaded my stuff on the ground and this other employee within one minute told me to move my stuff. I kept telling him to please wait. There were other customers also watching what was happening. finally which hurt me is the your employee was lsughing in a very stupid was. This is very insulting and a discrace. Something needs to be done.

Weekends seem to be very busy at this location there sometimes is only one person renting trucks perhaps one more person would assist with shorter wait times. Overall satisfied with service provided. Taking back vehicle gentlemen was very accommodating.

Space was on second floor without any elevator access. Space had no lighting. Parking is poor, almost no parking adjacent to storage area entrance. For these reasons I cannot recommend this facility.

Insufficient employees inside to support the high number of customers during the weekend. Called main number (not the store) to revise/upgrade the rental vehicle, they assured me that the new vehicle would be available but, inside the store location they told me that they would not have available at the time requested. They were able to accommodate me with the vehicle requested but would have to pick it up a few hours later. Overall, customer service and experience was not that good

I was told the vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas. It didn't--it was on empty. So before doing anything, I had to stop and get gas (and after waiting in line for 40 minutes, I was already running behind). Before leaving the lot, I complained that I was given a vehicle with no gas in it and I was told that whatever gas I put into it, I'd get a full credit. I put $25 worth of gas in the vehicle and when I returned, the very same guy who told me I'd get a credit now said I couldn't get the credit. I had to get a manager involved to get that taken care of. Very poor service. I will not be coming back.

The check out process was cumbersome and lengthy for someone who has rented from that location before. I was already feeling rushed since I wanted to get the truck back before closing the fact that the truck was completely dead and I had to walk back to switch out the truck added to the pressure and dissatisfaction. I also had to look for both truck instead of the usual someone bringing it out to me, I dont know if this is a new precess. Overall this experience was sub-par. The only reason I would think about coming back is because of the location.

Ok my only complaint was that they made me air blow out some dirt that was in the back of the truck maybe about half a cup max that fell out of a potted plant I thought that was kind of petty either I cleaned it or they would charge me for them to clean it other than that ok.
