Insufficient employees inside to support the high number of customers during the weekend. Called main number (not the store) to revise/upgrade the rental vehicle, they assured me that the new vehicle would be available but, inside the store location they told me that they would not have available at the time requested. They were able to accommodate me with the vehicle requested but would have to pick it up a few hours later. Overall, customer service and experience was not that good

I was told the vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas. It didn't--it was on empty. So before doing anything, I had to stop and get gas (and after waiting in line for 40 minutes, I was already running behind). Before leaving the lot, I complained that I was given a vehicle with no gas in it and I was told that whatever gas I put into it, I'd get a full credit. I put $25 worth of gas in the vehicle and when I returned, the very same guy who told me I'd get a credit now said I couldn't get the credit. I had to get a manager involved to get that taken care of. Very poor service. I will not be coming back.

The check out process was cumbersome and lengthy for someone who has rented from that location before. I was already feeling rushed since I wanted to get the truck back before closing the fact that the truck was completely dead and I had to walk back to switch out the truck added to the pressure and dissatisfaction. I also had to look for both truck instead of the usual someone bringing it out to me, I dont know if this is a new precess. Overall this experience was sub-par. The only reason I would think about coming back is because of the location.

Ok my only complaint was that they made me air blow out some dirt that was in the back of the truck maybe about half a cup max that fell out of a potted plant I thought that was kind of petty either I cleaned it or they would charge me for them to clean it other than that ok.

I’m giving the PASADENA location a low rating because u haul should have honored my original contract to drop off the trailer in Glendale. I told them it makes me uncomfortable driving in Pasadena but they did not care and made me return it there. A company should never force a customer to do something against there will when they say there uncomfortable doing a un agreed upon task.

45 minutes to check in. Negative talk about the employees amongst themselves at the counter. Manager not friendly or apologetic for wait time. Ridiculous process,; long and slow. I won’t use again.

I was over charged and was supposed to have a manager contact me. The workers were rude and not professional. I will NEVER use this place again!

The clerk behind the desk didn't really greet me. I had to get his attention to receive any help. When the paperwork was finished, one of the other employees just pointed at the truck that I was issued and that's all he did, I got a one-way truck from Pasadena to Mira Mesa (San Diego). I'm not sure which location is at fault - the pick-up location, the drop-off location, or the uHaul system. When I got the uHaul truck at the pick up location, I chose a designated drop-off location in Mira Mesa which was also reflected on the contract when I drove off of the lot. I had my truck for 2 days and I called the drop-off location before returning it to give them a heads up and the very friendly clerk informed me that their lot was full and that my drop-off location was actually in Poway. I vented my frustration at the situation as that was not stipulated in the contract so he spoke to his manager and the manager said to just drop it off at their location. As I was driving to the location, that's when the uHaul system actually sent me a notification text message informing me that my drop-off location had been changed to Poway which is WAY too late of a notification as I was supposed to be dropping it off 20 minutes later. It was a complete failure of the uHaul notification system. When I arrived at the drop-off location I showed the manager my contract and it showed that his location was reflected on the contract as my drop-off point. He looked a bit confused but all he did was call their traffic hotline and they fixed it within minutes. I believe his name was Wayne. He was great. He was great in fixing it but a very terrible uHaul notification system.

The truck I picked up had a couple of dents and some fender damage that not documented which I had to take pictures and show it to the uhaul associate for him to document, since I could not do it through my end, but everything else was great,

Online pickup and verification took way to long. When I was done I was instructed to go inside and pickup key at side of desk. Nothing was marked and all the people at the desk where really busy. I talked to someone who was standin around and the attempted to get me the key but it took them about 15 minutes to find it.

Had one guy at the counter who was new. Nice and caring guy but he was all alone. He’d call fo help - someone would come answer his question then leave him alone again while the line of customers waited. Also had a very helpful guy hoop up my trailer. Those two guys were great but it took me 40 minutes to get a trailer. That’s ridiculous because they were not busy. They woman in front of me in line left because there was no parking available for her car while she used your truck.

This was a very convenient location. The service was below par. There needs to be more people working during the busy hours. Only one person was working the counter at a busy time, first of the month and a Saturday. My wait was only 45 minutes to get to the counter but there were 15-20 people behind me with only seven in front. I'm sure that they waited much longer. When I made it to the counter, they did not have the moving pads I had reserved. This complicated my move and put my belongings at risk.

The customer service from the man working inside was fantastic (I believe his name was Logan). Unfortunately when I got in the truck, its cup holders were dirty, as though something had spilled but not been wiped up, and I was told I had to return the truck with a 1/4 tank and when I started it it didn’t even have an 1/8 of a tank. No one walked me through the truck (I originally wanted to try the mobile p/u but changed when I got there as I needed more supplies, which may have led to confusion). Overall, the team was very nice and it seemed they may have been short-staffed, and I know things get missed sometimes. I would just hope the slight misses are not common occurrences.

1 person at check out. Waited an hour in line. Truck had no gas. Threw the entire day off. Should be a discount associated with this transaction.

It was hard to figure out how to use the app. When I arrived, the workers outside ignored me. This is a very busy location. It is difficult to figure out where the vehicle is because you use number on right front instead of plate number. Finally, I really didnt need to be solicited by the day laborers standing near and on the property.

Slow check in, people in front of me with confirmed reservations were told they could not get the equip they ordered, making me wonder if when I got to the front of the line what I had reserved would be there, after a 110 mile drive to get my reserved trailer,

Give us some parking. there is unlimited parking on the street and on the side that UHaul is on but the people that are there for part time work, take those spaces. I had to walk 5 blocks to find a spot. so there's another UHaul on Lincoln I would probably use next time. Also not used to the automation of everything yet ( the phone app you have to check out to approve car condition).

1) Better parking is needed. Generally, only street parking is available and it is limited. Therefore, I take the bus to get to this location. 2) Today, I needed some boxes and packing supplies. There were only 2 people working and they were prioritizing returns outside. Fortunately, I was able to use the "scan and go" service before a person was available to help me. Awesome! 3) Staff is very courteous and efficient.

The truck we needed did not meet the size standards we needed. We returned immediately and tried to schedule a larger size. The staff were not helpful in accommodating a refund in order to help facilitate a larger truck for our needs. Very frustrating. Even the manager didn’t help the situation.

The Facility was well maintained and the employees were friendly and fast, but they claim to not know if an 8 foot table would fit in a 10' truck. They tried to get me to get the 12'. They also claimed that they did not have a measuring tape. The 5- 8 foot table I was transporting would have fit in a van.
