Arrived after driving from TX to CA, we get to the Uhaul to return the auto transport first. I get out to ask where we park and the attendant there just says tell him ( my dad) to pull up. My dad is waiting to move forward because an impatient driver is trying to squeeze in and as he starts turning the tires to pull up the attendant starts "yelling what are you doing, right here". I immediately told him to take his attitude down a notch and realize what was going on. He wouldn't look me in the eyes or even apologize for his rude behavior. When we returned the Uhaul 26' 2 days later, we park, the same guy is on his phone just sitting down. I get out again to see who I need to talk to this time, he says just leave it there. Another guy comes out and starts telling him, to not check the truck in because he mistakes our truck for one that some other guy was bringing to the wrong location. I clear it up immediately that it's our truck and was scheduled to be dropped off here. The guy who came out bossing orders tells us to go about our way and let him handle it. Worst customer service skills. Would not recommend this location.Jose P.

I would recommend the uhaul spot, for trucks, but sometimes the motorcycle trailers can be very bouncy so I would double check before driving off the lot. The trailer that I had was very bouncy.Brian K.

Do not go this location. We rented a truck for four hours to pick up a piano. They asked to charge $100 for cleaning. We spent almost an hour to find a place to sweep it, and it looked all clean. They still said the truck was dirty and we are supposed to mop at every corner before return. It's just a truck, do you expect it shines? Ridiculous.Jing X.

The counter guy was not friendly and was in the bathroom for a very very long time when I arrived, delaying my pick up. The workers at the dispatch location (the lady) would NOT ensure that the dollies are blankets are in the truck, so I had to carry the dolly and the blankets all the way to the truck and the walk was very lengthy because they also wouldn't pull the truck to the dispatch location. There were homeless people sleeping in one of the trucks next to mine and my truck was filthy with urine and debris. The location manager was excellent and helped me get the truck when there was a major snafu with my reservation. Bad location, excellent customer service.Jaime W.
My UBOX was packed and labeled as "shipped" 7 days EARLY, yet arrived exactly on my "promised" date, despite many calls from me to various UHaul offices trying to find out why it couldn't be delivered sooner. My initial reservation process was very confusing, and was messed up by someone at UHaul (not necessarily at this location) in multiple ways. I was sent to a UHaul in Glendale to load my UBox even though the Gelndale folks weren't offering that service at the time, for example. When I finally got the call to deliver my UBox at my destination, they said they couldn't deliver it by the promised date until I implored them to double-check. The website was broken, and made it confusing as to what I owed and when I would be charged. I also filled out instructions for where to leave my UBox *at least 3 times* and it never seemed to register, so I had to explain again over the phone. There was also a chilling email saying I need to sign some document otherwise my delivery couldn't go through - and yet there was no such document on the website to sign.Maximilian Z.
I was charged for a furniture dolly that was not placed on my truck when I picked it up. I mentioned it to the onsite staff both at pickup and upon return and it still showed up as missing/damaged on my receipt. I would have selected excellent, however, when I picked up the 15' truck today the gas level was 1/3 full and the document I received at pick up showed the gas level at 1/2. I spoke to the young man where I pick up the truck and showed him the level of gas vs. the level on the document I had just signed. I decided to take a picture of the gas level and mileage before I left the lot. When I returned the truck, no one knew what I was talking about and was not believed. I was asked if I took a picture which I shared. With the price of gasoline, I'm so glad I took a picture! This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, however, I did not take a picture the previous time because I trusted UHaul (I've rented a minimum of 6 trucks so far). Gracias.MARCELA F.

All was fine and good until we checked the truck back in. We were told they would oversee the check in and the receipt would be mailed to us. Upon receiving the information we were shocked to see that we were being charged for gas AND the 30 dollar service feee. We had driven the truck at most 16 miles and put $15 worth of gas, 2.5 gallons. The truck we rented has to get at the very worst 12 miles to the gallon, so in doing the math we were in no way near the threshold of the charges assessed. Upon complaint and the display of the gas receipt the rep rightly reversed the overcharge, but would not refund the $11.62 charge for gas. We liked the services available, but we in no way like that the processes in place forced us to donate to UHaul. ANY amount! I understand that the location is most likely judged upon its sales record, but predatory practices like this reflect poor management. We will be using someone else in the future.Keith C.

When I signed up for the service I specifically asked for checkin counter service because I didn't want any extra charges added to my account. I received a text advising me that I had to return the truck on Sunday May 29 at 8 am at the Raymond location.The same location I picked the truck up from. I fueled the truck up before drop off. I arrived at the Raymond location at 8 o'clock and notice that the store closed and did not open till 9:00 AM. I sat in the parking lot until the staff started to arrivire at 8:30 and 8:45 am. I noticed one of the staff member Cesar was looking at my truck. I approached him and told him I had the keys. He took the keys and told me I was good to go. We never went inside the store. He never used any computer device to check the fuel or mileage. When I got home I received an email saying that I owe Uhal an additional $80. I was outraged because I fuel the truck up before drop off. I contacted the store manager and the only remedy he could offer me what the removal of the $30 service fee. I remain dissatisfied because if I knew that I was only 1/8th off in fuel, I would have returned to the gas station and put the additional 1/8 fuel in the truck at 6.00 per gallon vs 50.00 they charged me for fuel. So in essence, I was not good to go as Cesar indicated.Darlene N.

So bad for this big company and i try to call for complaints and they don't answer phone calls the options that we have is an operating system that's sacks i couldn't reach any supervisor or store manager with this system. I was accused of damaging the tailgate and I did nothing to cause any damage. Everything looked good and worked perfectly while I used the vehicle. Suggest have the customer wait at vehicle until someone fully looks it over with customer. The woman at the counter was unfriendly and busy watching a tv show on her phone. The guy where you pick up the vehicle was also unfriendly and kinda of sneared and pointed to where the truck was located. NO One verbally said to walk around the vehicles to inspect b fore driving away. Upon drop off the guy started down the path of accusing me of denting the truck. They didn't proceed with that but it was troubling to say the least. Overall it was a negative experience and added to an already stressful day.sam L.

The person who greated me and who was always right there to answer my questions and was very pleasant and fun to talk to. I used the program that allows you to get the truck without waiting in line. It was easy, but there were a lot of steps. I was often wondering if I was doing it right. I got the truck fast and without much stress. I apologize in advance because I never leave a poor rating for anyone but I rented this truck with Dolly's and furniture pads prepaid for everything. However when I arrived nothing was ready they had no furniture pads and no dollies and I needed the equipment because I had no other help for the move. I had no help had to remove everything on my own, unacceptable. In addition the truck was filthy, it smelled and the gentleman were just standing around outside not getting the vehicles ready. I've had a decent experience with U-Haul in the past, but this was not acceptable and I will not refer more business. I believe if someone rents and pays for something in advance and it is not ready that person should get a call to inform them not waiting till they show up, that is horrible service.Robert P.

For the biggest rental trucks, make the return area easier to turn the vehicle into. It was an inconvenient entrance for there and very difficult to turn it between the barriers to return it.Eric B.

The staff was incredibly rude. At one point, when I was waiting in line, the cashier was literally yelling at another employee through a radio because she didn't know how to make the computer work. When I went to get checked in to my storage locker, the guy who set it up didn't know how to use the key card system. It took 45 minutes or so. When he was done, he confessed that he had never been in the storage building. Parkin g is a nightmare. When I was finally checked out, an 18 wheeler had blocked the driveway so I couldn't leave. Although the staff was friendly, they didn't have my reserved unit available which required a downgrade in size and was on the second level with no elevator. This required multiple trips up and down with heavy boxes and heavy furniture to a non-air conditioned second level. This was very frustrating and took 3 hours to load the unit where it should have been up to an 1 hour with the reserved unit that was on the first floor.Isaac A. | First Impressions
Shanna is an exceptional customer service person. She handled my issue of a late fee without my asking her to. I was apologizing for not reporting that the unit was empty and that I cost them the ability to rent it sooner. I fully had accepted that I owed them the fee. I'm a senior citizen with knee & back issues. She remembered that I had come in earlier with daughter to return the truck & noticed that was having difficulty walking. You should inform renters right off the bat that there will be regular increases on the monthly rental fee. This is one of the reasons we left. You should also consider expanding the parking lot. It's too small for a company that offers a lot of services. I witnessed a confrontation between a customer and one of the staff yesterday precisely about this issue. I asked for receipt to be email and it has not, and your system was "down" and had to wait 30 minutes to pay for 8 months of storage. Would like rent not continue to raised I have been here since 2013, 6 years is the cut off of storage rent increase if not may find another, and there was a White male worker, no name tag, being very annoying and female Black was also annoyed by him she said something about gas he was working on, he also said "your storage went up another 5 bucks". when general manager came out that guy was gone from office.
