The truck was not where I had requested to pick it up or drop it off. I was forced to pick up and drop off several miles away, and I was responsible for the extra mileage costs, which she seemed unreasonable to me, considering it was not where I had requested the pick up and drop off.Brian G.

Change your quality control to assure that rental agreements are accurate. I was stuck with donating 5-6 gallons of gas because U-Haul did not give me a full tank to start with. Read my notes on pickup location.Richard V.

I reserved a truck, I was going to drive about 300 miles, so when I got the truck it needed gas, I went to the gas station and put in $79.00 worth of gas, the first road I got on that I could go over 40 mph the truck was all over the road, the steering was so looose in the steering wheel. I turned around and brought the truck back. I said I needed a different truck. They gave me a different truck. I asked what about the $ 79.00 of gas I put in the first truck. They said it was my fault and they wouldn't do anything about it. So I went to the gas station and put $75.00 in gas into the second truck. It was not my fault that they gave me a truck that was not fit to be on the road. I am very upset.Wayne L.

At the Naples location, The outside man responsible for handing return of the vehicle was an absolute Jerk. He was rude and impolite, just wanted to charge me for anything he could find reason for. and ignored me when I tried explained to him some of the items I had requested were not available when I had first picked up the vehicle and he ignored me as well and tried to charge me anyways. I had to bypass this person go the other gentlemen in the office to get it straightened out. The guy in the office listed and he gladly helped get the issue straightened out. You're outside employee needs a lesson in people skills and needs to change his bad attitude. I won't be going back to rent from Uhaul again if I have to deal with poor customer service like that again!John H.

The exterior of the truck was dirty and needed a wash. Also, the tire pressure indicator was not functioning properly and the employee stated that they didn't have the ability to properly address the issue. Everything was just great - staff are very friendly and helpful. Although not the fault of the facility, but the truck I was assigned was horribly, grossly and nauseatingly marijuana stench infused from the previous renter. That should’ve been addressed before I was assigned the vehicle during post-previous renter inspection. The storage unit was fine. The flood from Hurricane Ian was not your fault but how I was treated afterwards was not cool. I had to go down and go through my stuff no dry way to repair (not your fault) was told I could leave my key and I would be contacted when the drywall was replaced in my storage until. 3 months later not contacted and needed stuff out of the unit went and got my key and the dry wall was never replaced. They did cut a hole in the dry wall as I had to clean up the mess when I moved out. I have disputed this change but without any response from UHaul Naples location or head office, after multiple calls to try to resolve. The staff at this location are all friendly and very helpful. The biggest detractor from this site is that it is extremely difficult to bring anything in a truck or trailer as the entirety of the two months I used this storage I was barely able to park anywhere near the only doors into the building despite having three sets of doors that were always locked effectively doubling the time it took to load and unload storag items. Also it should be noted that the font parking of the storage is so packed with uhaul trucks that my family and I had to park halfway onto a busy road while unloading and this is incredibly unsafe as I saw ample storage space for the fleet trucks in the back.Larry R. | Overall Experience

I reserved two conditioned spaces and they had neither when I got there. Very unprofessional and the lady at the counter should have been fired for her inability to understand and take control of a situation where a customer comes in with a reservation and is upset about not having a place to unload the truck. She was indignant when I asked what was the point of making a reservation if they don’t reserve the units. I called ahead because we had a one way rental from Colorado and needed storage. I spoke with Doug and he said storage was available. Once we arrived I found that the storage wasn’t large enough (I wasn’t told which sizes were available) and had to get two units. Had I known this, I would have chose a different drop off. Fortunately Joshua was super helpful and made it less stressful and provided the best customer service. Many times access to storage was blocked by U-Haul trucks with no place to park. Door to storage doesn’t stay open and therefore smushes as you walk through with items. Also, can’t open double door for oversized items. Concrete guards surrounding storage door entrance were very annoying and obtrusive. .
