Good experience. Only thing I didn't like was the truck was on E with the gas light on and the the paperwork said it was a quarter of tank. I had to go immediately to a gas station. Did not plan to have to do that. I personally would NEVER want to pick up a vehicle with that little amount of fuel. Besides that it was a good experience. Will be back. Thanksbrian A.

No receipt has been received as of now on email, though my account on uhaul.com past orders does show the receipt.. Trailer was very very dirty.. Location was awfully under staffed.. Uhaul has MONOPLOY, so you have no reason for uhaul to worry, though I go to other businesses for many other products and services that uhaul does offer!!!JAYENDRA B.

When we pulled into the return canopy, we sat there for a couple minutes than was asked to move, so we move to a spot than went inside. The uhaul staffer asked us if the equipment was under the return canopy and we told him it was but someone told us to move, he asked us who we said we didn't know who the person was, we assume a uhaul staffer. He said that the outside staffer was inside so it wasn't a staffer and that we should put the equipment back under the return canopy. We went back and moved the equipment and still no one was out there, so we locked the truck and left the key. When customers are returning equipment during business hours someone show receive the equipment and ensure everything is ok vs it being an after hour process during business hours.Carleen B.

My biggest complaint is the location of the drop box. I spent over 20 minutes trying to figure out where exactly the drop box was. I fortunately saw two other people on the property who said they drove around the building twice trying to locate it. Very frustrating. Drop box needs to be moved to the front of the building at the entry door.Steve T.

I was disappointed to find you guys don't thoroughly clean the vans. A customer should not have to do this because for the price you charge the van should be detail-clean. Also, the moving pads I paid for as part of the rental were not in the van so I had to go into the store to get some and the staff was not sure how to handle that. If a customer rental includes equipment or accessories, those materials should be in their van waiting when they arrive.Roger M.

Even though dollys were in the lobby I was told that they didn't have any even though they were apart of my order. I couldn't find my truck using the mobile app. While I was in line all of the check out people left the front even though it was a long line to do other things. Consequently I was an hour behind because I had to wait for them to come back. They blocked the lane off where my truck was located so there was no way I could have found it on my own. When I asked for them to extend my rental I over heard the manager telling the person checking me out that it's on me that I was late checking out even though it was clearly their fault. The manager was also lazy because when I didn't see anybody at the front desk When I had to go back inside to get my key I asked the manager for help and she told me to wait for someone to check me out. There were no other customers in the store and I heard the staff BSing in the back room. So I had to wait to be checked out putting me further behind and to be told that it's on me and I couldn't get my rental extended is complete bullshit. I was also told that I had to pay for the equipment that I requested even though it wasn't available for me to rent. When I called customer service I was able to get my rental extended however I was told that they had to request a refund for the equipment from the store manager. To give credit where it's due I was able to get a refund for the equipment but it took me waiting on hold for almost an hour to do so. I get that things happen and I am not an unreasonable person however I do expect basic customer service. I couldn't pull around back to find my truck because they had the lane blocked off. In the future I will be using another rental truck service because having affordable prices but crappy customer service isn't worth the hassle. Moving is stressful enough and I don't mind paying more money if that means a better experience.Michael W.
The representative asked how long we would have the truck? We said we were not sure. He said give and estimate and we did. He said as long as it is back before the store closes it would be 19.95. I received a bill for 39.90. I sat out front waiting for 20 minutes for the guy who was washing the truck. He eventually told me to just leave the keys in the truck and I did. Nobody said it would be an extra day charge if it was boought back later than estimated time. I was mis led and dont mind paying 19.95 but 39.,90 for roughly 4 hous is not acceptable. I called your customer service line and explained the situation and she said she would let me talk to a manager. A manager never came on the line after I put my call in the que. Worst customer service ever and i will not recommend anyone to your company after all this misleading information.mary T.

I WAS PROMISED 30 EXTRA MILES SINCE I HAD TO GO WAY OUT OF MY WAY TO GET TRUCK AND THAT WAS NOT RECIEVED - I WAS CHARGED AN EXTRA $45 + BECAUSE OF THIS. The guy working in return seemed like he was a bit high.he said pull around back and he would un hook the trailer. Then 10-15 min later I had to go find him, was sitting in a return van playing on his phone. When he did finally come around the building He was super confused about how to unhook the trailer and wandered off to get someone else to help. After waiting about 20 min he never returned. I think the real differentiator was the manager called D ( I can't say her name). She is super friendly, interested in the customer and thorough. She confirmed and verified everything and many recommendations for me before I left. As other customers lined up, she looked up, spoke to them and kept working with me. There's only one way out of the parking lot back to the street, unless you turn around and go back out the way you came in, which risks you running smack into some one else. SOLUTION: Ask your staff cleaning the returned vans up to park them as far to the left as possible so that people leaving can get around them and go on out!! Thank you. I rented the vehicle to move my son's belongings from his apartment on campus: 1. First of all, no one answered my call when I tried to make a reservation. 2. The car was filthy inside and outside. I had to spray a lot of Lysol inside of the vehicle. The car was dirty inside and there was candy paper on the floor which proved my suspicions that the car was not cleaned inside of outside. The car was so dirty outside, I used a towel to open and close the door. I wanted to take it to my carwash but was afraid it would be too tall to meet the height requirement. 3. Staff was rude. 4. No one showed me basic information about the vehicle. I.e, the center console was up and I had to go back inside and look for someone to show me how to put it down. (There was a lever to pull) 5.. The vehicle that I was given ran poorly. When on the beltway, I needed to pick up speed and the engine ran loud and stalled a couple of times. 6. There was a high step up/step down. I had to jump up into the vehicle and had to jump down about 3 feet. 7. I'd like a refund due to the poor experience. 8. I did love the location. 9. Thank you.Dorothy H.

The representative I dealt with added damage coverage to my contract after he verbally asked me if I wanted it and I clearly said no. I noticed this on my contract about a quarter mile after I left, returned around to go back to have it removed and he told me that all I have to do it decline it at the beginning of the vehicle inspection check-out that he was going to send me another link. Well there was not specific option to do that on the electronic check-out form. So I insisted that he initals the contract that I did not accept insurance. Upon my return the insurance was still on the contract and the check-in attendant would have closed the contract if I did not point it out. The hassle I had to endure through this process could have all been avoided if Nick did the right thing and made the simple update in the system after I return around and brought it to his attention. I had to spend 45 minutes on hold to speak with a customer service representative after waiting with 3pm the following day for a call from the location general manager about the issue. The truck had strong wind blowing sensation above the peddle that burned my feet as I drove. The airbag light was on. The truck was in need of a alignment. I had to turn the vehicle in a lot earlier than anticipated because I could not continue to endure the excessive heat feeling like it was going to burn my skin off my foot. So I had to smooth and my SUV. And I am still moving in my SUV as I send this email. The burning was so intense that I have bruising and burning. I do plan to go to see the doctors. Because the burning is still intense. Excessive hot heat like a torch was flaming my foot. Spoke with the representative and she knew exactly what it was. The truck was all over the road due to the alignment. And there is an exhaust leak on the truck.LaKeshia C.
Make sure that all equipment is in good working order prior to releasing it to a customer. The rear door on the 15' truck I rented would not close, and we did not realize it until the truck had been packed up. I chose an AVERAGE rating because this facility has NO ELEVATOR, which makes it even harder when moving heavy things in and out of the unit. Also, I spoke with a few others who are renting units at this location and they complained about mice on the first floor. My unit was on the second floor and I did not have any issues with mice. I learned about the no elevator situation after the purchase. There were at least 4 prior opportunities for this critical info to be shared. There was structural damage to the ceiling of the uhaul facility which caused permanent damage to my furniture and other property. I informed the front desk staff who was incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Ebony was eating and seemed completely disinterested during my visit. The manager, Brittany was not knowledgeable and only offered her card. They were unable to even tell me if my unit had insurance. When I arrived the representative was on the cell phone. As I approached, she paused her conversation and though she asked how can she help, I since she was not very much into customer service. Why do I say that? When I asked about prices and space sizes, she simply pointed from a seated position rather that getting up and directing me. After signing the agreement, she handed me my paper and gave me unclear directions as to where my storage room was located. Most of all, she didn't explain to me that I need the access card to get into the building. I actually didn't notice the access card till she caught my attention as I was walking away and she said I needed it to get into the storage area. It took me a while to find my storage locker and when I returned to ask about rather there were elevators in the facility, she paused a cell phone conversation and gave me the look of, "now what does he want?" She could have explained from the beginning that my locker was on the second level and there were no elevators or ramps to get there, only stairs.mark c. | First Impressions

The registration agent at the facility rude and dismissive and the employee that was on staff w/ her first 7 minutes of my intake was spent trying to tell her that I wasn't there to pick up a truck. She refused to except information from my registration for the storage space, after an exhausting 7 minutes we began the process to secure my space. We get to the space there's a green tag on the door I cut the tag a deafening sound blared over for 3 mins. Now we make it back to the truck while we are off loading a staff member comes thru not once but three (3) times(each time he came through he found something laugh about or make a commit) to to tell us the large sliding door will lock at 7 and all moving will be thru the small door. This was undeniably unreasonable request that brought on a toxic level of stress to beat the clock. We did just that packed the unit wrestler the required lock we were forced to purchase despite the fact we came w/a lock for the unit. What if we didn't have the money to support the forced purchase. You are dealing with induvial that are in tight situations make quick move under direst to force people to purchase a lock that truly doesn't properly fit the unit it took two people to close the unit one to fit the small facing into the hole and force the key to close and the other to level the door so that the lock fits yet another example of unnecessary stress added when dealing with the facility. So we are done, unit is closed then we remembered we needed to get an item . We unlock the unit that deafening sounds starts and never stops, we scrambled to find the item the was sound blaring it distorted us we couldn't think after leaving the facility we had head pain that was unbelievable. It was a horrible experience to say the least from start to finish.Eurickson F. | First Impressions
