I would recommend this location, only because equipment in other locations within 10 miles of my home or my destination was unavailable. I waited 65 minutes for the 5'x8' cargo trailer I reserved 4 days earlier. There was one employee on site at 08:00am. I was assigned a trailer that had to be de-assigned after the employee realized I he assigned me been a one-way trailer that was not allowed for local use. I was assigned another trailer, however the connector on the wire extension attached to the tongue of the trailer was damaged. All trailer lights were inoperable. The employee could not locate another extension not already attached to other trailers. Fortunately for both me and U-Haul, the length of the wiring coming from my truck is several feet in length. Therefore, we removed the trailer's wire extension entirely, then connect my truck's wire connector directly to the trailer's primary connector. We were in business, with one exception that was overlooked by the employee when he inspected the trailer lights prior to our departure. As the lights were tested, left and right turn signals functioned successfully, as did the brake lights and emergency flashers. However, I noticed hours later, when hauling a load after dark, that the normal function of the right light failed. I had no right light. I reported it to the same employee when I returned the cargo trailer 24 hours later. I am normally a very patient and kind person. I suppose my military training and my childhood upbringing combine to ensure I maintain a polite composure. under stressful situations. This was certainly one of those circumstances that demanded I did not go off the deep end. My moving of household items for my youngest daughter was priority, and my options were... well, honestly next to nothing outside of the existing U-Haul reservation. There were actually other matters that worked on my patience (an important device without power, an inoperable storage facility gate with a repair technician onsite, several other customers requiring assistance - one disappointingly left without being helped, multiple phone calls, etc.). Yes, I could have blown a gasket, watching the clock on the wall and pacing back and forth as I waited. I didn't however. Why? Because a young man was being a complete U-Haul professional, conducting himself in a manner rarely seen in businesses today. I was not about to break his "modus operandi" and create a ripple affect that would quite likely disrupt his customer service objectives, and further delay my plans to move my daughter's household items.

Truck wasn't there where I reserved had to go further out to get another truck holding up my move. The mover that I hired was frustrated with me. There was no hand truck which I was requested and I was told their is no guarantee. So I had to go out of my way to pickup a hand truck using up miles and gas in the Uhaul. This experience was the worst ever. No stars not even 1.

The rate the location was to charge was different than my reservation by $400. This caused a huge delay in getting the truck. Once I called the company, they cleared it right up. For some reason, the store could do nothing about it. Im not sure if that is the store's fault or the system. It was very frustrating and took a very long time.

Do not add items the customer did not add during reservation. I was charged for items I did not want. Some were removed when returned but did not realize the tow insurance was also added until received final receipt after leaving the property. Word of advice...do not add items to the customer's online reservation. There is a reason the customer declines the add-ons during reservations and that reason is they do not want the added services.

The customer service was AMAZING!! The problem was out of their hands. The truck was not in good condition and should be taken put of commission. The truck sounded like an old lawn mower. It was horrible on the highway and dangerous for we were pulling a 2002 thunderbird. The car hookup was amazing. The service guy was the best. Uhaul, you should be ashamed of yourself as a company that you don't take better care of your trucks. When people need trucks for whatever reason, the staff and patrons should not have to worry about the condition of these trucks. My mother passed last Friday. All I was trying to do was bring her car and belongings home. It definitely wasn't the items foe we had 10 Tupperware bins. We didn't even have enough stuff to fill a small van. I am highly disappointed and I use uhaul alot. I am second guessing this.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would have more employees at the store. There was only one (1) young man named Kacy Daniel who was working and doing the best he could to accommodate all customers. I found Mr. Daniel to be very competent, professional, genuine, and lighthearted. He did a great job. Unfortunately, I had to wait a little bit behind two (2) other people. It's a good thing I arrived at the store when I did. Had I been made to wait much longer, I would have missed my doctor's appointment. My reservation was changed about ten (10) minutes before I was to arrive at U-Haul and pick up the equipment--ten minutes!! Imagine my surprise and the great inconvenience. I had to go out of my way to this place, but when I did arrive, I received great customer care from Mr. Daniel. Sometimes, things do work out for the best.

I am disappointed that you would keep a customer money and not-prorated the rest of the month that the had left after spending his or her money with this company. I will not recommend. Nobody to uhaul because of that along. That's not right to keep a customer money and make them pay for the month.

The truck smelled like someone had just smoked marijuana in it, the customer service representative told me the truck smelled like weed. The trailer was not inspected correctly it was missing bolts from one of the tie-down straps and should not have been rented had to return it just to spend another half an hour for them to get me switched over to a different trailer, this whole experience was bad I had to have them break down the charges because it was not what I was quoted and the equipment was not in the shape to be rented on top of everything else they did not have all the equipment I had reserved. I would not recommend this location I would recommend a different location if you had to use U-Haul personally I will be going to Penske next time.

Called the morning of to confirm my storage unit. Get to this location just for them to tell me I don't have the unit because it don't say open in the system but when he walk to look at it it's empty but he can't put me in it bc only the manager can change the system.. So my Only Option would be to get a bigger unit for more money instead of what I had booked. I asked the front desk guy to call the manager so she could change it in the system. She was rude to her own employee when he was only asking if she could change it to vacant. Because it was a Saturday and she is “off” I had to go up in price for my storage unit. 10 x10x8 is what I had booked in advance price $109 and was told the morning of that it was still ready and open for me. 10x10x15 $150 is what I had to get because the manager didn't make sure the unit was correct in the system so I can move in. Nor did she try to help the guy when he called to explain what was going on. This location is VERY in organized and seems to only want to get more money out of you. Instead of doing some type of compensation so the location mess up. Instead I was told I needed to get something bigger and pay more.

I had a problem with the refilling of the gas. I was approximately 300-500 feet from gas station and I put gas in the truck. The gas range went to over the amount I need to replace. I literally went 300-500 feet to the uhaul store and followed directions to where to return the truck. The worker checked the truck out and said that I would be charge $9.50 in addition because I don't have the correct amount of gas in it as when I left. I stated to him that I do because at the gas station 300-500 feet away the gas registered more than the amount needed. He proceed to show me the picture of the amount of gas in the truck. I look over to where the truck was parked and notice the truck is not on level ground, it was on a slanted small hill. So I told him that he wasn't getting a true reading of the gas because the truck wasn't on level ground. The guy said he's only doing his job and that was it. I was exhausted from moving already so I gave up and paid the extra money. It wasn't about the $9.50 that I was questioning, it was all about I know for a fact how much gas I put in truck because I watched it as it was filling up and when I drove off. So I think about just how many people they are doing this way and how much money they are swindling out of people by having them park on a unleveled ground do they can not get a true and accurate reading. This is not right and differently show lack of integrity on this business.

I was not happy that you don't prorate if you don't use the entire month. Also I reserved a truck at this location and I was told that it was at another location!!! Very inconvenient!!! I had too pay for the miles too go get and return the truck to a location that I didn't reserve!

I was offered an settlement and when I went to retrieve my things they snatched the settlement back n auctioned my belongings… ppl are going thrre so much during the pandemic and giving birth losing my father and now my things were pretty much stolen it’s really sad how ppl do others in need instead of listening or being any kind of sympathetic
