I received one email stating my charge was $40.77; but they charged $56 to my credit card. When I arrived to drop off the van, the employee was nowhere to be found and when he came in, it wasn't clear that he worked there, I was leary about handing him the keys.DEANNE O.
I used a van for 15 miles and was charged $73. when I call to ask for an explanation of why they are charging me an extra 23 dollars they tell me not to deliver the tank with gasoline, I ask if they checked the van and they lie to me saying yes, they lie to me because I took a photo of how I delivered it and no practically no gasoline was used. At the time of handing over the key, it seems that no one bothered to check and make sure that everything is fine because since they already have the card, they later want to steal from the client. Trailer had a very low tire due to a nail. After spending two hours on the phone with the alleged-customer service people (who were completely useless), I ended up pulling it 50 miles with a damaged tire.JOHN F.

Have the staff actually explain the fees and other charges associated with renting the vehicle. I was under the impression, and was certainly not told otherwise that there would be mileage charges, and fuel charges. I thought the milage was part of the rental fee. I left with a little over a half tank of gas, and came back with a half tank of gas, and was charged $16 for that. $22 for mileage, and then a $20 "rental fee", and then three other fees on top of all that. That should all be explained at the time I put in my reservation, and none of that happened. I was not happy with surprise fees.PAUL T.

I had reserved a truck in advance to be here and it wasn't. They checked all stores in the area and told me there was none around. They stuck me in a smaller truck that won't fit all my stuff. I figured let me take this I'm on a time crunch ill come get a second truck. I drive down the street called another location and they had the truck! so I bring this one back to switch to the other store and they give me no paperwork, I call in to confirm I won't be charged because I did not use the truck and some lady was rude and hung up on me.PAUL D.

Truck had a bad shake on the highway, empty Gatorade bottles fell from underneath the dash when I went over my first Speed bump, dolly and blankets were NOT ready when I arrived, had to load them myself, was double charged for the dolly and blankets, called and spoke to someone in customer service at the store. They transferred my call to someone in accounting. That person told me that they can't do anything and thay the store should have done it for me because they can't authorize the refund. They said the money would be refunded and that I would get a phone call confirming it. NO PHONE CALL NO REFUND, I called at 9am and never got a call,very dissapointed and I feel financially taken advantage of due to no fault of my ownEVAN N.

Don't book rentals so close together I was suppose to pick up my 20ft truck at 10:00 am and the person who rented it before was suppose to return it by 10 and never showed up Uhaul called him he said he would return after 4 so I was stuck with a smaller truck and wasn't able to get all my furniture causing me to loose a very expensive and sentimental piece of furnitureLYNN L.
