My experience was not necessarily a positive one, but I feel the staff and the manager made every effort to assist me. It feels as though they may be very short-staffed, which is stressful for both staff and customers. I had an exceedingly long wait on multiple occasions prior to my move-in, and noticed that some people walked out, unable to make their purchases. To their credit, the staff remain friendly, professional and helpful so I feel they are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. I had to pay additional charges from the trucking company that moved me due to the long wait to get checked in. There is some type of construction taking place at this time in the storage area, so I found there is dust in the air. Someone was smoking in the storage area and I am hoping that it is not something that continues as I do not want our belongings to smell like cigarette smoke. The manager/staff assisted me with issues that occurred and I am appreciative of their efforts and satisfied at this time.

I waited all day for my Ubox to be delivered due to the large 10am-5pm window provided by Uhaul. It would be super helpful if the window was able to be narrowed down to 2 or 3 hour periods. The website also needs significant updating as I often encountered the error screen and therefore had to call - which would lead to 45minutes on hold. For example, I wanted to update my credit card online and was not able to do so. I therefore had to update it a total of 5 different times with staff over the phone because my previous card kept being used. Also every time I called about my reservation it seemed there was difficulty in finding it for staff.

I picked the 24/7 truck share so I could pick up the truck at 7:30am before the store opened so I wouldn't waste my Sunday moving all day as we just needed to make one trip and it would only take a couple hours. When I got there 15 minutes early as the email suggested. I was unable to pick up my truck and told I had to wait until the store opened at 9. I was very upset. I called customer service and explained the situation the credited me 50 dollars back. I explained to them this was ridiculous and I didn't think I should have to pay for my rental because this was there mistake not mine. She told me I would have to discuss with general manager of the store when I got there. So after waiting almost two hours I went in and tried to explain to him what happened. He wasn't concerned about the situation at all. He didn't act like he cared at all. Didn't apologize. Then I told him I didn't feel like I should have to pay and he then gave me a total with the same price I was supposed to pay which was 60 something. I said there's nothing you could do. He's like oh, I forgot. Then gave me a total for 48. After looking at the receipt. Nothing was taken off my bill. I still paid 34.99 and mileage for the truck. I was very disappointed and won't be back. Very unprofessional.

I'm not sure if they were just short staffed or not, but there seemed to only be one person doing anything while others that looked like they may work there were just standing around goofing off with some construction guys.

Hire people who have a focus on customer service. Absolutely terrible at 3 locations before I got a trailer. And then they tried overcharging me for a late return when I returned it same day. Never again.

The uhaul share app to return the truck isn't the best - cuz it took me an hour with the app and ended up calling customer service cuz i couldn't get it and its contactless return after hours - its not convenient like some say , its better to return during business hours so u dont have ussues returning it

There were 3 customersbin front of us, so it was kind of busy for them. When we handed the employee the key and told him we were returning it he said be right back but went to a different row than we parked. We went out to show him where the vehicle was which he responded I know. He checked the vehicle didnt say a word until i sent your receipt, anything else. Neither pick up or drop off employee seemed friendly or like they wanted to answer questions. The phone call I received from U-Haul was much more friendly than any in-person employee.

They let a customer budge ahead of me, and I had to spend an extra 1/2 hour before I could get hooked up and leave. And then on return they spent 20 minutes with another customer before I could get unhooked, inspected, and leave They spent all that time rating a customers tow capacity on their computer.

App could never find my location. Got there and the store had me set up in a different truck than the app, so spent forever trying to find keys. Truck had no ac on the hottest days of the year, power steering whines, oil pressure drops between 5 and 10 psi if you set at a light for too long, drivers side mirror vibrates so much its unusable, and possiable exhaust leak. I think it's time to change out those old GMC's. I guess expected more for what I actually got.

Checking in thru the uhaul page with my iPhone was IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! Thankful, we were delayed so long in trying to figure out a way (even talking by phone with one of your representatives) to check in online, that the store manager cane and opened up his store and took over checking us out. Need to fix and simplify your online check with an Apple iPhone!!!

The equipment I rented was not ready with my truck (I chose the contactless pick up) so I had to go inside the office anyway to request the items I'd reserved. The 26 foot truck I rented was very loud (something in the passenger door rattled loudly the entire time) and it had a lot of difficulty accelerating up any incline even though the truck was only half full. But it did get all of my things in one trip from point A to point B, eventually.

Again, I thought I would be dropping off the trailer close to where I was. Nope, I had to drive 40 minutes each way to drop off the trailer then return to help my kid. I didn't have the time to drive that far but I had no choice. It caused more stress than it should have.
