Loaders hit my truck and never repaired it, call center mid-represented times, storage unit was difficult to access and billing continued to be messed up. My gas tank was not full. Hard to tell until I went to fill it up as required. I put over 6 gallons in and manually shut off pump while it was still filling. I had driven 6 miles. I'm sure the small truck gets more than 1 mile per gallon.Eric H.

The truck I used a 10 foot model, had parts falling off of it as I drove down the road. The left front blinker housing literally fell out of the vehicle and was bouncing against the front wheel as I drove down interstate 40. In addition the weather seal on the wind left side of the windshield also pulled off as I was driving down the highway and started flapping against the left mirror. My guess is that that vehicle was in an accident a while ago and whoever repaired it did a really bad job. In its current condition it is not safe to drive. Please call me if you have any questions. After being refused drop off at several locations, this location tried to refuse me as well after I had changed the drop-off location at the 800 number. It took her 10 minutes and arguing to get her to take the trailer. They were very obviously put out by the fact that I had dropped it off there because they felt they already had too many. I had to drive 45 minutes to get to the location after all the other closer locations refused to take my trailer. It was a terrible experience. I will not recommend or use Uhaul in the future if I can help it.Tammie M.
The trailer I was rented was full of dirt and ants and was compounded by water entering the trailer ruining many of our belongings. There was a visible patch on the roof of the trailer which I'm assuming is where the water leaked in from the rain. I called Uhaul and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I was directed to file a claim with repwest which I was then on hold with them and then a recording came on and directed me to file a claim on their website and then repwest contacted me to tell me that Uhaul does not need to cover damage caused by water or ants or dirt. If I wasn't worried about damage to my belongings, I would have acquired an open trailer instead of an enclosed one. Unbelievable that one cannot safely assume your belongings are safe when spending hard earned money on an enclosed trailer. Moving is difficult enough, getting to your destination and finding your stuff all messed up and then having to remove wet boxes after a 12 hour trip with two kids and a dog is just miserable. When I arrived to drop off the trailer I was told I was in the wrong place. I showed my paperwork and advised I confirmed online the drop off prior with Uhaul. I drove past several Uhaul places to get to this one but I was not given any other choice for drop off but this one. He unhooked it so I could be on my way. The person was nice, just frustrated that he had to take in a trailer with no where to put it. There were several people there trying to drop off at the same time.Michael K.

I believe that the new manager has brought the quality of service and customer care up to a great level. I was not pleased with the previous manager's lack of care in that department. I would be hesitant in recommending an outdoor unit there for several reasons- My storage unit always had leaves on the floor and puddles of water water beneath my boxes. I had to use a tiny 'rope' to pull my door open with, which left my hands hurting. Also , the door would come down and almost hit my head if I didn't grab it on its way back down and give it an extra hard push over my head. These are easy fixes, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend outdoor units were those things taken care of.Mary B. | Overall Experience

The vehicle had less than half a tank of gas upon pickup (143 miles until empty). After refilling the gas tank (130 miles until empty)and returning the vehicle to a different location, I was charged almost $30 for gas.Diana C.
Only 1 staff on duty, very busy. It took 2 hrs to get my vehicle hooked up tp trailer so I could go. When I arrived at drop off Uhaul 6hrs drive later my vehicle was being held on the trailer by 1 chain in back. the chain in front wasn't hooked and both tie down straps on my front tires were laying on the trailer not strapped down to my tires. I'm so lucky my vehicle didn't roll off the back of the trailer.REGINA W.

The access doors were rarely unlocked by opening time. The alarm would go off when I opened my unit even though each time I would carefully use my entrance card. The surly manager would charge up demanding to know if I used my card. I told him yes I had just like last time he asked. He said he was just making sure policies were followed. This was ironic since he refused to EVER wear a mask despite city and company policies calling for him to wear one like most of the other staff. This was like walking in to see him flipping both middle fingers at those who wear masks. I got tired of it and closed my unit down early. We have options and you should take your storage business to places where they care. They will use short staffing due to Covid no doubt, but that wouldn't explain refusal to care about the health and safety of customers.James V. | Overall Experience

I only stayed 2 days because the into had insulation falling from the ceiling and what appeared to be water damage . I earned a month of free storage after spending over $2,000 on a truck and trailer reservation in November. I moved out a week before the end of the month but kept receiving invoices for balance due. Tried to contact the GM many times but never heard back. After the most recent email talking of collections and liens I called again and finally spoke to a service agent elsewhere. The ONLY comment I have is the storage room and the area of the building where the our space was SMELLED AWFUL! It has an odor like a rat smell. We were very happy we were getting our furniture out as I imagine if we were there longer we would not have been able to get the smell out. The lady in the store was so busy when I came in, helping her crew get a rental cleaned and ready for a customer, taking care of sales, helping me get a unit and even parked my truck for me to unload it conveniently and not affect other customers. The few people working were stressed, cold & very irritated. I witnessed them being very short with every person in there, acting as if we were all a bother & inconvenience during their busy day. After waiting 20-30 minutes to be set up with my storage unit (My second time coming back bc I was told they were too busy to do it earlier in the day), when I explained what I was there for, the guy literally dropped his head in frustration & audibly sighed while shaking it back & forth. They were very busy & seemingly short staffed, but it was unprofessional & extremely uncomfortable for them to take that out on every customer there.
