One employee working at 9am on Sunday. When I walked in he had 9 people in line. The internet was down so he was having to check people out on his phone. Location was out of rentable moving blankets. That being said I got charged for the moving blankets bc of an issue with pre-check out- your website didn't know they were out of blankets. The man couldn't void the cost of the blankets using his phone. It took me almost an hour past reservation time to get my vehicle and I was subsequently late to return it due to this. The truck was not there. They said the other location should have notified me by e-mail, which they did not. The other location was 12 miles away in city traffic, which was about $7 dollars in gas round trip at 10 mpg. I would not recommed U-haul to anyone.Dennis B.
Hire more employees! The ones that are there are very helpful and friendly but this location is far too busy for only one or two people. This was also the case a few months ago when I was there. First off I get to uhaul at 515 after being on a 95 minute call wait time. Online they say they are open until 7 and when I get there the signs say they close at 5. I try to mobile pick up the 17ft truck I rented and it won't let me check in to get the truck. I see a employee walk out of uhaul around 6ish I'm guessing he was the manager and he tells me the truck I already reserved and paid for was stolen today. I was never told this. So I end up getting a 15ft truck and by the time all of this is said and done I'm leaving uhaul at 645 to move all of my stuff. This set me back by about 4 hours and having a smaller truck then needed I had to take 2 extra trips and didn't even finish all of my moving. I'm very upset with uhaul now because I have to spend more money to get another uhaul today to finish the move.Evan D.

Hire more help. Increase inventory of pickup trucks, Give Jon Mark Barrows a huge raise. He saved U-Hauls cookies by single-handley opening the store with 30 customers waiting and managed their needs with precision and grace.Kenneth P.

First, I arrived at 9a to pick up my truck via the 24/7 share. The app stated that no equipment was assigned to me. They hadn't prepared my truck the night before for the early pick up. So had I needed the truck any earlier then I would have been shit out of luck. However the store was just opening. The lady opening said she had to check in a truck and clean it. By the time she had cleaned it, 6 other people were waiting and I still couldnt check in on the app because it was requiring an alternate phone number and contact. What if I didn't have one? Again.... Shit out of luck.... What if I needed the truck at 3a? Oh, you'd still call people that early and inconvenience them? Again, I'd be shit out of luck. While everyone was waiting three was another employee sitting inside an office right next to the cashier's desk with the door open and sitting on a computer the entire time.and he said not a word to me or anyone else waiting. When I finally got my truck, I got the spiel from the lady about everything and was told that when done I should drop the key off in the drop box. So I finished my move and dropped the truck off at 3pm and put the key in the Dropbox as requested. The next day I get my receipt and lo and behold I have a charge for an "after hours service charge." But why? Oh because apparently I was supposed to turn the key in person even though I was never told that. And now they want to dispute refunding me the charge even though I never did anything after hours. Horrible experience and will never shop uhaul again.Kyle M.

Thus, had to wait a day to get truck & had to reschedule loaders (booked thru Uhaul). That cost an extra $50 to get them to work on a Sunday. Nightmare experience all around. The online check-in was a nightmare. Despite having a full 5G signal, the process was extremely slow. Coming back, it was even worse. You're app would continually not accept my picture of the odometer and gas level. I went to go get help inside and the store was closed 2.5 hours early due to short staffing. I finally gave up and just put the keys in the drop box, not knowing what will happen... there was no way for help. It was all a horrible experience.Mark T.

Would like to give a higher rating because the person we worked with was great but it felt like for a facility of this size it was understaffed. Our truck was not ready to go when we arrived (it had a cargo door that would not open). We had also requested 10 dozen blankets a month in advance and arrived to find out that they did not have any! Understandable that this could happen but why weren't we notified earlier. The day before a 2400 mile trip left us with zero options. Again, person we worked with was awesome (sympathetic and was trying to make things right). Seems like the U-Haul reservation system and understaffing are the issues.Christopher S.

I earned a month of free storage after spending over $2,000 on a truck and trailer reservation in November. I moved out a week before the end of the month but kept receiving invoices for balance due. Tried to contact the GM many times but never heard back. After the most recent email talking of collections and liens I called again and finally spoke to a service agent elsewhere. We were very happy we were getting our furniture out as I imagine if we were there longer we would not have been able to get the smell out.
