1. Tell customers how to remove zip tags when they check in to save confusion. 2. Tell customers that there may be a rat box in their unit at check in to save confusion. 3. I showed up one day to put stuff in the storage unit and it was double locked w a red lock. I went to the counter to inquire why the lady stated there were no notes in the computer so she had no idea and took the red lock off.

I would not recommend uhaul to a dead dog. Not any location at any time. let me say what I was told I am Sorry. I am sorry you don't stand by your quotes. I am sorry I every made the phone call to this company. I am sorry that I will never have a good thing to say about this company and I am so so so sorry I did not read the reviews before I rented from this company. the review rating for this company is a 2.7 how did I miss this 2.7 that is embarrassing if I was the head of a company that had those kind of reviews I would at least try to make things right and for people like me that just simply made the mistake in trusting in the name. I AM SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this helps someone else from falling victim to your scams and dishonesty.

Make sure rental is ready, basic safety check. Van broke down due to radiator cap missing and overheating. Was driving on freeway and had to pull over every 10min. Took me 4 hours to do a 20min pickup and had to wait 60min for repair.

Since I dropped the vehicle off after hours, I was forced to download the app or pay $20 for "convenience". Then towards the end of the checkout process, it kicked me out and would not let me back in. Called customer service and it was resolved but very unhappy that I had to take additional time and download an app that I didn't want to use and that doesn't even work

Have your counter person care a little more about the consumer and verbalize a couple important items although they are in the print. People might be in a rush or emergency situation or it's early in the morning where they aren't all with it yet! Maybe your employees can learn to act like they car.

Checking in . The attendant acted like I was bothering her. Just handed me a key and said your truck is somewhere on this side wall in the parking lot. No other explanation. Checking back in was great . Attendant very helpful!

Both times I've used this location the employees had horrible attitudes and poor work ethics. The employee on 11/9/24 would rather sit in his personal truck with his "friend" who doesn't even work there than actually help customers. Very lazy and rude. Dismissive to customers. I'll try to avoid this location next time.

After a terrible experience with a local moving company that ended up with my furniture not being moved, I appreciate the ease of this transaction even more. #1. It was a very cold morning and as I was wandering around the parking lot looking at every license plate to find my truck that was assigned to me, I was already dreading hopping up into a cold cab with vinyl seats, shivering for five minutes until the truck warmed up. To my surprise it was pre-warmed. Love it! It made the start of my big day ahead of me much more pleasant. Thank you! It's the little things. #2. When I returned my truck, I had left something on the dashboard. Even though it looked unimportant, they called me anyway to see if I wanted it. Indeed I did! Thank you! Greatly appreciated. 

The inside of the trailer had a small section of oily, dirty dirt. One of the side triangular wedges in front of the drivers side fender was damaged. That damage was not noted in the pictures you have to ok at the time of rental. The main problem I had was that the online reservation I made, was changed for some reason for the drop off place. That change cost me about $30.00 more.

Very disappointed with my van rental experience! The van smelled of noxious chemicals and I found a used vape device on the drivers seat. The gas tank was 1/8th full with the gas empty light already on and the tire pressure low sensors activated as well.

This facility is not user friendly! The garage door won't open for the indoor vehicle access bay. The ebtry door has sloped concrete and a giant step to get to the doors - there's no flat land to carry your stuff in or out. The facility is not disabled-friendly because of this. Upon checkout, the counter-boys made me drive back up and around the building to take a photo of my empty cube. This bread factory is not equipped to be a friendly storage place!

Ripping off your customers is probably not a good business practice. Stealing almost a month worth of storage rent is theft, regardless if it's a corporation or a person. U-Haul will never get another nickel of my money. And if you think I'm angry, I'm not. I've just learned my lesson, three times now. I intend to call the Better Business Bureau. Have a happy day. They rented me a truck where the AC didnt work… I brought it up to them after I returned it, and they said yes we know it doesn't work, We've been trying to get it fixed for weeks now… I asked very politely then why would you rent, a truck that doesn't have AC on a day where it's over 90° outside. They had no response nor did they seem to care. I would like a discount I was in this vehicle for 80 miles plus, I was extremely uncomfortable. thank you for your consideration Charles Garric.

They rented me the wrong size unit without getting approval from me, tried to tell me I didn't have a rental after I paid, and were pissy on the phone when they finally answered. Corporate was just as bad. Turns out someone spelled my name wrong! Interesting since it was an online form. I still don't see a rental under my account. The ONLY reason I'm staying is because the unidentified dudebro on the phone switched me to the right size unit and "promised" to fix the spelling of my name. I don't trust any of them but I have no choice and need a unit

Everything is good but online the description about the size and the way the look and how much it fits not even close to the reality as I have to get 3 units to fit one bedroom apartment without the bed and other small items, it is very expensive for that size.

Just a mildew mold, water problem. Security issues handled. Thank you, Slainte two thumbs up employee #1 please get the documentation corrected uhaul corrected. Thank you. Employee #2 understands and I trust will be proactive now. Thank employee #2 Lava rock mildew odor absorption packs (recharge with sunlight) remove the reuse crap. It's a tipoff and represents list revenue and likely has really mildewy crap at the bottom u cannot see

We're thinking about renting again, but I don't think it's right that you have to charge us for a lock every time that we rent from you guys when we use the same lock that's not right! Then yesterday the gentleman asked me if I was returning the lock. Are you kidding me after we paid for it! Service was poor. Did not have the unit i reserved. Whats the point of a reserve if its not there? The service attendee kept repeating this isnt my store, i need to leave i hate it hear, i dont know what i am doing . Then gave me the a inactivated card and messed up the pin. So i spent an hour waiting to get into a smaller than requested locker. Than the worker gave attitude about what we were able to us.

The security "arm" and "disarm" when accessing the units is a little confusing; it wasn't clear (even the signage) that one would re-arm their unit. One would think it'll re-arm itself over time (which it likely does anyways I assume). Would be better to call it "check-in" and "check-out" as it's more natural to assume to "check-out" and re-arm the system.

My truck rental was cancelled without notice. When I arrived on time to pick up the truck, that is when I was told it was cancelled. I was then offered a more expensive option because the truck I reserved and paid for was not available. I was not offered a discount or the $50 advertised compensation for the inconvenience. Somehow the truck I rented was cancelled but the free month storage space was not cancelled.

my only issue was the zip tie on the unit. i understand why it is there and was not told there would be one on the unit. if customers are made aware they could bring something to cut it off with. i had nothing to cut it off with, so i had to walk all the way back to the office to borrow a pair of sissors, then back to return them when i was finished, a mild inconvenience.

I called corporate office and told them someone stole chairs out of my truck. They said had to contact my facility because they didn't have access to cameras. I contacted them and was told they would review cameras and get back to me in a day or 2.. I never received a phone call from anyone. Nor a return call from corporate to see if my issue was handled. 

The storage facility itself was well-lit, but not my unit. Also, my unit was locate in the worst possible area, where there was an opening and what looked like incomplete construction above, on the ceiling. It was creepy! I've had much better storage units.

Our house flooded and these are the items not impacted by the flood, but would be in danger of left alone while home dries. We appreciate that we were treated like family during this crisis. Facility layout is perfect and it allowed us to move things in quickly so we could keep returning to the home and retrieve salvageable personal belongings. Very clean and nicely lit, I stored a piano and antique clocks and mirrors that were my grandparents, everything was very clean and I felt very comfortable and new my items were safe here. Definitely will use uhaul again for my storage needs in the future.

Gabbie was absolutely the most friendly, knowledgeable, n helpful employee at this location. My only issue would be is if u had/have employees from other locations to fill in/cover that they be trained to do the job. I found it very difficult to do what I needed when the only employee that was there came from a different location and was very animent to tell me that he's only certified to fill propane tanks. Really? Then why is he even there? I ended up comin back 3 times just to get another unit cause he neglected to tell/inform me that the person who was there the next day got off early making it difficult for me to store anything on the day that I absolutely needed it. That was not only frustrating but left me extremely annoyed especially when he laughed. I seriously didn't think there was anything funny about it. Training in all aspects of the job, regardless of which location they're from, and whether or not they have storage at there location or not, they should be trained before going to a location that does more than just fill propane tanks. This can not only be annoying but also extremely frustrating, especially when you have employees laugh and think its funny that I/anyone have to continue to go back and forth just to have something done on something they should have already been trained to do in the first place.

We were helped by a very nice young man. Rented room 2388. we needed a lock so bought one and also paid insurance of $7.95 for first month. We picked 4 digit code to get into the building. He was not sure of order entering # or* Later got that from another employee. When we opened room there was a new lock laying on the floor. We used lock we bought on unit. I took found lock to office. Young man was not there. Another man who was from Kent location advised the found lock was included with the rental. I showed him our receipt that we had bought a lock. He wasn"t sure how to issue a refund so advised I come back when Manager was there Had him note on receipt that I had brought the found lock to office. We are happy with location of the room and was it was clean. We appreciate fact that first month was no charge also. I will stop in when we bring boxes to storage. Employees we interacted with were helpful and pleasant. Thank you Susan Coldwell

It was fine. When I was moving into the storage unit I was told to go through one area but I needed to go through the other. I had some heavy stuff to store but there was no elevator to go from the second level to the first to where my unit was on the first. I spent a lot of time trying to find my unit from the oneside. The directions for the entry code are confusing for a first time user. Ultimately this was a good facilty just that first day I moved stuff in I could have used a little more help.

They were able to get me in after a different storage facility gave my reserved unit away. The other place then tried to give me an outside unit which I did not request I specifically wanted climate controlled but the new outside unit was infested with roaches. I came to uhaul they were able to accommodate me immediately with a climate controlled unit. The staff was really nice and the unit was really clean.

This is most unorganized place I have ever seen. We were at the facility at 6:45AM to make sure we were there when it opened to empty the unit. We were told that the night before closing person locked the keys INSIDE. Not sure how you locked the INSIDE then leave but guess anything is possible. The employees seem to have attitudes about management and working there. We over heard an employee telling another that he is about to quit because of manager. Being a manager at a store myself, you DO NOT voice your opinions about the store, employees or the manager ANY WHERE on the floor or behind the counter where customers can hear. 2- There needs to be at least 1Employee that can make decisions ON EVERY SHIFT.
