The employee Andrelle was extra helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. His co-worker was hours late and he was dealing with a long line of customers including a very rude one who demanded that Andrelle help him load his car onto a trailer off site somewhere. He was actually running to get peoples trailers and get them on the road quick. He clearly deserves a raise!!!JOSEPH C.

I rented a 10ft. I could only rent for four hours at the same price of a 24 hr rental. Truck was 19.99 billed was 60 dollars. The truck was returned in around 2 hr. The emailed receipt was so small. I could not read how the 60 fee was reached. I also requested a dolly which I never got. So I assume I was charge for that. Your prices leave a lot to be desire.DIANA D.

The truck cab was dirty , especially the steering wheel and door handles. I spent 30 min after picking up the truck to clean it with disinfecting wipes, etc.I was surprised with covid 19 conditions that this was overlooked. The cab was also missing a vent grille, Not giving much confidence in the way the truck was maintained.JUAN G.
The only thing lacking from the location is decent cellphone service, which was necessary to complete the equipment/truck return. Instead I had to pay $20 for the staff to verify the return.AMANDA T.

I marked number 5 as "no" because of a maintenance issue. I rented and paid for a CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit, yet the air conditioning was out for months. UHaul still charged me the premium rate. Ubox latches did not line up when unit was delivered. Either a new door was installed or new hasps put on and alignment was not checked. I had to move them to be able to secure my unit. Not a major thing for me, but note worthy because other people would have a fit.nicholas H.

I was charged $150 for a dolly because it was returned to the pickup location instead of the drop off due to space. It was charged to my account the morning of the trailer drop off without being called as to the location of the dolly. When I spoke to the agent and told where it was returned, and a confirmation was sent by the pickup location it's now been over a week and the $150 still has not been credited to my account. It's poor service to be so eager to charge without an inquiry, then take more than a week to reimburse the mistake. I will call the home office for uhaul regarding the delay.KENNA M.

It would have been a nice service for the attendant that was working with the equipment to help me unhook the trailer. He was standing 20 feet away working on something else and would have provided a good service by helping me unhitch my trailer.DAVID F.

I had used this location about 1.5 years before. Precious the manager was great and everything I ordered was delivered. However this last experience was totally different. I had prereserved the truck and storage area. When I arrived for the truck they did not have the dolly that I had ordered. Since I was moving from a second story apartment with MANY boxes this was unacceptable!! The clerk did try to find a dolly from another facility but was not successful. The truck that was recommended did NOT hold all of my belongings. Also I thought I had reserved the largest climate controlled storage unit but when my truck with belongings arrived they did NOT have the unit Available. So I wound up having to rent 2 units which cost A LOT more. I would recommend that you personally check your truck and storage unit BEFORE your moving day. I didn't and got scr***d. I was misled into thinking that I would incur certain costs based on your first estimator and found final cost to be grossly misleading. Had I known before hand I might not have agreed to transaction. I understand there was a difference in the mileage. Most issues are from the Colorado location. However the NC location put a lien on a ubox for me to make a late payment on a box that was returned empty. An employee put the box back into storage. When I tried to get my uboxes picked up it was to inconvenient and had to be spread out over 4 days. For me it qould have been nice to get all in 1 day.BRYAN M.

Although I give my pick-up location an excellent rating, I would give U-Haul and overall rating of "Average". This is because the refuel policy is a blatant ripoff. The upfront rental cost appears to be a good deal, but the refuel policy is a scam that adds excessively to the overall cost, especially on a short haul, one-day rental. I drove my rental a total of approx. 42 miles, and re-fueled the truck just before returning it. It took 20 gallons of gas to comply with U-Haul's re-fuel policy, so that means I got about 2 miles per gallon. Either the U-Haul trucks are hugely fuel inefficient, or else U-Haul tampers with the fuel gauges in some way. U-Haul can improve by abandoning the re-fuel scam and instead provide trucks with a verified full tank. If this requires increasing the upfront costs to replace the lost revenue from the re-fuel scam then that's what U-Haul should do. Next time I rent a truck I'll be looking at other rental agencies who provide a truck with a full tank at the time of pick-up.Jeffrey F.

57 minutes wait time on customer service or more. Called about 8 different times. Each time it was the same. Was told a pick up date .Rush to make sure the boxes were empty. The team member at the counter was super helpful and did a great job helping me. What I am beyond disappointed with is the U-Haul app. Whoever wrote the app needs to revise how it works; it literally is the least helpful tool you can possibly have. STOP saying it would save time at the counter, it DOES NOT. I spent 20 minutes trying to "check-in" while it timed out, underperformed, and I eventually simply gave up and went inside the store. A nearby customer had a similar experience with the app taking him 1 HOUR before having to go inside. Please redesign the app or STOP advertising as a time-saving tool, IT IS NOT HELPFUL.Walter S.

1st they have to care. Nest a little energy would be appreciated. The S hooks and chains would not fit through my stock hitch tyatvyour website said compatible. This cost me 45 minutes and $16 for 2 large chain links. When returning the trailer they wanted me to put it back where I got it from on the lot and never came out to confirm no damage to the trailer. We reported the smell of hydralic or brake fluid each time we stopped. No confidence this will be addressed before rented again. You need new peopleJAMES W.

Worst experience ever. Picked up truck and website wouldn't work or internet, tried for 30 min or longer to get service. The truck started that am. We drove to house to load up and when we were ready to leave, it wouldn't start. Waited for 3 hours for someone to show up to give new battery, and the antifreeze was almost empty. Service Truck showed up and said he only had authority to jump us off. We drove 3 or 4 hours, stopped to get supper and the truck wouldn't start again. Waited for 45 min for service truck, finally showed up, said he would jump us off. Told him we already did that and we wanted battery. He had to leave to go get tools and battery. An hour later we were back on road. We did not stop except for gas, afraid to turn it off. Had to drive all the way through from NC to Louisiana. I should have gotten a full refund for that awful experience. Will go to Hertz or someone else in the future.Vikki P.
