The website generated 2 Ubox reservations due to an error. I called to have one canceled and could see one active from your website after my call. Once on-site in Cathedral City, CA to load my Ubox, I was informed that there were none available despite seeing a valid reservation from the website. The manager, Spencer directed me to load up in Indio. I protested, and he relented to have one transported to the Catherdal City location, which delayed my schedule. Apparently, the drop-off facility that I was able to select from your website no longer receives Uboxes. Once again, I am having to re-adjust my plans due to incorrect information. Great product, horrible management of website, U-haul. Sad Bear here...Andrew M.

Provide some onsite parking for customers, so they don't have to park their cars on the street. The website didn't work for returning the truck after hoursâ€" it was unable to verify my location even though I enabled location (I have an updated iphone 11, and I am comfortable using different apps and websites). I had reserved a trailer months prior to pick up in Valley of Enchantment. On the day before my pick up date, I was informed that none were available. I had to drive 170 miles round trip to this site if I wanted a trailer. This is a problem with uhaul in general, not specific to this location. One of the tires was bald and they exchanged it for a better one after we called it to their attention.Lynn A.

The employees I encountered upon arriving to pick up my truck were useless. I was doing mobile pick up and specifically stopped at the location 3 days prior to ask the girl working there if the boxes out front were where I get the keys from the day of the pick up she told me yes. On the day of the pick up I arrived and started the mobile check in. I asked the guy in the lot where the numbers were on the trucks he told me top right corner. I expected the truck I was picking up to be out front easy to spot. I walked around for several minutes looking looking looking not being able to find my truck. I approached the guy in the lot who saw me walking all around and said, am I supposed to walk around all morning looking for my truck, he said ,well you could of asked me? I replied, well you've seen my walking around obviously looking for the truck for awhile it be nice if you had asked if I need help. This guy obviously hates his job and has no interest in being there really. Sad for the dude. After he found the truck parked behind another truck he said you need to go in and get the keys! So much for mobile pick up where I was told the keys would be in a lock box out front. I will never go back to this location ever againMichael T.

Made a reservation way before hand and got a phonecall late in the afternoon the date before my reservation was due telling me they did not have the vehicle I requested. Makes no sense as to why you're allowed to make a reservation ahead of time if uhaul does nothing to get your requested vehicle.Ezequiel R.

I rented a trailer in Cathedral City in October (after having a hitch installed on the van) and drove to San Rafael and left it there around October 10th or there abouts. It was a very convenient location. The only unhappy issue was the installation in Cat City of the hitch - somehow the installed damaged my muffler and when I left Cat City to go to San Rafael as I came near the Morongo Casino in Cabazon CA, the muffler fell down and banged the cement causing the tail pipe to pop up and it burned a hole in my fibreglass bumper. This was a very unhappy event and now I have an awful looking burn hold in my rear bumper. Other than that, everything else was fine. MICHAEL SMITHMichael S.

I rented a 20 ft truck to go 1 way to cat city & was told I got a few storage for a month. I was told it wAs 10x8x5. (It's your business & you should know that a 20 ft truck worth of stuff won't fit 1/4 of my belongings in, so what should have taken 4-5 hrs took all day (I'm disabled w a broken neck). I had to move my stuff to a different storage then bring the truck back. I would expect some kind of refund or a free truck for my reservation on the 8th as the 3 things & confirmation # were wrong. I had difficulty with the hasps on the locker. Two uhaul locks were very difficult accommodate to the hasps. The employees were great and very helpful. The facility itself was fine, and the service I received actually went above and beyond; but I cannot recommend this location. During the 5 or 6 times I visited the office, there was always at least one employee inside (usually more) with no mask. Those who did have masks often would only wear them when customers entered, or would wear them improperly (many customers followed suit). It does not take a rocket scientist to understand how masks work, but many of the employees at this location seem to either not understand or not care. I should mention that there was one female employee (blonde) that seemed to always have her mask on, and she should be duly commended. Sadly most of the other employees working inside (predominantly the young males) didn't seem to take it seriously whatsoever.Joshua D. | Overall Experience

I was told that I was to receive a 10x15 unit and was given a reservation number. When I arrived at the location, I was told that they couldn't locate my reservation and that there were no more units available in that size. I had just driven 590 miles, had a truck full of items to be stored and I was extremely tired. This was not good news. The young man behind the counter was kind and pleasant but could only offer me a 10x10. I am extremely unhappy! I was given a trailer with retread tires and one came off during the trip, costing me $123 to buy a new one. Then when getting to my end destination, I was charged insurance on the storage unit, but never got one, even though I had one reserved! This meant that I had to book in overnight in Palm desert costing me $ 156 so that I am able to arrange a storage unit elsewhere the following day at a more expensive rate. So no, I am not happy, but this will be heard by everyone I know, and I will post this on my LinkedIn profile where I have in excess of 1,000 top CEO's and Presidents of Companies as connections. Our first contact was with a employee named Jose. He was rude and unhelpful. We asked if we could get the 1 month free storage so we could unload our truck on 6/10 and then go unload the remainder of our belongings and then turn the truck in. It was 104* that day! It was 11am and the truck was not due to turn in until that Friday 6/12. He rudely said No! and would not discuss it. As we were leaving two other employees both named Chris were amazing and helpful. They proceeded to get in contact with Whitney the asst mgr. who was amazing as well. WE were able to get into the storage unit and off load the items and then turned the truck in earlier than expected. What is a shame is the very first contact we had with anyone in Palm Springs was Jose. JERK! Thank you Whitney and both Chris's.
