My whole experience at this U-Haul couldn't have been easier. Everybody I interacted with was helpful and friendly, fast and efficient. I originally reserved a pickup truck but it was rainy so I was able to switch to a van with no trouble. The interactive smartphone features were easy to use and very accurate in documenting the van's condition.The cost was really affordable particularly for the in-town moving I needed to do. I will definitely use U-Haul again.

Excellent customer service from the lady checking me in. There was not an attendant on the lot to assist with returns.

This is my 3rd time using this facility. Excellent staff. I had some difficulty using the uhaul app but the gentleman who checked me in manually reloaded my info and got me on my way quickly. Very helpful fellow and went above and beyond to help me get pads and lft and cardboard boxes. Thank you again.

Uhaul owner sent random charge of $250 for a "nail in tire" that did not happen while I had the vehicle. Extremely upset about the fake damage charge with absolutely no proof or incident. Requesting immediate removal of this damage charge.

The staff closed early and refused to help me return the van. They told me to be back by 445pm when I picked up the van, I was at the door by 440 and it was locked. The signage says they close at 5, yet the employee who cracked the door open a few inches refused to help me saying, "sorry, we already closed the lot, so you have to move the van then go online to return it." I've used the online features before and do not like them at all. They're clunky, disjointed, and time consuming. The whole experience was frustrating.

The team was very helpful but I’m concerned that a truck was rented that the company knowingly had battery issues, which caused us a major inconvenience. We’re lucky we were moving within DC and not to another city. With that being said the staff was great - the main problem was the physical truck.

They are frauds. Asked if I had taken insurance. When I said no he walked around the van directly to a an area and said what did I hit. He pointed to a spot already marked. Then started rubbing the dirt off making it look like something had brushed off the dirt. Prior to him rubbing off the dirt which was consistent with the rest of the area. I went to the counter to dispute the lot mans assertion. The counter man agreed and said to tell the lot man all was good which I did. Then when checking the charge they charged my card with the 20% off the damages I agreed to the charge discount. That never happened. I intend to post this on facebook every day till these charges are removed from my card.

Staff (Rep Royal) was friendly, courteous and informative. Made my experience enjoyable and she should be recognized for her outstanding customer service. With respect to the rental 10Ft U Haul Truck, the car drove good. Since it was storming yesterday, I used the windshield wipers and they definitely need to be replaced. They screeched and it was difficult to see. The vehicles also had some scratches but took pics and shared them via text link I was forwarded. Other than that, I would highly recommend this location and seeing Ms. Royal.

Equipment was not completely clean, smelled like cigarettes or something similar and I found rest f food inside the passengers' cabin. I was also overcharge for gasoline.

Very bad service. I was 20 min late Andy reservation got cancelled and they didn’t have the truck anymore because they over book them. So the agent made me another reservation to a truck/ place that wasn’t available also. So they kept sending me from one place to another for trucks that weren’t available. Very bad service.

I spoke with James before pickup and he was a great help and wonderfully kind. Please give him extra kudos I told him in person, but I really hope he will also hear it from corporate. Earlier in the morning I spoke to a girl I’m not sure what her name was but she was rude, unhelpful, and her information was incorrect. Luckily I called back and got James when I went to the location for pickup he helped me checkout and was awesome!

The UHaul person at K St. to whom I returned the cargo van to apparently made a mistake and is trying to charge me for gas. When returning the van, I explained to him I had already gotten more than enough gas to leave the tank at the same level it was when I got it. I called to complain and they told me they would investigate and call me back. I am still waiting for the call. If UHaul doesn't fix this billing mistake, I will have to dispute the transaction. I was a little disappointed that the van wasn’t ready for mobile pickup but overall this location has been very good. I rent monthly and this was the only time the van wasn’t ready. So, I am still very happy with this location. Hope the van will be ready for mobile pickup next month, because I love the mobile pickup option.

The crates were dirty. From sticky stuff, hair, and potting soil, I had to wash and dry every crate before using. Your website says the totes would be clean. Mine were far from it. But they are very clean when I returned them.

One of my employees used the Uhaul app a few months ago. Her phone number is now tied to all of our reservations as the primary contact number. It is not entered in the website during reservation requests, but the computers at the store have added it back in on two separate rentals since then. I will not be using the website if it is going to be inaccurate, and I will try the app instead.
