If you see someone with a disability, you might offer reduced rates or subsidizing the moves, to help that person move. I have one hand and did all the moving by myself. I understand its the COVIS-19 that matters so no harm. I will be renting again in the future.

I’ve used this location several times to rent vehicles but this case my lower review is based on your online pick up experience. Not only when I arrived to pick up the vehicle were there extra steps that could have been done in advance while on a desktop, the online chat feature was slow, and the representative dismissive and unhelpful. To be honest, your online pick up is one of the worst experiences I have had renting a vehicle.

The employees was rude, she has an actitud, she even was talking bad about me with the other employee, the other employee was cursing, how is economy right now and a lot people they should be happy they got a job! But some people are not grateful at all!

I received the truck with 7/8 tank and was expected to bring it back at the same fuel level. Obviouosly, that is not feasible. I had to bring it back full, but did not get a credit for the extra gas. I believe it is standard practice to give a vehicle with a full tank. Given that the vehicle has a 25 gallon tank, and it was provided 7/8 full, that is about 3 gallons short. I should have received about a $7.50 credit for the extra gas I put in given that y'all charge for mileage.

I was told by the young man I check in on Saturday the 14th that I was not gonna be charge for gas he charged me for 2.5 gallons which is so wrong. I went on to explain and show Him a picture of when I checked out the vehicle on Friday it showed I had a little bit over a quarter tank 3/8 when I was given the contract on Friday the young man had wrote half a tank when I got to the vehicle it showed approximately3/8 of a tank.

I was way overcharged. Hidden fees, complicated mobile process requiring location services and DIY photos, hidden drop off fee. I was charged more than 4 times the quoted price. I'm going to get some of my money back for the deceptive prqctices employed.

What is the point of uploading pictures of my drivers license in advance? The system makes me upload it again anyway. So I guess I’ll just ignore the advance requests. Maybe you should stop sending advance requests - or better yet, fix the system.

I would NOT recommend Uhaul to anyone because the random fees you hide and add afterwards are pretty ridiculous. I was set at $45 before my reservation and ended with $90. A cleaning fee that is half the cost of the rental should be added at check out in the first place, not hidden into the receipt.

The employees were nice and professional but the truck that I rented was terrible. The steering was stiff, the transmission was slipping and it had over 120k miles on it. The worker offered to omit the dolly fee due to my inconvenience but I would have appreciated a better discount.

My uHaul representative who checked me in was perfection! He adjusted my reservation because I had somehow messed it up online and he was super helpful. Other than that - totally normal uHaul experience and he made it a great one!

They had to redo my order at the counter cuz I kept finding stuff wrong. This would have been a fine experience but the clerk forgot to change the hours from 5 to a requested change to 24. I needed the truck for a whole day which would have cost the same as 5 hours. But I see you guys in the receipt double charged me cuz he forgot to change the hours I requested. I'm definitely going to dispute this with my bank once it's posted.

This location is not suitable at all (!) for car owners. No parking space provided. I think they should advertise this properly in google maps. And you know parking in DC is not an easy task. Public parking starts from $18 and up. And you are luckily, if you find available one. So it’s better to rent a truck somewhere else with parking availability. Secondly, fuel level was not matching the readings in paperwork - 1/2 vs 3/7. Another $10 of extra expense. Even you take a photo as a proof, it’s hard to dispute it with store staff all they can say call customer service of Uhaul. Well, then what are they for there? So I just decided to donate extra of $10 for Uhaul’s sake. The truck supposed to be ready, so I had to wait outside for 15 mins in the freezing cold before some of their staff comes and pulls the truck. (If I knew I would just take the keys myself and move all other trucks that were blocking it).

Pick up was easy. Staff really nice. Truck was new, clean and easy to drive. Drop off after hours was frustrating. The app was not working so needed help from staff at the 1-800 number to complete. Will always use UHaul.

The guy who did my paper work gets a 5 STAR, the manager on the other hand i feel like he was having a bad day and the attitude shows there is plenty more but i want to keep this short. I will review every time from now on every time i vist i believe customer response is really help full hopeful my next visit is a 5 star

When I needed to delay my pick up time, the online booking service change my location without informing me. I arrived only to be delayed further because the reservation had been rebooked to another location. I do not have any recollection or notes that state that the pick up location would be altered with the time change (half an hour). The physical location was kind enough to help me, regardless, but the online reservation system has faults.

Make sure you don't charge for gas when a customer fills the gas more than when taken off the lot. I am not pleased about this and was charged 11.20, I understand oversights do happen and I look forward to being credited hassle free. Just a thought. Glad I took a picture of the gas level.

Really bad experience with an employee at the 1st and K, NE Home Depot. Chris Lyle runs a great shop that I’ve been renting trucks from for years. Karefa Fallay is a wild card that shouldn’t be in a customer service roll for anyone, and certainly not my favorite U-Haul.

Pickup and drop-off experience was great. Only not is that when I was coding which size truck/van to rent, it was not specified which ones came with a ramp and which didn't. I think there could have also been more information about how much furniture can fit into each size truck.
