No window washer in truck at pick up

I was billed wrongly for fuel and awaiting credit. I was told vehicle is outside and after searching for 5 minutes, when I couldn't find it, I was told it is on the rear side which was like a few minutes walk on icy/slippery gravel lot!! When I went to pick up the truck sharp at 10 AM, there was no one at service desk for 5-10 mins and I kept waiting. Overall, pretty poor customer service.

I think I was over charged for the milage. I only drove 50km but was charged for 55miles. For the amount of gas I used that would be impossible in a 1 ton truck.

My biggest problem was trying to find a copy of the receipt to be used for tax purposes that had the amount paid and the GST amount. Is it possible to have these available on the login page?

it was not easy to find the main entrance door..not marked well. even though i did the ride share no contact option, i still had to go inside and stand inline behind customer and wait, to get my key...i thought the ride share option would speed up the process and not make me stand in line?

Rented 15" truck that only came with 1/4 tank left. Was told to not refuel by the person helping me out. Return the trunk, got charged for $30 refueling fee (which the employee basically lied to me about) and I was charged for the cost of refueling a FULL TANK. When I clearly only used 1/4 as confirmed by the initial fuel reading and odometer records. Been over 48hrs since there was a response from UHaul. Terrible customer service I would not recommend this location to anybody.

My pick up location was changed without notification. The new location had two people working who were incredibly slow with no concern for the customers. We stood in line for 40 minutes and only one person had been helped. The lady at the desk was very rude and snarky. The truck had windows so dirty that we could barely see out of them. The truck had less than a quarter tank of gas and a broken passenger side seat belt. My experience was beyond terrible and I would recommended trying another rental company. I called their 1-800 number to complain and got passed to two or three different people and didn't get a single apology. Best they could do was $50 off. Thanks U-Haul.

One person working on the 1st day of the month, equipment was not clean, there was stacks of loose blankets piled in the back of the truck when I went to put in the blankets I had rented that I had to help clean out before I could leave. I was charged for more Fuel than I used, with photo evidence of the Fuel level when I returned the vehicle and a cleaning fee when the truck wasn't clean to begin with.

If a person only uses the equipment for one day, there should be a daily charge not a 3 day charge so you pricks can double charge for the same piece of equipment. Needless to say I'll never use uhaul again. I mean 500 fuckin dollars for a one day rental!! Get stuffed.

The guy sold us the wrong hitch after installing it on the vehicle himself, a 3” drop hitch, which made the trailer sag on the back end of the vehicle and then they wouldn't let us return it the next day. Made us buy a more expensive hitch And denied selling the wrong hitch to us the previous day.

Long que.Unfreindly website.we were rold to sign online to get the keys we could not see the steps.Drop off we were told to check the car in another error kept saying our lovation setting not enabled. That waa so stressful.

The service at the pick up location was fine and I cannot think of possible improvements. I've however had issues twice now with U-Haul. The first time was at another location years ago and this time with one of the online reps. I would really like to discuss with someone on phone as I'm really considering not using U-Haul again if I chose to rent moving vehicles/equipment.

I arrived at the location to pick up the trailer I was renting and there was no trailer, they sent me to another location who was suppose to wait for me to get there and he had no clue I was coming. Was put a little out of place when I called to confirm my trailer rental and signed in on line and there was not trailer, that was time and more money than I expected to pay driving around

Was not my original location. Had to go a long way out of my way. Resulted in additional mileage. Counter was lined up for well over an hour. Checked in online and my truck number was not there

Wipers did not work on truck. Reservation included the rental of 2 furniture dolly's which they didn't have. I was told they are on a first come, first serve basis... if this is the case why allow customers to add equipment to their reservation? They did manage to find me 2 at another location and didn't charge me but still defeats the purpose & was not convenient. Previously I reneged from the Blackfoot location & they had the truck ready with the rental equipment in the back. So this did not make sense to me.

The staff at this location Are great, but for some reason, on oct 30 at 530 PM there is one staff only for returns, and some jerk parked a car hauler right in the middle of the only way into the parking lot. The staff was excellent, and she processed my return without making me stand in line with a small child, but U-haul should treat their employees with more respect, which means more staff especially all hands being on board at month end (ie pay them overtime too!)

My truck was not available at the location that I reserved it at. Truck only had a quarter tank of gas in it. Customer service was not helpful and was unfriendly. Drop off location changed at every directed site. Nothing was the way that it should have been according to my contract. The only way that they finally allowed me to drop off the truck at a U-Haul authorized dealer, 30 minutes away from the original drop off site, was after I spoke up about my mistreatment. On a day when I have so much to worry about during the move, the last thing that I need is inconsistent information and misguided employees who don't know what is going on.

I tried to rent at a different location and my rental got moved to this location without informing me. I then needed to drive across town to the location where my rental was located. I arrived and the pickup was covered in snow and not drivable (The snow arrived 2 days prior so there was plenty of time to clean the vehicle and make it acceptable). I told the staff of the issue and they gave me an old broom to clean the vehicle. After trying to complete the process it was not working and i asked to switch my rental to a van which was also covered in snow and dirty in the back. The windows were very filthy making it less safe to drive as well. The staff did not go over any controls on the vehicle or walk around to do an outside inspection to check for damage. I also had to pay for extra KM's compared to where my original booking was located which was not taken into account.

The entire parking lot was a skating rink, the truck was not clean and had someone else's belongings in it, it was not sanitized even though we're in the middle of a pandemic! There was ice on the truck an inch thick that I had to figure out how to get off by myself. There were no winter tires in the truck so I was sliding around and getting stuck constantly. No one knew what was happening with the truck itself when it came to if it had gas or not. The mileage gauge was also very off and I was almost charged $350-$400 for going 30 km as it was multiplying my distance drastically. The store had no clue what has happening and was claiming I had not been initially charged until I showed them my bank account. I was very displeased how this store was working and they had no intention of resolving this for me until I got upset. It was mayhem. I will not be going back.

The manager was chewing his food and talking with at the same time. He did not do a walk around the truck because I want it to finish his lunch. When he give me the paperwork and keys. It did not match the truck miles and fuel level. When back to him and he just wrote a line in my paper work. No changes to the actual paperwork. When I drop off the truck he try to charge me for not filling up the fuel tank as per the paper work and show him the paperwork he gave me and he's “note” his own writing. He denies doing it. I am still waiting to hear back from the called centre to adjust my bill. I have pictures to price it.

I am very disappointed with the service received at this location. I will never use this location again and would recommend against it to all family/friends as a result of this experience. The following were the main issues that I experienced: 1. I had reserved a furniture dolly and a hand truck dolly in advance only to arrive to find that the uhaul agent did not have any left as they had all been rented earlier that morning. What is the point of reserving in advance if they can still be sold out? I had planned my move around having access to this equipment which really inconvenienced me. 2. The uhaul agent did not show me where the truck was. I had to walk around the massive parking lot in -20C weather searching for the truck with many similar models. Each truck was covered in snow which made it difficult to identify which one was mine. 3. The truck itself was not in customer ready condition. The truck was covered in snow and ice forcing me to use my personal ice scrapper to clean the vehicle. This should have either been provided or done in advance of the rental. In addition, the box of the truck had garbage (boxes, tarps) leftover from the previous customer. The box was also covered in an excessive amount of dirt and leaves which had not been cleaned up after the prior customer. 4. I witnessed one of the uhaul agents be extremely rude to another customer. Even though the agent was pleasant with me, I felt unwelcomed in the store and uncomfortable with how the other customer was treated.

Was booked on line at Blackfoot location, when arrived to pick up at scheduled time, was told did not have trailer and, I would have to go across Calgary to 36 street location to pick up. Would not recommend Blackfoot location, very poor service and attitude. Confused about what a reservation is about.

Location looked squalid and unprofessional. More like UHaul was squatting rather than operating a professional business. Both the counter staff were rude and confrontational throughout entire pickup. I was redirected to this location from my preferred location. I will flat refuse to any rental from this location in the future. Also, trailer provided leaked and damaged goods that i was hauling in the trailer.

The individual that served us when we dropped the truck off seemed to think that we rent a vehicle all the time. There was one person on and he was actually quite "rude" or "matter-of-fact". He did not seem to have the time off day for us or the three customers in line.

It would help to get a moving truck with a full tank of gas. The truck I received only had a 1/4 tank, so I had to fill it prior to starting my inter-city move. Which is a hassle on a busy move day. Why not implement a policy that all trucks are filled for the next customer? This would not cost Uhaul any more money as the customer pays for the fuel. It would allow customers to start on their move immediately after picking up the truck.

They refuse to wait a few minutes before opening the office, and ask me to return the rented trailer via phone. When I told, that I left a phone at the home, they charge me $20 for returning the equipment after hrs even I was just in time. Her name is Charle or something. Will never use U-haul again, and will tell my friend about the case!!

The young lady that helped us was great. She was the only person when I picked up the car trailer and foothills industrial area is not a good place after certain times. When dropping the trailer off she was right there so l didn't have wait to unhook and find someone. It was a great experience. Thank you

My truck was changed to a bigger truck on a one-way rental. No consideration given from uhaul to the extra cost of gas. Called to talk to the scheduling manager and she never called me back - surprise surprise.

Site is not staffed to match to how busy the location is. While the staff was friendly, it took 45 minutes from the time I entered the building until I was hooked up to the rental trailer. There were 6 people in line at the time of arriving. Pick up and drop off area is not designed well as it blocks the side of the building as it limits your ability to get your rental out.

Patheric experience, first my ubox weren't delivered to the location where I was supposed to get and for that reason I had to pay for 50 km instead of 10km, after that for my surprise there were locks on the ubox without the keys availability, and when I talked to unprofessional manager, i was told that i am responsible for the keys, where as I never put the lock and i was informed by uhaul that i dont have to put any locks on ubox and they will takecare of it and thats what they did.Moreover their manager got so rude and started shouting at me that i am supposed to break the locks and they are not responsive for the keys, somehow we opened those boxes and our 1.5 hr got wasted in that, and that point i was told that i have half n hour to unload and than load again in truck otherwise i will be escorted from the property. So unprofessional and pathetic experience i have recieved especially from their manager(Lydia), I wonder how on earth she even became manager.

My credit card had gotten charged for the first month of the storage containers that I had booked.. When I had booked it online, it clearly says that the first month's storage rent is free. When I was at the store, they had confirmed that the first payment will be charged on Aug 28th instead of July 28th. Please reverse the charges or do not charge my credit card for the second month of storage.
