As stated above, I reserved a locker at Relaible Mini warehouse, Apple Valley, MN listed in your website as an Available option! I just moved to MN from NC with all my stuff. Only to find out that the facility is still under construction!! I was NOT told this. Completely I acceptable. I had to go to another facility in Burnsville and get 2 smaller lockers (on different floors) rather than the 1 larger one I reserved and for more money. I had to pay my movers an additional $200 due to the travel time to new locker and the fact they had to go upstairs for one of the lockers. I'm completely dissatisfied with this situation. I spoke with a manager yesterday who gave me a small credit to be used later, but I am Not satisfied with this. It was a huge error on your part to have on the website and it says it is open and available. This is false information. The Burnsville facility was helpful and I have nothing against them. I also had an issue with my uhaul truck rental that I reserved in Canton, NC (when my scheduled movers never showed). I arrived to get my truck and was told they didn't have my truck. I had already driven an hour one way to get the truck and had to drive an additional 30 mins to get a truck in Asheville, NC. This whole uhaul experience has been awful. Customer service is horrible. When calling the Burnsville office to get my u-boxes my calls always went to the national call center. It sucks that it takes about 1 or 2 hours to talk to someone. Then, those folks are horrendous to talk to because they are not trained to answer simple questions. I would have to call back and speak to another person who always said something different (again another 1-2 hour wait). The hold music will drive you insane and it would be nice if told you the wait time so I don't have to wait. I would not recommend u-box to anyone.adam Z.

Not attributable to this location, but U-Haul changed my location twice and I ended up at this location which was 20 miles further from my destination. The truck was clean and well-maintained, but I was given 1/4 tank of gas and almost ran out of gas on the way to my old house. Not ideal.Brett K.

My problem was that my original order was scheduled for a pick up in Apple Valley (6895 151st St W Apple Valley, MN 55124) and was told I had to pick it up in Burnsville. This was very inconvenient for me. Why have an option to get something closer to my home and not be able to pick up there?Tom R.

Overall a very positive experience. The truck worked really well. These are minor comments, but I'll record them for you: - the check engine light was on the whole time. I saw it as I drove away, turned around and asked about it, and was told it's only an oxygen sensor. It would have been good to tell me before I drove away. - the padlock chained to the truck was bent to the point I couldn't lock it. The key worked, but the hasp was stretched. - I checked the oil but the truck did not have a stick attached to the oil cap. Overall, a great experience. ¡Gracias!JOHN J.

We reserved a uhaul and one of the uhauls was here and the larger uhaul was not. While it was not the front desks ladys fault, she did not give us any help. We were given a number to call and spent an hour on the phone trying to find the truck that we reserved and already paid for. We then had to go to another location to pick up the truck. We wasted 4 hrs on a moving day because a truck that we were told we would have was not there. Super frustrating, and will definitely try another place than uhaul next timeKailey M.
Don't rent your trucks with 3/8 of a tank of gas and then make us guess how much we have to add. I put 8 bucks in just before I returned it. I guess it wasn't close enough for you, because you charged me additional. You are a big company. Rent out full and expect them returned full.CLINT C.
They were out of furniture dollys (always an issue) so we had to buy one. They also upcharged me an extra $150 for furniture blankets which I noticed on the receipt. They did refund the money but if I didn't notice it, they would've taken that money!MUZAFFAR K.

Never got a copy of my final receipt. Your reservation system is antiquated. When you reserve you input all of your information including drivers license and payment information, then they input all of that information at the pick-up site. Even for established customers. Waste of time.James W.
When I arrived to pick up there were two people at the counter. One person was helping another customer, but the other person was working at a computer. Neither one of them said anything to me while I waited. It was about 10 minutes before another person came to the counter and asked me if I had been helped yet.Katie J.

The truck was not clean externally. Seems like if the truck was stored for a long period of time and just given to me as my rental. It had a damaged side skirt that I was afraid could've broken off while using the truck. Otherwise staff was great and for sure will ask to see what I'll be renting before signing a contract. UHaul my have the network established but please don't underestimate customers overall level of quality.Edward V.
We are being charged monthly fees/late fees when we've move out of our unit! We moved out TWO months ago and I've gotten several emails/letters in the mail saying we owe money! Initially, this uhaul was requested to be picked up in Rochester, MN. The reservation for pick up was made on May 5th. On the day of pick up, there were no available trailers - contradicting my reservation made nearly a month in advance. I was told that I needed to drive to a location over an hour away or adjust my moving date - which isn't possible when you're moving from Minnesota to Florida. There was no attempt made to help me, and it was expected of me to fix the issue made by the company. The lack of customer service/assistance in retrieving a trailer was also frustrating. They were not willing to transport any trailer to a closer location. I had to get friends and family to help me retrieve and transport the trailer. This was a mistake by the company and not the customer. Because of the time sensitive move we had to make due, but this should have never happened.Jerry S.

Your customer service is the worst for such an easy facility to maintain. I was wrongfully informed on "pro rating" my unit if I didn't use the whole month. Unfriendly customer service and everyone there seemed to hate their job. It's sad that the best part of my experience was my unit was close to the door so it was easy to move in and out. The access to the locker and the locker itself was great. This tends to be a very busy site and I had some trouble with the online ending of the locker reservation. I used this facility to rent truck for my moving as well. I was intimidated and abused by the staff. The associate does not have have a concept of respect and what is to work on customer services. He was extremely rude and inappropriate, the man thinks he is the big macho talking to me like I was garbage or had some type of thing going on with him! I never experienced such of tragedy from an employee from Uhal. I moved few times and I noticed his poor behavior and not to talk about his work ethics! I wonder if he knows what I am referring to. The supervisor in charge was just as bad to communicate and understand and abide by work policy and rules!! Totally scary and frightening for a single woman that is paying for the equipment!! The first Gentleman was very nice. His supervisor- Assistant Store Manager was arrogant and argued about everything. The co worker apologized for him. I like your facility, have used it for 7 years, first when my home was destroyed In 2012 by neighbors house fire. I've seen a dozen or more associates work here. Mostly very questionable and seemingly uneducated about customer service as well as grammar and cleanliness. That saying, I believe you hire people that need a second chance in life, and I think that's great. The Store Manager on Friday March 20 was personable, knowledgeable, clean and friendly. I checked another facility only because the prices are more then I wanted to pay. I decided to rent again because I knew what to expect, I trusted the company and it was generally comfortable. I was disappointed on Sunday March 22nd the SM was not working. The associate pleasantly surprised me after the initial perception of his very dirty appearance. He was very helpful, concerned and friendly. I felt perhaps since I've been an outstanding client of yours, for several years, never missed a payment, left everything clean, when leaving and convinced my Sister, Mother and Grandmother to use your units, the ASM would be a little more accommodating and less arrogant and condescending. I don't like leaving feeling uncomfortable to return. The only good thing is I may never have to see the ASM again. I seldom go in the office area other then to rent a uhaul truck. I also am a Store Manager of high end, luxury retail for over 25 years and expectations are much higher then everyday retail. I hope you know I am happy with the facility, just never know what kind of service (or attitude) to expect when I have to interact with associates.
