It is to busy for the little help, lights out on truck upon pick up does not have time to fix, went on u-haul.com got a quote of 252 for trailer, at pick up it was 381 he said call u-haul later and they will fix it, we called and u-haul said we signed the agreement so to bad, we will never stop at this location again

my customer and I were told multiple times we would get a call back to schedule appt once part was in..never happened. Called several times and each time was told not in, then looked under reservations...said part was in...finally scheduled last week and he went in to be told..no part. Scheduled again for yesterday..customer goes in and no part per person there and no idea of the appt. Ended up getting ppart in waterville and making a 2:00 appt last until almost 6...he was not a happy camper. Very poor communication and service.

It was very difficult to get a price quote from U-Haul. Each time I spoke with someone, the price was different. I understand that if I keep the truck longer or damage it or go over the mileage, it will change the price. But it is really critical to have a price showing what is included.

I have been using your Western Ave in Augusta facility for years. This includes installing trailer hitches and renting all sorts of trailers that we need. Tim, the General Manager sets the very positive tone in this shop, and I think he should be put out in the field as he has a lot to offer other shops in the U Haul system that fall well short of his skills and store.

Ordered furniture pads and they were not provided. Said they were in the truck but they weren't. As I was paying men to help me move I could not return to the store (I was in another town) so had do do without. Used many of my towels to provide protection. Called U Haul and they said that they would ;take them off the bill. Did not solve the problem, Did acquire some scratched furniture..

Customer service could be improved CONSIDERABLY. Employees provide little, if any, eye contact. There is no acknowledgement of your presence until it seems convenient for them (this is both with and without a line of customers). General demeanor is that of people who don't (or shouldn't) be interacting with the public unless every other employee in the company has called in sick and they are the ONLY people who stand between the location staying open or shutting down completely; and even then, being closed may be the better option. One of the employees spit on the floor in the middle of the transaction. If there was another moving truck option in the area I would most certainly try them next.

Easy drop off. My only complaint is on 800-UHAUL. Your phone service is terrible... having had to call several times to change my rental. 3 different times I was on hold for nearly 10 minutes (far to long to have to wait) and then the person who answered had to transfer me to another person (scheduling) to actually accomplish what I was trying to do... I cant imagine that changing a drop off date would be something that UHaul cant seem to manage... doesn’t that happen all the time in your business?? Each person I talked with was helpful and nice, but the waits were unsatisfactory and the fact that customer service cant do something as simple as extend a rental or change the drop off location is just crazy. I think I spent a total of 30 minutes on the various calls I had to make. Get it together UHaul.

More D-Rings! Once you start packing, there is no way to stabilize a partial load since the four rings are usually buried and in the wrong location anyway. Need attachment points at or above the mid-point rub rail.

When I put in google this location it took me behind the building. Perhaps you could put up a sign in the back to redirect people who are returning equipment to the front. Other than that everyone was helpful.

I was supposed to drop my truck off to a facility that was closed on Sunday, but received a text to drop it off at another location the day of my move. Even though the facility was packed with trucks, they charged me an extra day for dropping the vehicle off at 5pm instead of 3pm, even though, it would have made no difference what so ever since the location it was supposed to go to was closed with a key drop off. Had I known further in advance about the change in location to a place that was open (that had plenty of trucks), I could have arranged the moving crew to get there earlier to get the truck back by 3pm. Super knit-picking. Feels like cheap customer service, to be honest. Have never had the experience with Budget or Pensky.

You need to hire new people the last couple times I have been there they have such a bad attitude when you get there and when you come back they act like they don't even want to help you have a frown on that face the whole time I felt like I was bothering them

The trailer had dirt and sand in the floor. Trailers should be fully cleaned prior to pick up. Out of all the uhaul locations I've used, this is there only one that didn't use the drop off area for trailers. Both times I returned the trailer here in the last week I was told to back the trailer up on my own in between a narrow space between other uhaul trailers and trucks. The first return at this location I was out in they parking lot by myself with no staff. Good thing I was skilled at backing up a trailer in tight spaces. I can't imagine if they did that to another person and they drive it into other equipment. This isn't a smart business process. Other than that the customer service at the desk was good.

I have used Augusta U- Haul in the past and have always been satisfied. This occasion was an after hours drop off only, however when I called them for directions they were very helpful.

told me over the phone my appt was scheduled, showed up and they couldn't find it. very poor customer service,from the "owner". didn't look up from his computer, was very flustered and clear he didn't have time for me and didn't want to deal with me. same issue when i dropped off, they had me waiting for at least 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. employee had on dirty clothes, sweatshirt with holes-not professional at all.

They gave us the wrong truck (right size, but wrong tag number). Luckily I spotted it before returning, and Wendy the reservation manager in Brunswick was able to get the contract fixed efficiently. Re the return location in Norwood, MA, the address listed in your database is wrong: It is at 390 Boston-Providence Tpke., not 390 Providence Hwy.

NEED to have the miles from the original uhual to destination/ new uhual included with the mileage. my mileage was 53 miles from the augusta u-hual to my house and that is it. so i got stuck paying for miles from the house to drop off location which isnt fair. i also returned under 24 hours. I shouldnt be charged miles then. feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions of what i am saying

As a first time user, I went into the location to get answers to my many questions. Staff was always patient and helpful. The only negative for me was the line of people ahead of me.

Mobile pickup wasn’t available because the employees had not assigned the vehicle to my reservation. Keys were not available. Employee told me I needed to wait 25 minutes until they opened (even though it was their mistake). He then came and locked the key in the box and told me I could try to check out through mobile but if I needed help I had to continue to wait until they opened. Upon taking the truck the gas was just under 3/4 tank, and I took a picture for the mobile pickup. The truck was used for 8 miles and returned with the same amount of gas. They tried to charge me $16 for gas saying I’d picked it up with over 3/4 tank. I had to make them pull up the picture and confirm I was right and take the charge off. Overall, crappy service and fraudulent charge.

Overpriced storage units (roughly $135.00 more than competitors). Pad locks are required, but not provided. Often understaffed. & They input a character limit to decrease quantity of criticism.
