Not only did the front desk staff give me incorrect instructions on where to leave truck, but I was not told about the extra $20 charge if I have to drop off a vehicle after hours. The front desk staff was slow, and extremely brief in any of her explanations. Not to mention the whole check in process took half an hour when I had already checked in on my account using the app. Also, the link that was sent to me to use to pick up the vehicle would not let me do so unless I purchased the $15 warranty/insurance, which I had already denied and signed that I denied in store, but I'm sure you're already aware of the fact that you're app is not working properly, and you just don't give a shit about your clients. When I tried checking in upon returning the van, the link was not working properly again, and would not let me check in and close my contract (which I was not even aware I was supposed to do as this was my first time renting from uhaul). And surprise surprise, I was charged extra for not checking the van back in by the time I was supposed to. So in total, I was charged $36 for the rental, plus another $82 for all this other bullshit, to rent a truck for 1 hour and to do about 15km. So I will never use your services again, thank you.

Associate came out to disconnect the trailer from my vehicle. After disconnecting it I was told I could be on my way and I'd be emailed my receipt. Once I got the receipt I was charged for a full extra day because the Associate never registered my equipment return.

After spending taking the time to complete The online chieck-in, I gave them my reservation number only for them to waste time asking all the information i already submitted. Then they wasted another half hour call my emergency contact who was still sleeping which I disclosed then out of spite I think they gave me the worst truck to use. Then charged me for overnight check-In of the truck when I had until 8 am to return the equipment.. why do I continue to write these fcxkin review. No one ever does anything Then on the vehicle inspection which doesn't give you updated pictures of the current state of the vehicle in -20 degree weather walking around and taking pictures of every dent and scratches only for the link to expire yet again wasting and freezing my ass off

The facility itself is your typical U-Haul location. The negative is how to access it. Warden is a very busy road and it is difficult to pull out when you have a large truck and/or a trailer. The biggest issue that I experienced with my Auto Hauler trailer is that there was nothing in the description that the trailer required a 1 7/8 inch ball. MOST trailers that I have borrowed/rented use a 2 inch ball. As such I had to go from this Scarborough location back to my house (which was 30 minutes away in Uxbridge) to get my other receiver. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING!!. Other than those 2 items the experience was fine. Staff was polite and helpful,

I booked a 15 foot cube, got a quote paid up front with120.00 + insurance + taxes and other fees+ a lock & rollof tape ( supplies) for a total of $176.00 this included 120km of distance. I booked the vehicle for pickup at 7pm Friday with a return 7pm the next day on Saturday. The gentleman on phone who was very kind and friendly, asked that I come in earlier as the location closes at 7pm and would need some time to complete the paper work and transaction. No problem, I showed up at approximately 530pm Friday, waited patiently for the new person at the counter to get things correct. Now after 20 minutes or more I Now have my vehicle keys with instructions on the return, if I should return it after hours. I was told to complete the necessary process to avoid any additional charges. I return the vehicle at 630pm on the Saturday with fuel and in great condition and within the time as I originally booked it. It was check-in by an attendant on the property. Can you guess what Uhaul did? YES, that is correct, they charged me an additional $62.00. ($40.00 for the rental $15.00 for Insurance plus taxes) . This is for bringing I back before they closed so as to avoid their after hour check-in process. Is something wrong with this picture?

Contract number did not match vehicle key number. Requested a new contract and was told it would be emailed to me. Contact was not emailed until after I returned the vehicle and requested the contract. Several others were dealing with issues of their own including a reservation that was set up as agreed with a employee after the person spoke to them in person. Seemed very disorganized. Have to say I was disappointed and would not rent from this location again.

Reserved at 2950 kennedy 2 weeks ago, and when i arrived, money being charged and cargo van doors could not opened, customer service finally found out the staff FORGOTTEN to set up access key for me. After wasted 1 hr on the scene, i was told to relocate to longer dostance warden, which took me longer drive also more money spent on rental. No compensation was provided, totaly rubbish experience and i must share my terrible experience with anyone i know about the failure of this company and their dealership

the exterior of the truck was too dirty for me to see any additional scratches before leaving the lot. the interior of the store customer service counter was so cluttered with your moving supplies, you can't see if there is a staff person ready to serve you. this is overboard - please move the sales supplies away from the "customer service counter" - it's not a "customer sales counter" we know where the supplies are if we need them. thank you,

The drivers seat was getting stuck and would not move easily. The drivers side wiper blade wasn't working. This caused great inconvenience and almost blinded me on 401 highway. Had to pull over and clean the window myself in freezing snow and slushy road conditions. These are basic things that management need to check and make sure they're working before letting out a rental unit. This can cost customer his life and legal battles waiting to happen.

The location was short staffed and the person that assisted me was not experienced in Uhauls computer systems which may have contributed to the billing nightmare that followed. I had to find my own truck as they were too overwhelmed to assist me. However the original drop off location not having a truck allocated to my reservation by traffic really set off a casecade of events that made for a lot of stress straightening out my bill. I really was convinced Uhaul was going to stiff me by overcharging me over $636.00. I did get my refund by the explanations made no sense based on my actual bill. I rented my first Uhaul truck and trailer in 1985. My latest experience was the first time I was truly disappointed and concerned at Uhauls methods of customer engagement. Your “Manager on Duty” restored my faith that Uhaul had great people working for them.

Truck - the truck was clean however, the tires are not equipped to handle snow and i got stuck or slid a lot while driving, had to go extra slow Service - when I arrived the system was down and i wasted 1 hour of my rental time just trying to get my truck. While the system issue were not their fault my cashier seemed to be inexperienced and her manager had to take over just so i could get out in a timely manner. Equipment - I reserved a utility dolly but none were available and i ended up with a furniture dolly that didn't really do the job.

Pick up process was not easy. The website had MANY issues which made the experience less than desirable. Original booking was for a one way trip. Was called the day before our move saying we couldn't have a one way truck and we would have to return. Which is not what we wanted to do after a full day of moving. Was charged 9L in fuel even though the truck was returned at the same level as it was picked up. Overall it was NOT a good experience.

I rent a truck at this location and I drove under 12MI. I was charged with 32MI, more than a double the actual distance. I called twice the location and nobody answer. The size of truck ordered did not arrive at the pick-up location. the Customer Service Representative went out of her way to ensure that I was a satisfied customer, even with a smaller truck that I had to use. Recommend that your rental trucks start with a full tank of gas that the customer does not have to immediately go to a gas station.

They told me to go home before inspecting the vehicle when I dropped on Saturday at 5pm. Then they charged me for fuel, but I did put enough gas, and added more for extra milage as well. The most ridiculous part of it was charging me for two days instead of 4 hours that I had the truck. I am gonna explain this as a review for U-haul and this location if manager of this location does not return my money. It is literally stealing money.

The place looks terrible and very un-welcoming. We rented a pickup and an auto trailer. The pickup was good but the trailer was rusted, especially the ratchets were so rusted that we couldn't operate them. And the ratchet straps were rotten, one of them nearly broken. Those straps could break any minute. No way they were strong enough to hold a car in place.

Access to the outside unit is good. Unit very spacious. But outside area is not well lit at night. I had to keep my car headlights on to see what I was doing. Not clear on how security is maintained at night. No security gates. Also I would recommend dropping the $10 charge for 24 hour access since anyone can get into the area at any time of day or night so what are you paying for?
