The employee who helped me unload at the end of his shift, since i was only able to get the trailer back at 7 PM on the dot, was extremely friendly and helpful. My only recommendation for improvement would be if there was a feature when booking to select a time frame. I knew that I would need the trailer for more than 5 days as I was traveling across the country at a slow pace stopping at family on the way, but was called regularly to ask where the trailer was, even though upon booking I had noted and asked how I can book for longer.ANDREWJAMES C.

I wish I knew the names of the men who were working outside on the lot, helping customers through the process. To a person, everyone there was conscientious, helpful, quick, and working hard ! AND â€¦ it was a super hot ðŸ¥µ Saturday in New Orleans !!! I actually had tried to arrange a truck from another U-Haul location as I had used the Tulane Ave location several times in years past, and it was always a slow horror show. I even tried to rent from a local Penske dealer! As no trucks were available, I begrudgingly rented from the Tulane Ave location again. I was happy and super surprised !!! Great experience, and the men who were working outside that morning/afternoon should be PROMOTED, and considered for management in the future. They understand what good service is !!!! To be fair, they seemed short staffed. Their personalities made it better because they were truly all nice, they were trying their best. It was mistakes being made I believe due to miscommunication so customers were backed up on getting their booked vehicles.SCOTT C.

Better instructions for mobile pickup!!!! The truck number I was given was not even on the premises. Thankfully there was an employee still there, so after 30 minutes of trying to figure out where my key was, he was able to look me up in the system and call someone to figure out where it was. They did not offer any help or information about how to drive the truck or what to do with the tow dolly. I asked if I could return the next morning to have an appointment for them to attach my car to the tow dolly and their response was "just look it up on YouTube". The associates repeatedly did not know information of how to do things, and one did not read my contract information properly and told me he couldn't help me and I had to go get a manager from inside to come out and explain it to him. I really did not feel safe driving away in the truck with absolutely no information about how to use it or what to do with the tow dolly.DOROTHY T.

Customer service could be better. The person serving the front desk had no idea about liability insurance in case I got in to an accident. It is very confusing for customers. We asked neighbors (they've never heard of the place). What is wrong with uHaul? This is 2/2 for messing with my already stressful, complicated move. UHaul cannot be relied on. The person who processed our rental was really nice. I haven't experienced a person that patient and sweet in a long time. She was calm with a sense of humor and didn't seem as though anything would rattle her. She had a great attitude, and there seemed to be a lot of nice teamwork going on with her co workers. The guy that checked me out when I returned the towing equipment was extremely nice to me. He made me leave the long line to help me out very fast. He was very courteous, and exhibited great customer relationship. The guy that took possession of the truck and took the keys from me was extremely wonderful too. Trying to do this online was a waste of time. The truck was not ready to go and was blocked in by many other trucks. Someone tried to get it out by jumping a curb instead of moving equipment around. This did not work and then I was give a different truck that was parked at the back of the line with several dents/scratches. I'm not sure why that was not the first choice. I had requested the truck for 6 hours starting at 9am. When I finally got the online approval, the keys, the keys to the next truck, etc., I was told the truck had to be back by 3pm. It was not my issue that they did not have their act together but ended up having to rush my day to return the equipment for their convenience. The return was equally as unorganized. I return the equipment and waited it with it for a while in the return equipment line. Then I proceeded to do the online return so I could get out of there. After going through that process, I flagged someone down to see what they wanted me to do with the keys and was told to just leave them in the truck. Overall it took an hour to get the truck and 30 minutes to return it. Without searching down help and trying to walk myself through the processes, it never would have happened. Terrible experience. Needs to be more organized and communication needs to be better.Daniel B.

The staff is rude to customers and to one another. Just waiting in line I overheard superiors twice speaking down to employees. It made me feel uncomfortable and it made me realize how toxic of a work environment this office is. Truly negative people. The trailer I was using had a bad connection with the break line. They had difficulty setting it up initially. When I tried to return the faulty adapter the women working behind the desk laughed in my face along with some other rude comment. I don't know how far up the ladder this problem goes but I suspect that it begins with corporate management at the national level. If it is just this specific office, you would be wise to investigate who is running the operation and consider cleaning house starting at the top. I feel sorry for the good people who work here.keith D.

Moved out of storage unit. Told store desk employee and followed their instruction. I was getting emails about my stuff being there and my payment was late. I called and told them I moved out. I got emails about stuff going up to auction. I called and told them I moved out. I left a few things because I could not get them. I told desk employee. I even asked if they had somewhere I should throw the few things I had left. I have asked multiple times to speak with manager. Waited on phone for hours multiple times for almost a year. Was told he would return my call ever time after being placed on hold for unrealistic amounts of time. Was told he was hooking up trailer, filling up propane, checking truck, over in storage. None of these things should take almost two hours. He has never returned my phone calls. My account was sent to collections for over $1400. I am so disappointed and disgusted with the staff at this facility. I did everything I could to get this matter straightened out. The employee instructed me wrong. Had I known this would happen of course I would have done it differently. The manager avoids his duty to speak with customers and discuss important matters. I would not recommend this facility at all nor any Uhaul facility if I can not get this off my credit history. I should not have to pay for a storage unit I moved out of. I am giving excellent because the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I do have a problem because in the description of the storage unit it said 5xx8x10 and it is not that it is 5x8 at the front but it drops down to 4 or 3 foot. I really needed a storage unit as advertised. I will need to get into the storage unit often. I do not want to have to go and have to remove everything or close to everything just to get items out and put it all back just have to take it all out again to put it all back. I did not say anything the day I took possession because I was extremely tired and did not want to lose my temper.
