The attendant was standing in the return parking lot and more concerned with an electronic device than moving to assist me with the return process. Once the attendant's attention was shifted to assisting with the return process they were very helpful. It was that annoying delay of seeing the attendant stand there and yet not be recognized as a customer whom they will assist. Whoever was working the Rockville location on 11/21/2021 was extremely rude and unhelpful. They were mumbling the whole time and acted as if I was bothering them for asking a question. He was black.Cindy Terry A.
While the truck was clean, a few comments about it: -Tire pressure light was on as soon as truck obtained -The shock absorbers were very unforgiving: a very rough ride for my cargo. -Routinely rolling up the driver side window while driving, the rotating rubber handle just came off on the window crank. Was able to easily reapply this, but speaks to suboptimal parts going into construction of the truck (perhaps same issue as shock absorbers or lack thereof)James S.

No problems with this location, however I wound up at this location because of the horrible service I received at the U-Haul at Sudley Rd, Manassas, VA location. With them, I had reserved a truck a week prior, to be picked up on Saturday. They called me the Friday night before at 5:50 (10 minutes before most U-Haul close) telling me that they don't have any sized trucks available, and that there was nothing that they could do. I had to scramble, and luckily I found a much smaller truck available about an hour out of my way. I was mad that my reservation hadn't been fulfilled, and completely infuriated that there wasn't any alternatives.CHRISTOPHER H.

I booked online at two places because one of them had an issue and the website said it was an internal issue and they would fix it. Not knowing what was going to happen I cancelled the one location and and I was confirmed at the other location. When I went there they told me I wasn't booked there and they did not have my truck and I was pending on the other location. When I reached the other location I received a text saying my rental was available. After that I had no problem. But the website is terrible and it also said if I do a mobile checkout, I can get my truck one hour earlier. So I went an hour earlier to the first location and they said that was not true at that location. This was not conveyed on the website. All in all the website experience was terrible.Harbhajan A.

The staff members were accommodating and respectful, no complaints about them. No complaints about the equipment. The location is actually quite accessible. However, it would be quite difficult if you drove yourself to the location and no other driver was with you, you can't leave your car at the facility.Matt T.
Was charged for a storage when I had in my reservation to get 30 days free since I had a one way. In addition, there is a sign out by a major road displaying, one month free how can I be charged? It's a special too. He never apologized he didn't explain who I am getting my money back, no apology nothing. I wanted a larger unit he just said there were none. I think he said it because the line was getting longer and he did not want to look which...he didn't. And on top I received a very strained up unit. Poor service he provided. The unit was infested with mice. When I gathered my furniture to move out it was covered in mouse droppings and urine. When I raised the issue with the attendant he said there was nothing they could do and said they were not responsible. Clearly there were issues pre-existing as I see there are traps everywhere. Staff need to be retrained or replaced because they are very curt, and don't know how to speak to customers in a respectful or welcoming manner. The wait at the counter was two long in both instances and they kept walking away without acknowledging me or explaining why I was left standing there. I was assigned a unit with a used/smeared sticky trap in it, which made me very concerned about rodents. To enter the loading dock I have to enter my code on both keypads but consistently there's a problem; my code works perfectly on the first keypad, then I'm denied access on the second one. The parking at the loading dock there is a disaster; it's frustrating, chaotic and dangerous. I'm glad about the air conditioning; that's it. Negative experience overall.Anita A. | Overall Experience
I could rarely find a parking space in the back of the building where you load in and unload things from storage. Al the spaces where often used to park large U.-Haul trucks which made it very difficult to particularly load or unload heavy boxes or larger items. This was a very pleasurable experience. The entire staff was friendly and professional. They were very helpful. They always asked if there was any problems or did we have any questions.
