The staff was unhelpful when I came to pick up, there was a microwave left in the Uhaul from the previous person, and the truck was blocked in so I couldn't leave immediately until I could get someone else to unblock it.

The 10' truck that was assigned to me had the check engine light on. The atmosphere of the place felt chaotic as soon as you enter the parking lot. There are a lot of employees that nhelped me during the drop off process that made it really easy and fast. The place is very confusing to navigate as a customer. I don't have any concrete suggestions as to how to improve. I know that in this location space is tight, but if there was a way to reorganize the truck parking lot and drop off area, that could improve the overall experience.

Let people know upfront that the place you make your reservation may not end up as your confirmed location for pick up. And that it is often 24-48 hours before the reservation takes place, which is STUPID. Why are you waiting until the last minute to confirm a reservation made A MONTH IN ADVANCE? That is poor service.

Rented a UHaul 10' Van and reserved for 9/00 to clear the locker out to get the items to my daughter's new apartment at Spelman. When I arrived at 11:00 was told the reservation was canceled as I had not picked the Van up within an hour. I did not receive a call regrading the cancellation and had just arrived from Washington, DC with movers waiting to clear the storage and deliver to her dorm. Staff was very sismiss after having used your storage space for three months. Seems like the culture your organization accepts is one where customers do not matter because people have to move things every day. I will not refer UHaul to anyone and will be writing a negative review on social media.

Unbelievably bad customer experience. My “guaranteed” reservation was apparently meaningless! No van available at my location when I arrived. The one van at that location had multiple reservations for the same day. Person working at the store couldn't care less, this must happen all the time. I move day was ruined thanks to Uhaul. And why couldn't you email me the night before that there was a problem and I might need to go to another location? You guys need to invest in better technology and customer service.

The van I had is a newer one which was great and good on gas but the cleaning team needs to assure a better upkeep of the vehicle. My issue that I did experience unfortunately was with Ms. Arleth Ramirez Santos. Who didn't represent the U-Haul brand well at all. Ms Santos never looked into my account to read a note, to consider or address my concern. She simply printed out the receipt that I didn't request and slid it across the counter. Then stated, what you want me to do? There's nothing I can do because you should have checked it in as if I hadn't but the mishap was the glitch in the system. I'd gone through all the steps. Ms Santos was very rude with a very nasty matter of fact type of attitude that was out of place for a so called manager. Ms. Santos stated she was the manager after I asked her for one because of her lack of professionalism, understanding and soft skills that was totally needed at that time. I have always chosen U-Haul because of my customer service experience in the past. Yet, Ms Santos gave me energy that I'll not ever associate with the U-Haul brand that I'd grown to love. Which is why I am still in shock that she is a manager. My rating would have been excellent but Ms Santos is the reason for this rating today!

My Ubox got cancelled same day I was picking it up because they switched locations and that was a big hassle to reschedule. Then it didn't arrive on delivered by date. In addition to that they didn't have it ready to be towed and tried to get me to be there to unload and load at uhaul location when I chose the tow and unload/return same day option. Then they didn't have it ready to two until 3 hours before closing. It was so stressful and every time I tried to confirm things would be ready the corporate answering people didn't offer help nor did they communicate to the local facilities since nothing was ready or cancelled. It was so stressful.

On my contract there was a drop off address but once I arrived to this location I was told that they could not receive at the address on my contract and that I would have to deliver the truck to another location 30 minutes away. I will be using Penske rental for now on.

Horrible service. Over charged me, tried to deliver it on the wrong day, was super rude on the phone, and called me late at night with false information. Almost lost one of our boxes. I will be going out of my way to tell everyone NOT to use UHAUL. Horrible experience.

I was told that making reservations via the web would not guarantee it would by a U-Haul associate, so I had her to make it over the phone for a van at 14th ST location. She assured me it would be there. Went to pick it up, only to find out it had been changed to Peters ST. Got there, and it had been cancelled, with no explanation as to why. Why even make a reservation????? The same thing happened the last time. I was able to get a truck, but I cannot park those in the garage where I Iive b/c of their height. Can only park on curb of street for maximum of 4 hours @$2 per hour, with the annoyance of having to get up in the middle of the night and move it somewhere else - sometimes 4 blocks away!

Registering a truck and storage unit were easy enough online; however, going to the actual location was disappointing. Although I reserved ahead of time, it was almost as if the representative did not see my information online and he kept getting sidetracked with other things happening at the location. I ended up actually getting the truck about 40 minutes after the scheduled pick-up. It began to storm while leaving the location, which is when I realized that the windshield wipers did not work. Upon returning and unloading the vehicle I had to wait almost 45 minutes to start storing my items. Apparently, the location experienced several issues with codes not working the elevator; but, once we finally got upstairs to view the unit the agent realized that the previous holders had damaged the hinge where the lock gets placed. After more time of Ibrahim looking for another unit, he indeed found one but had to clean it as there were a couple of dead rats inside a pest control box. There was also something dead outside of the box exposing blood and guts. To me, these situations showed that no one checks the storage units regularly, nor do they get checked once renters leave. During the process of moving my things upstairs I had to wait a few times for him to input a working elevator code, which led to me being there almost an hour after closing. The worst part was that after days of leaving the establishment began to see charges to my credit card, which led me to call the company. I called for days before being able to actually speak with a representative, Tiffany, who was able to get an understanding from the location as to why I was getting charged. Workers at the location had not checked the truck in after I returned. Interestingly enough, another charge was made to my card the very next day. I had to go back to the establishment to get things sorted out; however, they had still NOT checked in the truck. Had my belongings not already gotten unloaded and it was already late, I would've stored my things elsewhere. Now that I know, I will be removing my things from the unit earlier than expected, and will not be using your services in the future.

When I arrived, the location was in total chaos. After waiting 30 minutes, I was finally given the keys to my truck. But, the online moving supplies order that I placed the previous day still wasn't ready. I waited additional time as the representative went to find half my supplies and then come to tell me that that the location didn't have the other half of my order. I inspected the outside of the vehicle and drove off. On the way home, I noticed fingernail clippings all over the floor. When I returned the vehicle, I noted that the vehicle was not ready for the next renter, due to the fingernail clippings. As a result, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I called customer service and explained the fingernail clippings and the location's GM still refused to remove the cleaning fee. In short, this is horribly managed location and I would STRONGLY advise selecting ANY OTHER location than the Peters Street location.

The person who assisted me was polite competent and professional. Return was also quick and easy. I appreciated that! I thought the truck handled a little loose with the steering. Overall I am very pleased with this experience with uhaul and will certainly use your services again.

When I reserved the truck, I arranged to have it delivered to the storage unit I was emptying. The contract made it possible for me to do this. However, on the day I needed the truck, it never arrived. Several people in my group called UHAUL and got a recorded message that said they would call back in 2 hours. My husband finally reached a person who said, "We don't deliver trucks. You have to go pick it up yourself." Seriously awful customer service.

Originally tried to return the truck to 4 Way Auto. I was told by the staff person that he would not allow me to return the trailer to his location due to his lack of time to move around existing trailers. He told me to drive back across Atlanta to return it to the Peter's street location. I asked what would happen if I drove there and they told me they would not take it either. He said “all locations have to accept trailers”. I asked how his yard was different. He said it didn't matter because he wasn't going to accept it. The reviews I have read about 4 Way Auto suggest that Uhaul corporate doesn't particularly care customer service at this location. On a good note, although very busy , the Peter's street facility was much better.

the system could be updated to make sure that rented vehicles are parked in the order that they are offered to customers-the lot attendant had to run back and forth to move vehicles for several customers-would save them and customers unnecessary time/frustration. Everyone at the Peter's Street location has been great both times we used it--especially Enrique! Facility is nice too. Oh-you should install more shade structures for the people who have to be outside here in Atlanta (thinking huge banks of solar panels over the asphalt areas.

You overbooked. IhD a confirmed reservation for 9 am Saturday, 7/30/22 at Peters Street for a 20' truck. Then , when I reconfirmed on Friday, I was rescheduled to 10:30 am Saturday at University Ave SW. when I got there, no truck was available. After HOURS on the phone, including being rerouted to the wrong scheduler who covers Macon, not Atlanta, I got a 26 ft truck on the condition I return it by 9 am Sunday (15 hrs from picking it up). I drove only 11 miles, and to refill it to where it was when I got it, I had to put in 7 gallons. In other words, the truck got less than 2 miles per gallon. Then you tried to charge me a late fee when I returned it late, but thank goodness your employee took the late fee off. This is the worst experience moving in 40 years and I will never never never use UHaul again. In fact, I'm a lawyer and I am considering suing you.

The trailer was very rickety and made me extremely nervous while driving. I hadn't had that experience before. It's also a good idea to teach employees not to make comments about customers bodies that come across as inappropriate or sexual in nature. Probably wouldn't choose this location again.

This was a horrible experience. I got the run around and had to work with over 7 customer service reps. No one knew what they were doing. They even archived my reservation while I was attempting to gain access to my property. No one communicated anything well. I will NEVER use uhaul services again

The clerks are too slow and needs more training. What's the purpose for having a reservation and you get there and still have to wait 30+ minutes until they put your information in the system. I have used uHAUL for plenty of years and this location is the only one that gives me problems everytime I come here. You all need to offer some type of discounts to long term customers. The equipment was clean but not maintained. The right rear tire was near flat and the air pump at the location was broken. Luckily, I had an air pump in my vehicle but the tire kept losing air. This was the 2nd vehicle I attempted to rent. The first vehicle had a broken side mirror so I was placed in the vehicle with a near flat tire. Otherwise, service was good.

I was told on the phone I was getting a 10x10 storage unit, but it was an L-shaped hobbit hole. Also the facility was really difficult to navigate.

We were coming in town from a MS family reunion and we had reserved a trailer in Decatur, GA. It was recommended to first visit the 300 Peters location to take care of it. We were able to confirm a trailer there and pay $247.68 with card ending 8692 for our reservation at the 300 Peters location. We had to get a locksmith because we entrusted the keys to a family member in Atlanta, however they misplaced the keys in the midst of relocating. This is no reflection on U-Haul. However, while waiting on this locksmith, U-Haul gave our trailer away at the location where we were waiting. It was also difficult to access a bathroom while the 11 of us were waiting. We had to request that they find somewhere nearby to get another trailer. We experienced another inconvenience getting the trailer at the other location & making sure the hitch fit. They were aware that when we left to get the trailer we were coming back because we had not finished moved everything out of the storage onto the dock. However, when we came back a quarter to 7 they had locked the office doors and we had to crawl underneath the storage gate to get to inside because my niece had not moved all her belongings out of the storage unit. They were telling us that they could not help us because they were closing and we could just come back tomorrow. We had to urge the manager to let us stay after closing to continue loading the things onto the U-Haul because we were leaving for Illinois in the morning. Overall, the entire experience was made more difficult than it had to be. The customer service was poor, there was no effort being put into providing helpful aid to us. It was very inconvenient seeing that we were traveling back to Illinois the very next morning.

I had a storage on the fourth floor 4326. There was some type of leak from the air condition now or wear whatever he caused issues when I was trying to move out it kept catching the wheels of the carts that they provide when I will roll something that's kind of big it always catches the wheels even when you pull up the blue little thing that they had down to catch the witness your items still caught some part of the yellow buckets. Other than that right there that was very inconvenient and what I feel does inconsiderate especially when you have folks moving out how to come up with a better job of catching whatever water whatever is it that they're having. Inconvenient hours, short timers on the lights, and when I went to empty my storage, I found that mice had gotten into my locker and defecated/urinated on my belongings, the management staff was alright, but I would not recommend using them for anything short of buying boxes or renting a truck.

The staff was amazing! The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location is that I know I did not like that I did not like not having 24 seven access to my things when it really mattered. Also I think there should be some sort of prorated refund. Because of me not being aware of the limited access slowed down me getting out of the unit before the start of the next billing cycle. Lesson learned to read the small print. I did see a sign that said ask for after hours access but that was not granted.

Overall the employer and employee are very polite and patient. The only thing that I suggest is that just because we as customers have access to the facility with a key card still need to be checked for ID to know that the person that is going into the storage unit is the person name matches the information on the contract. Why it's a concern because all of my things was stolen out of my unit from a friend of the family that was living with me and I discovered all my things was stolen of my unit after I came to the facility after paying for a truck that I didn't need after hiring a locksmith to cut the lock off to discover my unit was empty which I lost all the way around money and all of my valuable possessions and renting a uhaul just if the person that I asked to open the door after the lock was broken then I wouldn't had to pay for a truck at all but they insisted I had to have a truck to remove my things which I agreed because I didn't discovered I had no keypad until that day. Sorry I went long winded. Just be mindful to check the ID'S WHEN A RENTER IS MOVING OUT OF A UNIT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT MATCHES WHAT IS ON THE CONTRACT BECAUSE IF THAT HAD BEEN DONE IN THE BEGINNING IT'S NO WAY THAT ALL OF MY VALUABLE HEIRLOOMS WOULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN OUT OF MY UNIT AT ALL THIS IS MY BIGGEST CONCERN OVERALL I HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU PUT THIS YOUR NUMBER #1 RULE HIGHLY MAJOR SUGGESTION INTO CONSIDERATION!!!. THANK YOU FOR BEING CONSIDERATE AND OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS. SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE MANAGER AGAIN AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS FOR BEING PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING AND HELPFUL. I hated where my unit was. All the way around several corners and up a flight of stairs. I got lost everytime. The map did not help! Also the door handle was rusty and door misaligned so I ended up slicing my finger open one day trying to close the door.

Peters street is the worst u haul storage facility I have ever been to you guys have the nerve to block the parking spaces with crates knowing that we're trying to come in and get access to our storage units there should be no reason why there's no place to park inside of the garage the workers there are also very inconsiderate and uncaring I actually removed all my things and found another storage unit because of how horrible you guys treatment was toward myself and other it customers who I seen arrive on January 1st

Too many different staff. Wesley Fountain would not address issues in the warehouse basement with water and moving crates. Otherwise it was ok, they're not interested in accommodating customers, more interested in what they have to do and lunch hour.

I called the local facility and was misinformed on the available space. I was told that there were no vacancies. I look online and found a space and immediately booked it. I called back not knowing by this time I was speaking to the call center at this point, to inform them I was 20 minutes away and was informed that I would be able to move in immediately. I drove directly to the facility only to discover it was closed and again I was misinformed. We had additionally rented a truck to move the items that was not at expiration point however still full of our items. We left the truck on the property so we would not continue being charged and called the next day to explain the situation. We then were not offered any sympathy however rudely informed we must vacate the truck so it could be used for another renter and any thing else would have to be taken up with cooperate cause they were not the ones who told us we could move in. The customer service from local and call center was/is horrible and this storage time is desired to move faster just to avoid any other situations.

It's low average for me. As to not only l was paying for damage insurance to the storage for my items to sit in there. But some how not thinking mice was there too after l started going through my things to put on the cart. I notices dropping an foam from my cooler rip up in different places books , pillows , rip opening from my sofa. Foam piece all over the storage l have pictures an video to prove it. In a short period of time it was only in there for a month an the mice are disrespectful to people things. l see as if they was throwing a party because the janitor was gone home an what's the point of having mice trap at the corner of the enter the lid is upside down on top of the bottom half of the container. How u post to catch them from the box that way.

The key card doesnt always work and so do the pin numbers. It was hassle getting it open to access to my storage and the design is too weird there should be a ramp for carts not stairs.

Upon retrieving my items from my storage unit I notice all of my belongings had Rat/Mouse feces all over them. I did not keep food in the unit at all. All of my property was destroyed and had to be thrown out. Clothes, shoes, dressers, bed, TV stands, TV, college frames/posters all destroyed by rodents. The staff was fine and helpful, but the quality of the unit is horrible. Thousands of dollars in the trash just by choosing this lock up.
