Customer Service - Staff in Seattle/Everett were helpful. Staff in Atlanta not so much (excluding drivers) - was constantly misquoted and there was overall a total lack of communication and extreme inconsistencies between staff members. Containers - Wish we would have had 1 more but can't completely fault U-Haul for that - extremely disappointed at the excessive amount of mouse feces and bugs we found in one of our containers, disgusting to say the least, and the other one had virtually none so that was odd to me. One container door would not close after it was dropped off and opened so we had to leave our belongings unsecured for longer than we would have liked. Furniture Pads - I received far too many and U-Haul did not make it simple for me to return them at all, despite the fact that I was going through a cross country move and was given an excessive amount of pads that I was told to make sure were returned otherwise I would be charged. Couldn't get a straight answer on the phone about how to return them. Spent a whole day of moving driving around trying to find someone to take them and notate my account so that I wouldn't be charged. Fantastic waste of my time when I should have been moving. Despite the fact that I scheduled the delivery of my containers to my new home weeks in advance and despite the fact that my containers had been at the U-Haul location longer than I had even been in the state my containers still showed up late to my home and unfortunately this caused me the loss of time and plenty of money. I was consistently told that my containers would arrive that day but could never be given a window of time, speaking to individuals in scheduling was absolutely horrendous. I was even hung up on. The first day my containers didn't arrive no one even contacted me! Once I finally reached out they said there was a â€œmaintenance issueâ€ - why wouldn't I be contacted? The next day I was quoted the following delivery times every time I called to check where my items were; 10am - 10pm drop off window (what?! That's ridiculous), 10:30am-12pm drop off window (didn't show) and then 2pm-4pm. Like I said time and money and that's some terrible and inconsistent customer service. Would not recommend. The after hours return process need to be improved. When you return the truck your website tell you what to do in iOS to share your location and it still don't work and then when you call your customer service at that hour it's a 52 minute wait. I was charged for 2 extra days rental! I have contacted uhaul by email twice now and nobody bothers to respond. The location is extremely sketchy and not safe. The truck had a low tire pressure light on the dash as soon as I picked the truck up and within 15 minutes of leaving the rental place I had a flat that I had to take and get repaired and pay for. When I returned the truck the app would not accept the fuel picture/reading even though it was refueled back to the 3/4 full as it was when I rented it. I had to take it back to the gas station and completely fill the tank up before the app would accept it and then the app completely crashed! This was after hours so there wasn't anything I could do and it was the worse experience I have ever had with uhaul, I will NEVER rent from uhaul again!!!!!SARAH M.

Upon retrieving my items from my storage unit I notice all of my belongings had Rat/Mouse feces all over them. I did not keep food in the unit at all. All of my property was destroyed and had to be thrown out. Clothes, shoes, dressers, bed, TV stands, TV, college frames/posters all destroyed by rodents. Improve customer service experience. One black female at the service counter just sat on her "behind" while the other guy was working with another customer. I went her counter she just kept looking down (never look up or spoke). So the guy finished up and he started assisting me. A white male customer came in the door and didn't make it to the counter but the female service rep leap up from her chair and said, "hi sir ..how are you...can I help you..." the guy haven't got to her yet...needless to say I was furious!! but the male Rep was so good at his job I calmed myself down....I am never coming back there!!RENALDO L.

Terrible experience picking up the Van. Likely will not use U-haul again in the future. I went with the truck share 24/7 option to avoid waiting in line and minimize person-to-person contact. What's the last step I'm presented with before I can gain access to the truck? That I need to go inside to get the key! I did so, stepped to the side counter as the website instructed, and the gentleman behind the counter physically pointed at me in front of other customers and snapped at me to get in line. So, I ended up inside, waiting through the entire line anyway, after having already gone through the entire process of submitting pictures etc via the web application. The GM Ibrahim is a disgusting reflection of UHaul management. He is not only confrontational, but also lacks very basic customer service skills. He thoroughly enjoys making customers upset and inconveniencing them wherever possible. His venom has even begun to seep into some of the lower employees. Instead of being kind and accommodating, they follow his lead with nasty attitudes and argumentative natures. The facility is disgusting. If I had known I would have daily visits from rats and roaches I would've never chosen to store my items here. My experience with this Uhaul was one-star at best. This place is absolutely absurd. First I scheduled a mobile pick up for Tuesday, July 27 and when I got there they were no mobile pick ups available so I had to wait for the place to open and wait to get my truck. Then I decided to get a storage unit in which the map the young lady gave me was not helpful I could barely find the storage unit I had to go through a maze. I've been had to walk up stairs to get to the unit. Now I read online that it was 24 x 7 but today when I got there to take some things at almost 7 o'clock the employee said they close at 7 o'clock. Every time I came to enter my storage unit I would check in and then be denied access to my unit. After every visit I had to have a customer service representative assist in the access to my unit. I was given a card after a third attempt that still denied me access. I switched to a bigger unit and received a receipt of new unit. Two months after getting the unit I het a call about the old unit and learn the new unit was auctioned off and Uhaul has me down for the old unit and not the new. My things were auctioned off and I am being harrassed for the balance on a unit that I moved from. The staff is not attentive nor can you get anyone to answer the phone. I scheduled a van on Wednesday to move my stuff out. I had an email confirmation for pick up on Saturday the 1st of may. I get there at my scheduled pick up time only to be told that a van isn't available. The worker stated they left a voice mail but my voicemail is not set up for anyone to leave one so she was lying on top of that. Coming there 3 days in a row 25 miles they at least him with the nasty disposition manger Isbrim or what ever his name is would have reached out and said they rented my storage unit and moved the 1 piece of furniture I couldn't quite moved but came back the 28 last day to move it was rented out smh POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES DAY AFTER DAY. You know what they say about first impressions? Well If I went by that I would NOT be going back, BUT I know it can be better. The details of my 1st visit are very long so I'll just hit the highlights. 1.: The e-mail I received said that I could AVOID the desk & go right to my storage using my "Access Code", WRONG. 2.: I find my storage room & there is a lock on it. 3.: The door to my storage room is opened and low & behold someones stuff is in there, so the room is NOT even ready for me to use, I have to wait for it to be cleared out. 4.: The e-mail I received said that a lock would be in my storage room, well of course there was no lock in the room. 5.: The "check-in" & "check-out" process was NOT explained to me when I was given my key card. The very nice young lady that cleared out the storage room explained all that to me, if she hadn't I wouldn't have known that I had to check-out before I left the building or I wouldn't be able to get in on my next visit. That young lady was the reason I didn't take my business elsewhere, she was very nice & sweet & kept apologizing for all this "stuff" that wasn't even her fault.Robert L. | Online Move In

Charged a $112.90 to rent a 10x10x6 only to learn this unit was too small. I then asked to move to a larger unit (on size up), but it appears as though I've been charged for both. The staff at this location is HORRIBLE. Maria in specific needs to be retrained on customer service because she lacks professionalism in the workplace. They legitimately are on their personal phone as they are assisting customers, which shows how much they care for my business. If it wasn't for my pod being sent to this location I would have my storage somewhere else. I got there 30 minutes prior to opening and wasn't able to fully access my unit until quarter till 10 (this location opens at 9) because though I had made an appointment to come the following morning to empty my pod and move my things into storage I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the previous lock taken off. The store opens on the weekend with ONE person and a line backed up with over 10 people waiting. There's employees that spend more time flirting with you then relaying information. I came back the following Day ready to move my things out of the pod into my permanent storage ñ only to find out that the storage unit required a specific lock, one that I did not possess. Thankfully for Abraham and Tony I was able to move my things in to the storage after having numerous incidents that were affecting my entry all which were on the fault of the staff members, miscommunication, and lack of professionalism. Again thank you to TONY and ABRAHAM they were the ONLY TWO there that were genuinely concerned and wanted to assure that I had everything in order.Adina S. | First Impressions
My unit was destroyed by mice. My belongings were chewed up and covered with mice droppings and urine, and when I talk to the office and put in the complaint I was told I'd be contacted and never heard back from anyone at the company.BASHEEM D. | Overall Experience
Got assaulted by an employee that goes by 'Q' Harassed to the point of fearing for my life, called the police and had to reload my truck and get my money back for the storage unit and leave. The employee grabbed my personal belongings and started taking them off my dolly that I had chosen to use and then took the dolly because he wanted to use the one I had. He got inside my truck, bucking up on me telling me he was going to beat me up 4 against 1 because i was alone and he was with 3 other girls. NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND THAT LOCATION TO A SINGLE SOUL.
