Please have adequate staff available to check returning trucks in after a day of moving. We waited in the middle of the street for at least 20 minutes or more just to return the truck.

We got overcharged for gas. The truck moved at about 35 mph max. A lot of hidden charges. Very disappointed. We usually have a much better experience, as we've used Uhaul and this location several times.

They also didn't walk through the truck with me after I dropped it off. I left more gas than what I got it with and you guys over charged me. You gave me the run around with pick up locations and then you over charge me after the women on the phone ensured me since you inconvenienced me with changing my pickup location and she gave me extra mileage usage for the day because it was further than what it should have been for me to pick it up. I will NEVER use uhaul again after this experience

I was charged the $14 coverage fee even though I specially stated in my reservation, and again upon picking up the truck that I did NOT want to pay for coverage. When I realized I was charged, it was too late according to the attendant and I had to pay the fee. I would like the $14 reimbursed as I did not want to pay for it

Workers was not clear on how to properly check into unit. Also, I feel as though they one of the workers at the location (nahrie or jahrie) did not take her job serious. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her to change my access code and she told me they couldn’t do it in store and that I had to call customer service but I told her customer service said that’s something that had to do in store. After I told her that she still insisted I call customer service and kept stating they can’t change it in store. I called customer service again and they told her the same thing. Then all of sudden she changed it in store when she seen I was actually on the phone with customer service. I was there for a extra hour for this inconvenience.

Customer service is great. Staff are friendly; however, I returned the uhaul in the same condition I received it, with the exception of the increase in mileage of course, and still I didn't receive a receipt until days later. I make it my business to get receipts just in case fees are added later on. In this particular case fees were added on after the amount I was told would be subtracted from my account was already withdrawn. Then, I was charged for an appliance dolly when there was a utility dolly on the truck. Staff was notified the day it was dropped off and then again a couple days later. I'm still waiting on the money to return to my account. May have to call again which is annoying as I am sure I will be on the phone waiting to speak to someone for longer than 10 minutes.

using the smart phone pickup process, it was difficult to find which of the trucks was "mine" and the first 3 it suggested were "parked in" behind others. So I had to first find the truck, then say it was inaccessible, then find another truck.... until it proposed one on the front row. It would be nice if the software knew which trucks were in the front row.

My 9 ft cargo van worked beautifully and got the job done. It was ready on time for a speedy pickup and was easy to return. The Mayfield Road location is great for anyone in the Heights, right on the route to my destination.

They did not have the actual trailer I rented and was given one that simply did not work for my purpose. Then I returned the trailer before the 24 hour rental time during business hours, was told by the attendant that i was "Good to Go!" and then 4 days later at a gas station, my credit card got declined because of an additional $100 charge. Apparently the employee never checked in my trailer and I was billed 4 late days. It took me 2 hours on the phone to get the charge reversed, AND I was stuck at a gas station for 3 hours because your company took my money. I will never use UHAUL again.

The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and were very thorough explaining all the necessaries!! They made the process painless and fast for me and I appreciate that kind of service! I don't know if this was on purpose or what. It almost seems like you guys don't fill the trucks up all the way on purpose to charge people because they have to guess how much it will take to get back up to where it was at instead of just having a full tank.

I did not get pads, but got charged for pads and for missing pads. This ended up being $32.00. I also put my keys in the drop box before going through the app and was not able finish the app questions because the truck was locked. This was confusing and an easy way for you to get $20 more dollars out of me. I will not go to U-Haul ever again if this is not corrected.

They gave my reservation to someone else & tried to convince me I knew the person then reluctantly apologized and offered to discount my bill as they no longer had the right size truck available and the confusion cut into my time with my movers but my final bill was just the same as if I'd used the larger truck I'd actually reserved. They were rude and preoccupied. Further because they transferred my reservation to a stranger I wasn't able to pull up my payment code to pay the movers as the new reservation didn't have movers attached. I would never go back or recommend anyone else to this location. U-Haul owes me a full refund for this catastrophe. I had to use double miles because the truck I was given was half the size of what I reserved. It was a complete nightmare. I also had to finish moving on my own as I only had the movers for a certain amount of time.

Horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@@@@ The staff was unorganized, unprofession and incompetent! I did an overnight drop off of my 15 foot truck & dollies. I followed up in the am to make sure my drop off was logged in because I couldn't get my " drop off" information to take on the online return page. Customer service said " No record was showing of a return " . I drove out to the location to see what the problem was....dear Lord I was not expecting this! On entry the lines were Long and slow and the staff were loud and running around confused. I had a gut wrenching feeling thing were going to get worse.... and they did. The Supervisor was also initially unable to locate my Truck, appliance dolly or furniture dolly. Finally, the Supervisor found out that Staff member "L. J." had lost my Truck in the system . L . J. screwed up the numbers and re- rented it to someone else without logging it in as returned first. Wow! Here...we... go.... I waited patiently while the Supervisor tried to correct L.J.'s screw up. I get it..Things happen .... Just when you think it couldn't... The scenario got more and more ridiculous . J.L. was trying to whisper his error into the Supervisor ear... the supervisor couldn't understand what the heck! L.J. was explaining . None of us could. The Supervisor couldn't even take it anymore, looked disqusted , got frustrated and gave the paperwork to L.J. and said.... " look! I dont know what you did L.J. but, FIX IT!" The Supervisor was polite but, He needs to be an Eample and more of a Leader to his staff and stop playing with them like a buddy and joking with customers. He knows the Technical end but , He has to be more Present, Strong and Professional to lead his Team and serve the public. He seems capable. He just needs more training. Unfortunately, the Saga continues on with the dreaded L.J. Staff member L. J. was rude, and nonchalant. He started trying to fix his blunder and never looked at me or updated me at all. Finally, after he just left me standing there while he was on the phone, I ask him what was going on? L. J. waved me off and kept talking on the phone . I went back to the Supervisor for some answers. He told me that L.J. had to call another departement that was directing him on how to correct his ridiculous error. Once someone else straightend out J.L.'s mess. He finally acknowledged me and said. " Alright, we wont charge you extra" WHAT! I couldn't believe it I really thought I was being " Punked! L. J. had the nerve to finally open his mouth to speak to me as the inconvenience customer Affected by his incompetence and say this rude, ignorant statement! He never apologized for the stress and inconvenience he caused me for 2 hours or even thanked me for The information I was able to provide him to find the truck and log me out accurately.... ( I had video & pictures of the miliage, fuel level and license plate ) Anyway, No apologies or compensation was offered. Take my advice Steer clear from this Mayfield location. The staff was loud, joking and confused. Other staff members were renting out broken equioment then they would put the key RIGHT BACK on the working equipment rack and Oooops! Rent it out again....Wow! It was pure chaos. Honestly I wonder how SAFE it is to rent a vehicle you are going to put your loved ones, the family dog and your property in and hit the road. What else is being neglected. Frightening thought! Uhaul I would appreciate it if you take this review very seriously. There are many Uhaul locations that are a real Plus and provide great service to the community that has earned the public's trust and respect. but this location is definitely NOT one of them. It's an embarrassment. Uhaul, Please re-evaluate this location. Re-educate the staff, especially on customer service and provide the Mayfield community with the quality service it deserves for patronizing U-Haul. Uhaul has my information. I would appreciate an update Take Care

I was not knowledgable about the sizes of the unit so the unit I was assigned was to small. I shared what I had so the could recommend a size. I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas. I was very upset and I am looking for other options to be out of ther before next month.
