Location was moved two days before pickup to a spot that would put us over the mileage usage for the van and when I called to ask for a change no explanation was given and I was forced to use this location which is difficult for me to reach from my home. Then the website states that vans come with cruise control however my van did not and the location was unable to provide a van that did. I am a an injured veteran and cannot drive long periods without cruise control. To me this was false advertising. Doubtful if I will use or recommend uhaul again.ROBERTT W.

I filled the gas tank to 3/4 which is exactly what it was at the time of rental. Why am I being charged for 2 gallons!!!! This makes me skeptical not only reusing online check i /check out services as well as renting from & referring others to this uhaul locationChenelle P.
This was not the location I rented the equipment from. This was 48 minutes further away from my load address. I lost time I didn't have to retrieve Uhaul equipment promised to be at the Niagara Falls location. I was in the air when you tried to contact me. The advance reservation system did not work for me. I would advise anyone approached for towing a trailer, not to. With a trailer 8.17 MPG, without 11.39 MPG, I spent the $500 on the gas.Jess T.

The gas refill system needs to be better. I swore i was at the same gas level as when I received the cargo van but apparently i was charged 10 dollars to fill. You cant expect a person to fill it at the exact same position thats almost impossible unless the tank needs to be full completely.Nwabueze I.

This location was excellent.. The whole first time uhaul renter experience was brutal from start to finish. I would never ever recommend you to anybody. If you happen to read this, send me an email so I can explain this horrible overall experience. Even now the return process sucks. They're running a small-scale scam on the outgoing fuel levels of the vehicles. Attendant told me the tank on the van I rented was full and should be returned full. I drove the van 15 miles and ended up putting 6 gallons of gas in it before returning. I told the attendant and he told me to talk to the manager. I didn't bother. Life's too short to hassle over $20. And I'm sure this happens all the time because people like me can't be bothered to challenge it. Just thought someone should know.CHARLESB V.

First truck they brought out had air conditioning problem. Clerk inside the store tried to tell me the older trucks have to run for a while before â€œair conditioning kicks inâ€. He also told me big trucks never have ice cold air coming out. I refused to take the truck. Another worker then brought a second truck - same six's and age. A/C was excellent and worked immediately. I had originally booked a 17' truck but they didn't have one available so they changed it to a 15' truck at a different location. I had asked Amy to send me the new location for pick up. She never sent me the new address and I drove to the incorrect address which made me late to pick up the truck. Also, the driver's was so badly rusted underneath you could not move the seat forward. This made driving difficult and unsafe as I am on the shorter side.Andrew L.

I was over charged exponentially , do to an employee failure to correctly input my info into the system 7/22/2021. My charges came to 170$ and ended early on 7/25/2021 with correct gas , milage , and a clean van , The manager put a $1500 hold charge on my card with a fault building statement. This was very disrespectful an troublesome. Now I have to wait for my $1400 to clear. In the middle of moving in the pandemic. How unprofessional. This would be grows for a demotion in my book. On the equipment return, I refilled the gas tank to check out level of 5/16. The associate that checked me in went over the truck and proceeded to say you're all set and you will get your receipt via email. I did get that email later and saw that he charged me $8.00 for two gallons. He never said anything and the fuel level was where it was when I checked it out. It's not so much the charge but the principle. He could have mentioned something to me. Perhaps I would have taken it across the street to put two gallons in at half the price.Jacob C.

I scheduled pick up at 12 pm at the South Park Ave Buffalo NY location. When I arrived there was no vehicle available for me. I was not able to pick up a vehicle until 1:30 pm and had to pick it up at a new location. This delay significantly impacted my trip. I am very disappointed.Robert D.

Picking up was easy. The customer service rep was respectful and fast. I return truck on time back to location.. However next morning at 7:15 am, UHAUL employee calls me DONT even identify who he was he just says in a very loud tone...YOU NEED TO BRING THAT TRUCK BACK NOW..YOU AIN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO GOTTA MOVE , I said hello who are u looking for and who are you..he said I'm calling from UHAUL and you ain't return the truck you rented yesterday. I told him yes I did and he needed to do his job and look before he call waking people up and yelling and disrespecting folk so early in morning. Contract # 99604283 I had a reservation online with Genessee street in Buffalo. They did not have the equipment. They called Main Street and I went and got a 15' truck from Main Street Buffalo. I had reserved a utility dolly, which Main Street did not have. Apparantly too, the original order where I requested ONE utlity dolly and ONE packet of 6 furniture pads was not canceled (even though I received an email that the orginal reservation was canceled) was DOUBLED so the bill has 2 utility dollies and 2 furniture pd packets listed. I HAD ONLY ONE FURNITURE PAD 6 pack and NO UTLITLTY DOLLY AT ALL. There was NO utlitly dolly at all. I was charged for not returning the dolly. I was never given one. The following charges are INCORRECT AND MY CREDIT CARD NEEDS TO BE REFUNDED: $55 for a utlity dolly I WAS NEVER GIVEN $5 for a second furniture pack I WAS NEVER GIVEN or used. $7 charge for a utlity dolly I WAS NEVER GIVEN $?
