The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. He answered all questions and helped me pick the supplies I needed this go around. I used this location about two months ago with an older truck that was very loud. This time I had a new truck and it was nice!

Vehicle needs alignment
ANGEL HNot over charge peoples debt cards and then argue with them that you didn't I was contacted by my bank and asked why it was 211.68 and the employee of your told me they only charged me $159 that it would take a couple of days for it to get back onto my card but I can't figure out while I was even charged $211 to begin with

JESSE MThe tow trailer we got was not there when we arrived to pick up. Had to wait 30 minutes for it to get there. When I went to put my car on the tow trailer the straps were both very frayed and short. This made it almost impossible to thread the straps into the slot on the ratchet in the freezing ice & snow. One strap came off while driving and I had to trim the fray, as well as singe the edges to be able to re-thread it. When we got to our destination, one ratchet would not release the strap. I had to cut it to get the car off the trailer. As a first time uhaul renter I was very disappointed.

REBECCA SWhy make the customer wait until they get there to do a 20-30 minute pick up and drop off process. The pick up process specifically. I could've done all that before I got there but you want me to submit documents and then someone to review my documents after I get there? It was hard to find pick up and drop off options on the website. The site would load for 5 minutes after I hit submit on a page , then I would end have having to reload the page because the page got stuck in the loading state, and I would have to refill the page again. The whole process of picking up and dropping off was grueling and a poor user experience.

THOMAS CEverything went smooth. I was just a bit taken aback with the extra charges I didn't expect. As a single mother on a fixed income price changes can cause an unstoppable ripple effect on the outcome of your weekly finances. Overall the experience was top teir and the cashier was beyond helpful.

However, when it came to the storage unit, I had major problems the day I got my truck a few weeks ago the elevators went down, causing me to not be able to empty my storage unit. The Assistant Manager Nesha had a very nasty attitude and she stated that she was going to notate everything in the system, but she did not notate anything. She told me I would be accommodated. I called back Monday to verify with the GM Leah and Leah said that she would handle everything And it would be zeroed out. I received a phone call a few days later with Nesha on the line and Leah in the background, they both were screaming at me. Nesha yell that she would never tell me that they were going to cover my storage unit until it was clear Leah was in the background yelling asking me when am I going to move out very rudely. I remained calm and professional, while being yelled at while I was at work. When I came to unload my storage unit, there was locks on my unit and they kicked me out of it despite me still being polite. Not once did I get out of character being treated this way. Leah did take care of the storage fee as promise so I do appreciate that. But when I return my Uhaul, I had to deal with Nesha and she still had an attitude with me as if I did anything wrong. The black guy I believe his name was Mark did make my experience better by helping me out as much as he can. To me, he holds this location together. Honest feedback!

ernesto rThe staff was very accommodating and helpful with issues I was having with the place I had a reservation at not being open and helping me find a truck to use today. The few things that would have improved my experience for me is having dollies to rent, and having a truck with a ramp pull down. Those issues really hurt my time and with weather today that would have been so very helpful. Would have made the experience epic if they had been available but atlas it was a appreciated and helpful experience and I would use this location again.
ERICA CI came in on a Saturday morning to rent a trailer. There was a bit of a line but it went quickly. I believe it was Marc that helped me with my reservation. True professional. I had an injury to my foot that limited my mobility. He hooked up the trailer, we made sure the lights worked, and I was on my way. When I returned the trailer, it was a bit crowded. I had to wait a bit to find out where to return the trailer. Eventually, he came out to unhook the trailer and I was on my way. Overall a great experience. I would say wait times could improve, but the wait times were not a concern to me. The store was busy.

KATHERINE KNo cargo van at all. But I was allowed to reserve one for that SPECIFIC location. So I had to get a 15ft box truck. Then the floors in the cab were VERY slick. Not safe at all. Back of truck hadn't been swept at all. Very messy. Broken glass in back. When we returned truck we were made to wait outside in the cold for someone to grab the keys opposed to being allowed to drop them off in office.

They know their jobs so completely, that any suggestion they have made has been something that has saved me time, and money, that I was clueless about. My opinion is, if U haul needs a site, and staff, to model and train, any new staff, then Preston should be training HQ!
William T | First ImpressionsUpon arrival I pulled into the lot and it was clean; but nobody was there to help. The signs say to sit and wait so I did. Some gentleman who was picking up garbage saw me and asked if I was waiting to check in the truck. I told him yes and he directed me into the building. There were six to eight people standing in line for service. The man who originally spoke to me said I didn't need to stand in line if I didn't need a paper receipt. I thanked him and left. Now looking at my online charges, I paid $201 for a job that should have cost me at least half of that.

STEPHEN HI requested a truck from a closer location. Got a message that they didn't have the truck I needed and was giving me a larger truck for the same price. What I shouldn't have been charged for was the additional mileage. The association that checked me in kept stopping to speak to another associate and also answered the call. Lastly no appliance dolly was available after I reserved one and I wasn't informed of this until I was checking in. Had to rent one from a local hardware store.

MICHAEL RTowing equipment wasn't inspected, The hitch ball that I was using was undersized, but that was not checked prior to hooking up the trailer. This caused extra expenses at the loading destination and extra time as I had to locate equipemnt before loading. These caused me to be much later than expected and the rental location charged me double for the rental since I wasn't back in the agreeed upon time due to the issues with the trailer. There was at least one safety device a pin securing the ball socket on the trailer that was missing. Tires were under inflated. Saftey chains were not secured and found dragging when reached destination to load vehicle.
SEAN RPlease train all of the employees to issue refunds. I had to wait 30 minutes for a refund.

Would have been far easier just to rent the local trailer from the second location and been done without waisting the time going to 3rd location.

The only discrepancy was the lack of a dolly that I paid seven dollars for but didn't receive even after I contacted U-Haul, but it was on a Sunday and I couldn't find an open location that had one. Therefore, I refuse to pay for the 3 miles they said I went over my 30 mile ETA. Now we're even and other than that I had a smooth, easy experience!

YRIS Vcar hauler needs refurbished the latched whenchs are WORE out, left side latch to drop down fender fastened with a wire. This was not a pleasant experience!

Kevin M | Overall ExperienceThe person whom was directed to assist me with the truck parking and check-in could not speak enough English, and miscommunicated with me on several topics. First, i wanted to temporarily park the truck in their lot while i went to pick up my rental car from the nearby airport for my return drive to Texas. The worker had no idea what i was saying, and kept pointing to the next-door storage facility and telling me to park there. It made 0 sense. I just needed to have the truck parked and not checked-in for 45 minutes, so i could come back and get my things out of the back. I had to go inside again to talk with another employee and simply tell them that I was leaving the truck there with my lock on it, and that I'd be right back. The same non-english speaking worker was in charge of checking my truck in, when i came back from the airport with my rental car. The truck had a very bad steering wheel problem, and i tried to explain it to him. He kept telling me that it was "good." I said "no, not good. it's bad. very bad." He said "good" and gave me a thumbs up. He had no idea that I was trying to explain a serious mechanical issue with the truck, and would have simply rented it to the next person, in the same condition. I had to go inside, again, to tell a different employee about the alignment problem. Hopefully they get the truck steering fixed, and start to hire more proficient workers.
ANDREW SNothing! Both locations were very helpful and customer oriented. I did need to have lights plug install at Queen Creek location for pickup. They were able to get me on the schedule and pick up box same morning!
Richard PI would say the experience in keeping my things stored here was average. It was average to me because it was my first time storing things in a storage. I liked that it was a climate controlled space however upon getting my things out of storage it was covered with like a sticky insulation type residue. I had to wipe off all of my things stored. I do feel as though I should've gotten a refund due to the fact that I was always on time with my payments and it shouldn't have mattered that I did or didn't give notice before I took them out. My last payment I made like a week ahead of time, a week and a half. As I said before it was an average experience and in the future I hope that I won't have to store my things again.

We felt like the design of the Self-Storage solutions facility was pretty well thought out. The elevator should be tweaked just a bit though, so that the door stays open about 20 - 25 seconds longer. In one instance of loading to go upstairs, the door closed on my sister's arm as she tried to wave it back open for another customer. The main thing that kept me from selecting the "Excellent" rating is the need for more flatbed carts. This particular location needs at least two more of them. As we experienced, five or six families trying to achieve the transportation of belongings with just 3 flat carts and a mattress cart added on to the stress of moving.
