Staff was helpful and friendly. However, I will be getting charged an extra $20 because I tried to drop off after hours. There was an employee there who told us to "put the key in the box and check in on the app." Unfortunately, putting the key in the box made it so that we could not access the information needed to check the vehicle back in (mileage, etc.). It was not explained to us by ANYONE or on any signage that we had to still have access to the vehicle when checking it back in to get the pertinent information for check-in. There was nothing I could do. VERY bad system. It would help if the $20 could be forgiven.

Though the 800 UHaul number told me I could recycle boxes at this location, when I arrived they told me they would not accept the boxes i had loaded in the truck “because of covid”. That was a lie because one of their workers had earlier told me to take the boxes into the office. Later, another employee told me they stopped recycling boxes because they couldn't make money doing it. In addition to not accepting the boxes they did not offer any ideas for how to resolve the situation. This was a horrible end to what had been a pleasant moving experience.

None of the employees at this facility were wearing masks, thought all 5 or 6 customers in the building were. I felt uncomfortable in the space and had no choice but to wait in line as I needed a truck and could not easily choose to do business elsewhere.

The trailer was clean but had a severe leak. I drove through a small rain storm on the second day of my trip. When I arrived to unpack the trailer, I found that my $6000 mattress had gotten wet and filthy on one corner.

Clean out the truck before renting. Crumbs were in the cup holders. Keep personal conversation to a minimal while customers are in the store. The personal conversation among customers continued and finished while we were waiting to be waited on to continue with our move.

I arrived unaware that U-Haul will not rent a trailer to depart without lights. It would be nice if that were something I had to acknowledge when I made my on-line reservation without reading all the fine print. My friend had acquired a used vehicle with a receiver and had never checked whether there were lights - U-Haul rep was alone and not certified to do lights, anyway. My friend discovered that he DID have a socket to connect lights, and the U-Haul rep was sufficiently knowledgeable to find in inventory & sell us the appropriate connector to pass the lights inspection, even though such wasn't promised without an advance reservation.

The people who worked at the uhaul center were very helpful however the customer service person gave us the wrong box number and wrong keys to pick up our truck. We had to wait an hour before we got the right key for our truck. It was a huge inconvenience and we were very disappointed

I rented the truck from Blakeman's in Tunbridge VT. When I went there to pick it up I was told they didn't have one, even though I called them specifically to confirm it! I then had to drive all the way back to Lebanon. It put me way behind.

Check-in took longer than I might have expected. Returning the van was very quick and no hassle. The van itself was clean and exactly as I needed. Thank you.

When people are moving they need support. I bought 3 boxes and left them outside while the truck was being pulled out. The gentleman PICK UP: I bought the boxes from pulled the truck around, threw in some blankets I had ordered and then closed the door. I was looking at my phone to go over the damage info and assumed he had put the boxes in the truck as he closed the door. DROP OFF-The girl helping me at drop off was really helpful. The contract said add 1.7 gallons to get it back to where it was which seemed way too little, but I went and added 2 gallons and it did not bring it up to the 1 bar above empty point. Not sure what's up but this feature is not working.

Each person I worked with here was helpful. The drop off of the auto was easy. The storage unit process was kindly explained. The truck return was simple. Uhaul is a busy business and everyone at this location was working hard.

The dolly and blankets ziptied to the cargo area was very inconvenient to load around. I did not request these items and I found their presence quite irksome. I didn't cut the zipties as I did not want to be charged for items I had already refused. We simply did what we could around these inconveniently placed items.

We've dropped off 3 trucks here in the last 2 months. There is a space in the driveway tgat says "park here and stay with the truck" except no one ever comes out to check you in. One time I saw a staff person at the other end of the parking lot and honked and he alerted someone else to come check me in. The other two times I had to go in the building to find someone only to be told "you're all set, just leave the truck."

All employees and the manager were not wearing masks, or not wearing them properly, when inside the building and when within 6ft of customers including myself. The town Lebanon, has a mask mandate for all public locations. The employees were clearly violating this mandate. I will be avoiding any uhaul rentals until this type of behavior is resolved.

I was told I will have a 10 foot truck but on the day of pick up when I reached the location I was given a 15 foot truck and the crew was not even considerate that I needed a 10 foot truck and not a bigger one because I was driving into a city with narrow streets.

The code we were given with the online check-in process didn't work, and the woman manning the desk had no idea how to fix it. She found another woman who tried to fix it and couldn't. Then they asked another man who worked there who tried to give me a key card and the key card wouldn't work. So I went back and waited with my stuff (and crew of people who were helping unload the truck) until they got me a keycard that could access the place where my unit was. On to the unit. The storage unit we were given was marketed as a 10 x 15, but when we arrived there was a massive square removed from it (for I'm assuming stairs to the upstairs). For 200 dollars a month I was expecting (and needed) a full 10 x 15 storage unit. Very disappointed about this.

It was pretty frustrating getting a $20 charge for not using the Uhaul app for an after hours return when the app wouldn't recognize my location (enabled location services; tried on 2 browsers; reset phone; tried a different phone; tried scanning the barcode-- which wasn't recognized; then finally gave up). This was extra frustrating as I alerted staff to this when I checked in and they just couldn't care less. I get it, this isn't their responsibility-- and having a non-functioning app or barcode is probably a pretty convenient way to get an extra $20 per rental. But it was frustrating and would absolutely deter me from renting again-- especially if picking up or returning during non-work hours-- unless absolutely necessary.

The best thing you can do for this location is to replace the management and part of the staff. The experience I had was awful and I would never in my life ever recommend U-haul ever again. This all ranges from none of my equipment available when I showed up, to the staff member adding on additional charges to my order. Not to mention that my equipment was made ready an hour and a half after I was supposed to pick it up.

Apparently the truck I had been scheduled for hadn't come back by the time I was supposed to get it. Since my location was changed to here specifically from Hanover, this seems kinda silly. Luckily after only a brief confusion the staff figured I could take a larger truck for the same price, so everything worked out fine. Just odd to move the pick up location and not have the truck available.

It took three customer service agents to help a single customer delaying the time it took to get service. Only one of the agents was wearing a mask despite signs posted everywhere saying masks were required. The agent we dealt with told us we were “all set” and then proceeded to charge our account extra money. It has been three days now with no response from the manager regarding the charges and continued calls to uhaul customer service. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Everything went well during the pick-up of my U-Haul rental truck in Lebanon, NH. The only difficulty I experienced during the period of my rental occurred at the U-Haul drop-off site on Marginal Way in Portland, ME. When I tried to verify the odometer and fuel level readings, the photo function on your drop-off app failed to work.

The access to the storage is horrible . You need to carry boxes up stairs and then get them through a door and onto a conveyor belt to go down a flight of stairs and then fight through a meat curtain.

As far as I am concerned the Hanover Street uhaul is the company's only beacon of light. People there were friendly and helpful after a poor experience dealing with call center reps who were clueless.

Hard to get your stuff into, must walk up stairs then down stairs to get to the unit. Massive conveyor belt makes it easier to get stuff down but dangerous for kids. It was clean.

I had problems while here. First, the automatic payments got messed up and I was locked out of my unit due to Uhaul error. Also, there was water damage and a lot of senimental items were ruined.
